I had a family picture that was rather large - 60x38. It was valued around $1500. I went to a nearby UPS store (Dierbergs - Clarkson Rd/Baxter out of convenience) who looked at it and were puzzled about how to ship the picture. The store clerk said someone (Branch Manager) will be back after 1:00 and will discuss with him/her and call me. They took measurements and, well, they did not call. It was going to be $500-600 when all said and done with insurance. The lack of creativity (interest) sent me to the this store right after where the staff on duty was incredibly helpful. Package shipped and the UPS driver commented on how well the picture was wrapped. I would not go back to the UPS/Dierberg's store as staff was not helpful and lacked follow up. Went in to ship a package, was quoted a outrageous price and said that I would be going to another shipping courier and thanked the woman there for her time. She told me that she could check other shippers prices like FedEx, USPS, and they would be significantly more money. I took the chance and drove to a USPS, it was 75% cheaper than what I was originally quoted at this location. Not sure what type of games are being played here, but not very happy. read more

I am the type of ADHD person who struggles with shipping things at the post office. I feel overwhelmed when I go to the post office, especially around the holidays. I never know what form to fill out. At home I can never find packing tape. I use old boxes to ship things and they have old address labels, so what do I do? And the lines are long and the post office workers are often rude and look at me like I have three heads. I met a friend for lunch in Chesterfield yesterday and as we commiserated about the stress of the holiday season, I told her that I had two open partially packed boxes of Christmas gifts in my car, with a scissors, sharpie, and almost-empty roll of shipping tape and I was dressing going to the post office after lunch. She suggested this UPS store which was only a mile away from the restaurant, and said this is where she always goes to ship things, so I decided to give it a shot. I walked in with my two boxes and the store was warm, quiet, and there was no line. i was promptly greeted by a very friendly lady who asked how she could assist. I told her that if I had to go to the post office I might have a nervous breakdown and plopped the unaddressed open boxes on the counter. Without judgment, she cheerfully finished packing and taping, printed out labels, and less than five minutes later, I was on my way. One of the boxes was shipped UPS and the other by US mail, which I didn't know a UPS store could do. It was completely stress-free and I may never go to a post office again. When I thanked the lady for all her help, she asked if I would mind posting a review. The service was so great that I am happy to do so. This is my "go to" place for Amazon returns and sending care packages to out of town family. I think the staff is courteous and helpful. They just scan my return code on my phone and give me a return receipt-Badda bing, badda boom-done! read more

I stop here from time to time, usually to drop off packages that already have UPS labels on them. The employees are friendly and they always offer a drop-off receipt. Have to get those returns back! I'm sure I'll be back! read more

Yes they supplied packaging products for your shipping needs, pickup service, a dated computer for customer use, paper recycling & such but the employees lack hospitality, personality and generosity... My experience with the store has been nothing but positive, the staff has always been nice and helpful.

This store notes that notary services are available, but do not state that they are very limited hours and that appointments should be made. That seems to be the only way to find a convenient time for their notary. Their notary is rarely available. I attempted to go on a Saturday and the clerk let me know that they don't do weekends. My thoughts: "Ok no problem. I'll come back during the week." So I go back during the week and I'm told that the notary stepped out and wouldn't be back for a while. They asked me to call in a half hour and check to see when they would be back. This is around 4 pm though so their business day was getting close to the end. I had nothing to do for that wait time so I headed home. Today I called and asked if their notary was available and they said not today at all. I tentatively gave them a time for tomorrow and they confirmed she could be there during that time. Meanwhile I could hear the notary responding in the background that she could make that time. If the notary was there at that point, then why couldn't I come in 15 min later and get quick service? Especially since the confirmed time for the next day would've been later in the day than I was trying for today. Anyway, I called a different location and they said their notary would be there all day until 6 pm. Clearly there is something going on at this store that isn't an issue at other stores. This all comes after I was already frustrated they charged $22 to ship a pair of shoes to New York with ground services. I do not recommend this store at all. I've had great experiences at other UPS Store locations and will make it a point to use other stores if needed even though this one is the most convenient for me. read more

If I could give no stars I would. In a simple word. Idiots. Not only do they move in slow motion but they act as if it is their first day. They have the same people working their for years. It is worth a trip by here just to see these morons work. Tell them you need to send a package and watch this staff jump to action. This is a great place to go when I have to ship something via UPS and far preferable than dealing with the locations inside the office supply stores. The ladies at the counter are always pleasant. I generally do a crappy job of packaging things but they correct the problems for me with nary a sigh. As an added bonus, they also process large check deposits for USAA. read more

Service is so POOR. The older woman working the front repeatedly mocked customers behind their back just for asking her more than one question. I understand that older people have less patience, but why work in the service business, let alone mail!, if you choose to treat people like this. There is absolutely no reason for this woman to be so rude. Consider taking your business elsewhere. I would have if this wasn't the only fingerprinting location close to me. read more

Scheduled a finger print appointment weeks in advance. When I arrived they tried to pretend I didn't have one until I proved with my confirmation email I had an appointment. Still refused to take my finger prints or help me reschedule a new appointment. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

My first impression was that this place was small and not stocked too well. I was here to drop off my AT&T UVerse equipment (YES!) and they must have some kind of contract with UPS. UPS was able to look up my AT&T account information while I was there and print off all the necessary paperwork. They also packaged all my equipment at UPS for me, which was nice. The employee that helped me was friendly as well. Not bad, UPS, not bad. read more

Ok so I had a wonderful experience at this location. Sandra and Kelly really worked hard to keep our costs down. They were simply wonderful. To say they were professional would be an understatement. I have used this store several times in the past couple of months and I will not be returning. All but one time, I have dealt with the same lady and she makes it a miserable experience. Sending something out at the UPS store should not cause the dread I experience when I walk in and she is the person helping me. Each time she has made me feel like I am causing her a very big inconvenience for coming into the store. Recently I missed filling in the date on the form and instead of politely asking me to complete the entire form, she shoved the clipboard back at me without saying a word. I guess I was supposed to figure out what she needed myself. She also asked me what was in the package. When I responded it was a personal item, instead of politely explaining that they are required to note what is in the package, she put her hand on her hip, rolled her eyes, and gave me a look like I was a complete idiot. At one point in that interaction she also stopped what she was doing with me to visibly roll her eyes at another customer in the store who was working with another associate. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. When walking in the store, no other customers were in there and I wasn't greeted at all. There was a young boy at the counter with headphones in and on his phone. I could see an elderly African American lady folding boxes a little further back, still no greeting. Finally the young man looked up from his phone, took ONE headphone out & asked me what I needed. I responded that I needed to have a paper faxed and asked the price. He responded "like $1.25 or something" & I was like ok, I'll be right back I'm going to my car to get my wallet. As I turned my back he said "uhm ya know we take cards too?" With the tone of "are you an idiot?" Didn't appreciate that at all. So after returning from getting my wallet I stood at the counter for 5 minutes before I was greeted again while the young man rearranged things on the counter & payed no attention to me. Finally the lady came over & with an attitude said "are you trying to fax this?" Meanwhile the young man puts his headphones back in, I glance over & he's watching an anime TV show. I wish I got paid to watch TV. While waiting for the paper to fax a gentle man came in with a box that needed to be shipped, set in on the scale by the young man & the lady yell "uh uh you need to bring that over here, he don't know how to do that" I was taken back at first, like what? He doesn't know how to do it? why is he working there then? & why was she so rude about it? Anyway, after my paper failed to send, the lady said "you need to call them or something so they answer their fax machine, you got their number?" I called, there was no answer so I told them I would just try again the next day. I have to use this store because it's by my work but I highly recommend management teaches their employees what customer service is supposed to look like. The woman clearly did not what to be there and was rude to me and other customers who came in. On top of that I think it's very rude when employees are on their phone when customers are in the store and not getting the help they need. read more
