I used them as recommended by a local auction house, from which I won an online bid. The whole experience was flawless, from beginning to end. It is always a bit unnerving to use an outside shipper for auctions, but no worries here! They provided a pre-auction shipping estimate and answered my requests quickly and professionally. oh my! i walked into this ups store. One box with the address on it. a ups shipping barcode on an email document. (i know they can scan it) sorry sir this must be printed before i can use it. " i have no printer" then you must email it to us and pay a five dollar fee for us to print it. She said "we are not UPS" Ill be using usps moving forward. read more

The store is suppose to open at 8:30. I wanted to get an early start on my day so I arrived at 8:25. The store did not open on time. 10 customers came and left because the store was closed. At 8:50 Amber the manager and another employee showed up, I asked if the store was suppose to open at 8:30, Amber gave me a very sarcastic reply. She told me she forgot to set her alarm and needed 10 minutes to get things ready for business. Amber when you obviously are in the the wrong you should never pull an attitude. By far a terrible experience. Like the others, I had an amazon return with a prepaid label. The clerk demanded I have to pay $2 per package for them to properly prepare it. Apparently they needed to open it to add filler. Now, not a single UPS shipped package was received from amazon with filler. So turned off by all this. Second bad experience with this store. Definitely not coming back. Go elsewhere. read more

After we sold our house and we had not yet found a nee one, we weren't sure what was going to happen to our mail. We asked a friend and they told us that the UPS store on Ringgold Road was awesome. They had actually done the same thing and even after buying a new home, they continue to get their mail there. After working with them for the last six months I can understand why. They make it super easy, the staff is always friendly and they clearly have a handle on it all. We highly recommend this location. read more

I dropped off an Amazon return that was supposed to be postage paid, but the crook at the counter said that it would cost about 5 dollars for additional tape. He said that it would require more tape, the package was exactly as I received it originally? So I am sure this is just another example of a store scamming Amazon customers for more money. I will never go back to this store and encourage you to bypass it as well. read more

This is the worst UPS store in the country. I strongly advise avoiding them at all costs. They are totally useless. I have spent days trying to contact them. Their phone defaults to a general ups information service in india which is not allowed to give out this store's contact information. This store has a deal with heritage auctions to pick up its auction sales. It then sends out invoices using another UPS store's number which are paid - and then nothing. It does not send out tracking information and the items do not arrive. I was a fool to do business with heritage auctions and they are fools to do business with this UPS store. So are you if you do business with either one of them. read more

I hit up this location to get a few copies of a presentation printed out; I chose it over my standard go-to because someone (Jenny-O) actually took the time to review a copy/print business. And in my experience, copy shops are required by law to have 2/3 of machines out of order, one disinterested employee, and dirty floors. Long story short, I was in and out of this UPS store in about 4 minutes with copies in hand. Also, I spent about half of what I normally expect to pay, everything was clean and very well organized, and both gentlemen in the shop were extremely friendly and the "drop everything" type of guys. Finally, it's very accessible from 24, so if you are heading east to a meeting in Knox/ATL or otherwise, this location is mad convenient. read more

Went to the store to return Amazon purchase already had shipping label printed, and the older gentleman said it's a refusal if it wasn't opened and they don't take refusals and I would need to find a driver or take to main UPS hub. I asked if I opened it then could I leave it and he restated "ifs it a refusal" clearly not wanting to assist me. He also stated they wouldn't take it because they were not going to be like the USPS and lose 40 billion dollars, that's when I realized what I was dealing with. read more

We needed 22 binders made and printed within a few days. When I reached out to Heather she said no problem. She had it done in 3 hours! It was all in great shape and well organized and clean! Never go here IF you need something to get to where it is going. I was just told by "Rick", after leaving messages for the Manager today (which he never called me as "he is really busy"), that they are NOT liable for ANYTHING. Now Amazon tells you to take it the UPS stores, but Amazon does NOT tell you that UPS will NOT stand behind this, even with their USELESS tracking number. My return NEVER left the store, so... I will now be charged by Amazon since they never received the return I left at this worthless "shipping" store. No customer service, no dependability and CERTAINLY not one shred of concern for THEIR failure. Thank you, UPS Store, for showing me how I NEVER want to treat others. P.S. Just tried to return an Amazon package. The very rude gentleman tried to charge me $2 for more tape and batting. If it was good enough to ship to me with that amount of tape and batting it should have been sufficient to return in that condition. Very disappointed in the customer service. Upon reading the other reviews the older gentleman is a reoccurring problem for this location and yet they seem to nothing about him. Clearly he has issues with Amazon. read more

I was in the store today with two packages labeled and ready to ship and two amazon returns with return bar codes in which UPS is supposed to scan the code and then pack & ship the item for free. The customer service rep assisting me, the older gentleman whom I assume others here are referring to, was incredibly rude. First, he said one of my packages had a dent in it so it most likely wouldn't make it to where it was going which was the Chattanooga TN amazon warehouse just a few miles away. The box barely had a dent in it was securely taped up and had no holes just a tiny little dent in the corner. I'm fully confident the package would have made it cross country just fine but he continued to "warn" me that 70% of "damaged" packages don't make it. Even the other associate working just looked over at me and grinned because this man was being absurd over this package. Then we finally get to my amazon returns after him grumbling over this previous package. He whips out his tape measure and says "No we don't pack and ship items this size (14 inches). We can pack it for you for $7." When it clearly reads on the amazon website that UPS will pack and ship the item for Free when you show them this return code. So I tried to show him what I was reading and he rudely barked and waved his hand at me as to swoosh my phone away saying "I don't care what that thing says. We won't ship it". So I asked, do I contact at Amazon about this or do I need to speak to someone at UPS because I have no label just this barcode?" He then turns around walks away and mumbles "That has nothing to do with us". And just continues to walk into the back of the store. I was appalled at the rudeness and terrible customer service I had received. This is not the first time I've seen this man be disrespectful to customers. I really feel this man needs training in customer service skills and anger management classes. His behavior was completely unacceptable. read more

These guys are among the most compassionate, helpful, nice people I've met in a long time. My dog (from NYC) went missing over Thanksgiving and they were so nice in providing discounted copies of a flyer, tape, markers, and a safe place to deal with this. The employees even went searching on their days off. After 7 days of him loose, my sweet dog was found, unfortunately recently hit by a car. But part of my grief was definitely eased by the kindness of strangers in Chattanooga - especially these guys. read more

Went here to ship a return to Amazon. I had scheduled it for pick up but wanted to switch to drop off. The guy told me that the only way he could print my shipping label was to charge me three dollars to use their computer plus printing charges. I asked if I could email him the label and then just put pay the printing charges, and he said that would still be three dollars. No idea why they're trying to rip me off just to print the shipping label that was pre-paid to UPS. The guy was profoundly unhelpful, and I left no better off than when I arrived. read more

I went here to this location because I was told by AT&T to ship my Uverse cable equipment back to AT&T at this location. I had a prepaid label and everything was packed perfectly. I had plenty of peanuts and bubble wrap and the items fit in the box perfectly. The older gentleman who works there seemed annoyed by the fact that I had a prepaid label. It seemed like he was wanting to charge me for something...anything. He gave me all kind of excuses as to why I couldn't leave my package there that day to be shipped. He told me that the truck had already left. I told him that was okay they (UPS) could just pick it up on Monday. He said we can't do that! I have never had such an unpleasant ,unhelpful experience. Looking at all the other reviews it seems like this is an ongoing problem yet there is never anything done about the issues that people complain about. After many of the reviews there is a note written by someone saying they will look into it or to give them a call. if I have a business and I'm getting multiple complaints about a certain employee or if customers are complaining about the way they're being treated I'm going to fix the situation not make empty promises. The complaints/reviews and the times that they were left clearly show that they have no intention I'm doing anything about the complaints. I will do everything I can to never have to use this store again. For the record, I don't expect employees at any business to bow and scrape and I always treat employees at any business with respect. I just want friendly helpful customer service, Nothing more. The funny thing is after leaving the Ringgold Rd. store I went to the Gunbarrel Road location and had zero issues getting my package sent. They didn't want to open it and look through it. They didn't try to sell me extra tape or tell me my shipping box wasn't good enough etc. In my opinion it really seems to bother the older gentleman at the Ringgold Road store when people bring things in with a prepaid label. It's almost like he feels like he's being taken advantage of or resents the fact that they aren't having to spend money but in reality money has already been spent because AT&T has a contract with the UPS Stores to return their items free of charge The bill has already been paid. if you don't like helping customers with returning the occasional item to AT&T then you should put a sign on your door stating so If I were you I would avoid this place unless you enjoy a hassle or want to be talked down to and treated like you are inconvenience. We shall see if anything is done or improvements are made. Judging from the long list of negative reviews dating back quite sometime, it's doubtful that they take these seriously. read more

Until last month I had nothing but excellent customer service here for the past 8yrs. The older guy who may very well be the owner is rude, to say the least. I returned two items to Amazon a month apart in the EXACT packaging I received them in only to be told by this gentlemen they weren't packaged properly and scrawled "Not in box" across the top of my tracking receipt (was shipped to me and returned to Amazon in the white shipping bag) and just yesterday "Improperly Packaged" on my tracking receipt because I returned a pair of shoes in the shoe box sealed in a shipping box like I received them in. All of this because I didn't want to buy a box for the first shipment and I have no clue what was wrong with a shoe box inside a box. All I know is he shook the box and said he hoped they weren't expensive shoes. If you have an option go elsewhere if you don't want to be subjected to douchery and extorted for money so this guy can "repackage" your stuff. read more
