The guy behind me began to interfere, and I turned and simply said to him "mind your own business" I was standing at the counter trying to straighten out an obvious misunderstanding, and I was treated like the enemy. I needed to return some large and extremely heavy/bulky items back to an online carpet store, and tried a UPS store in Mt. Kisco where I waited in a non-moving line with absolutely no acknowledgment from the customer service reps of the people waiting in line. After 15 minutes of waiting and the line not only not moving, but no acknowledgement of any of us waiting, I left. I saw that there was a store in Croton Point and headed there. Wow what a difference!! I went inside to ask if I could borrow a trolley to bring my boxes in, and one of the staff actually offered to help me! He came out to the car, helped me with the 4 enormous boxes, and we went inside. And man, what I thought would be a simple task wasn't one - because I had to spend a lot of time on the phone with the rug company trying to get them to pay for their own mistake (they wanted me to pay for shipping back an item that was represented incorrectly on their website!). The UPS staff was INCREDIBLY patient with me, and even kept the boxes near the counter for me while I spent at least an hour on phone calls (the shipping of the rugs back was going to cost over $500....) taken from my car. In the end, the rug company did the right thing and handled it, but they ended up scheduling a pick-up from my house the next day. The UPS staff was so nice about it, even helping me get the stupid boxes BACK to my car, that I'll never use another store again for my shipping - Croton will get ALL of my business and I ship a lot of stuff. They may be swamped with customers needing complicated services but some employee will notice me waiting to do some simple thing and come to expedite my service without neglecting the other customers. I shipped a video card from there on January 18th. The receiver said the card was never recevied and they received an entirely different box containing a flat screen protector worth barely nothing. This store also extra charged me cause they said my packaging wasn't good enough for shipping and charged me $3 to print out a UPS label from my phone. Either the clerk there has sticky fingers or someone is extremely incompetent. I can't be bothered with trying to figure out what happened to my video card but the clerk there was acting shady after he noticed the packaging was for a Gigabyte video card. I'll never do business with them again and figured I'd warn others in case this is becoming a trend with this store. read more

Terrible service. Not professional . I asked to have a passport overnighted and was told it would arrive by the next morning. $93.00. I asked several questions to a bored employee about when it was leaving and when it would arrive. I was never told that it would arrive on Monday because it was a Friday. I specifically said it had to be there overnight by the next morning. When I called the store when it never arrived they said it was partially my fault because when I signed the agreement it said it may get there on Monday (even though I had asked the "professional" when it would arrive). When I asked if it would get there by the next morning she verbally said YES! I would have never paid $93.00 for three day delivery. I could have driven it there faster and for less money. This place used to be great. But then sent an extremely important package overnight and they 1. Put the wrong address on the package; 2. Marked it for 3 day shipping even though we asked and paid for overnight; 3. When the package was returned to the store after not being able to be delivered, they didn't call us to let us know; 4. When the recipient called to let us know it never arrived, we went to the store and they told us they couldn't find it; 5. They then blamed the UPS driver, even though they typed the wrong address into the computer. This has to be about the worst shipping experience I've ever had. Will never use them again. read more

I had a delivery which required a signature and the seller stated that this facility would hold it so I could pick it up there. Today I received a nasty call from someone at the store screaming that I should have let them know and that they are sending it back to the seller because they do not sign for alcohol. After I closed my mouth I explained that the seller made the arrangements and I didn't know anything about this could I please just come get the package and sign for it. At which she screamed they should have known! I'm not doing that! (angrily) I could lose my job! It's going back nothing I can do. so I was understandably upset and called the seller who tried to call them to understand the issue. At which the ups lady got on the phone and screamed at the seller to stop wasting her time calling about this and hung up. um ok? Customer service at its best I guess. There is a way to handle a situation and this was as the kids say "a fail". Needless to say, wont ever go back here. Will drive anywhere else to avoid. read more

I recently had to ship a package last minute and When I arrived, I asked the young man how do I ship my package to its destination and get insurance. He went to the back to ask his manager, the manager returned claiming that he can't ship my package, because the items are too expensive. I then said that's why I want to get the insurance and he stated, "YOUR WAISTING MY TIME, JUST TAKE YOUR STOLEN JEWELRY OUT OF MY STORE YOU BLACK NIGGER!!!" I'm still shocked while typing this even though it happened 2weeks ago. He refused to give me his name, (but he looks like Richard Simmons), and when the Asian lady that was waiting behind me told him he was being rude, he told her to get her air rifle and get out of his store too. I recently had to ship some oddly shaped things to my Dad out on the West Coast. I was having trouble boxing it and when I went to the post office they were no help. I decided to try to the UPS store. The guys in there were so helpful. They made sure the stuff was packed correctly and would not break. They also gave me all the options so I could compare prices and delivery dates. I'm happy to say all items arrived to my Dad on time and safe and sound. I will definitely use UPS over the post office when shipping packages from now on. read more

These folks are tremendous!!! I work from home and on the road and would not be successful without there help. They go above and beyond to help me have a virtual office. We are in constant communication via email and when I arrive I have what I need for meetings already prepared (Color Lineaments, Presentations, etc). Excellent service from these guys. Went in a week or so before Christmas and need to send multiple presents to approx 12 people. I had planned on packing the stuff in the store myself before sending them. One of the guys told me to just send the list of addresses to him via email and he packed all the packages up.
