The actual cost of shipping in general is high, and the more recent item that I shipped ended up arriving a week later than what had been estimated. That is frustrating, but it isn't because of the people working at this UPS Store. I called ahead of time to ask if I needed an appointment for a notary, and I was told no, just come before 5pm. Looking back, I wish they had let me schedule one, since that would have avoided this whole situation. When I arrived, the notary was helping someone else, and since I had an appointment to get to, I needed at least a rough estimate of the wait to decide if it was worth staying. Instead of giving any kind of answer, she was rude and just said, "I don't know it could be, twenty-five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes," without looking at us and without offering any alternative. Located in the "Gelsons" parking lot, this place is the best. Friendly service and smiles greet you when you drop off your package. Place is well staffed so the wait times are short. Amazon returns done in a snap. They have a few dedicated parking spots to the right of the entrance along the side wall. read more

I had to take a minute to share my wonderful experience. People are always so quick to complain but rarely take time to give praise. My experience at this store was second to none - all thanks to Esmeralda. I was visiting from Ft. Lauderdale and needed to ship a birthday gift home. It was an awkward size item but Esmeralda went above and beyond to help me find a solution. She was patient, professional and incredibly kind. I hope the owner of this store knows what an asset she is. Seriously, customer service these days is awful at most places with employees doing the bare minimum to fulfill their job duties. It is very obvious that Esmeralda takes pride in her position and does what is needed to make sure all of her customers are satisfied. My package arrived yesterday in perfect condition. My Amazon and Zappos return specialists. I'm there at least once a week sending things back and they couldn't be nicer. Unlike our local post office, where I stood in line for 25 minutes, only to be told that to "tape up" my tiny box I'd have to purchase a full roll of packing tape (which cost more then the item I needed shipped), here they happily tape up any boxes free of charge. They efficiently and quickly except my returns or any other items. Beats going to the post office, as every time I try it's like watching paint dry/getting a tongue lashing for not taping something correctly or packaging it wrong. They take not only ups and fed ex items but us postal items as well. Was happy to find this out especially after I had a shipment that required post office label. I NEVER leave reviews, but this UPS store went above and beyond in every way possible that I asked for. One of the partners of my company gave a really strange task to ship and I was given little to no information on what it all meant. Once I got all the things in order though, it still was going to be a task and a half to ship it. I went to FedEx and they didn't seem to care to help me at all. I said forget it, I'll try somewhere else. Luckily enough, this UPS was only four minutes away. So I drove over, and my gosh, they helped me out in every way. Even while a line was forming, they were trying to help out everyone else that waited longer than a minute. I went here as my normal UPS store notary was gone for the day. I got Shelly who clearly needs to retire. Over an hour to get 7 notaries for documents 6 of which where a duplicate set. Every document she touched she put the stamp back in the draw and put the pen away it was like starting over every time. Horrible and to make it worse she is rude, I can deal with slow but with that attitude not worth it! read more

I cannot believe a store can treat customers this way. Ed Newson (store owner) was the person I had the displeasure of dealing with. I came to return some ATT products and the label required me to come to a UPS location. Ed quickly told me that he doesn't do this type of thing. Nobody would be able to do this and the guy who does isn't in. To be clear, it's 2pm on Saturday, clearly in the middle of the time the store should be open for business. I think that this is probably only the third review I've ever left for anybody. But I had a wonderful experience with them this past week for a very important job. Esmeralda and another woman were the ones who helped me. I injured my ribs badly and have trouble breathing as a result. I've been putting off getting surgery because of the virus circulating. It was 104° and blistering hot on the black asphalt. Esmeralda saw that I was distressed and got me a chair to sit on while she took care of my needs. I had two packages that were sent via UPS to my home address because I was at home and I needed them for a project that we're doing for a film about NASA. They were monitors for a space capsule mock up. Not only did she track them down, but held them for me until closing time and even helped me out to the car! This is absolutely the last time I'm going to go to anywhere having to do with UPS or USPS. The same thing happened with AAA forty years ago. Once I used them I never went to the DMV unless I absolutely had to. Kudos to her and the staff. It's hard breaking up a relationship like I once had with the post office! But this is way better. They literally saved my chops on multiple fronts. read more
