I am not sure why they advertise notary services and it's not available. Waste of time and gas!

I have been using this UPS store since they were in another Ralph ave location. The only negative is that their small parking lot can get filled up quickly. The customer service is good. I am there at least once a week so I think my review should carry more weight than the one star reviews from people who had one bad experience and get frustrated. They are mostly very young people but they get the job done efficiently and they do all try to help everyone. Never rude. read more

Tiny parking lot in this plaza but there is a large lot across the street. This is my preferred UPS store because of its proximity to my bank and Starbucks. FYI They charge $1/per box to tape up your package. read more

I had an appointment to use the fingerprinting machine. So, I walked in and was directed to the machine. "It's self service," said the man. "Oh, don't you need to see my identification at least?" I asked. "Uh okay." I showed the man my information -- driver's license and a picture of my passport. He glanced at it quickly as he added his info into the machine and then walked away. I couldn't get the machine to pick up my fingerprints; so, I saw a little container of finger moistening stuff. It looked like someone's hair was in it -- but it had been over 30 minutes and the guy wouldn't come back to help so I tried it. Nothing worked -- my fingers still weren't picking up. "Can someone help me, please?" I asked the man and another woman. The woman responded "umm we really don't know anything about this machine -- it's not ours... I guess I could call someone." I waited and kept trying. Neither employee came back to help me, and I was there for 1.5 hours! I even walked out and came back into the store -- but nada. I called Sterling Identity who manages the machine, and confirmed that: A) it's their job to help B) two forms of identification, not photos req'd C) for their type of machine, that moistening agent makes things worse read more

So, I went straight to this location as I was looking for a Notary Public. My husband has difficulty walking and it was convenient for him. The service is advertised on the website and there is a huge decal on the window close to the door. We went in and "surprise"! There is no Notary Public at this location because he quit. WHY YOU DON'T JUST CALL MANAGEMENT AND TELL THEM TO REMOVE THE SERVICE FROM THE WEBSITE AND BLACKOUT THE SIGN OUTSIDE??? Because you don't care. feb 20th, 2025 i go to this location 1977 ralph ave to return to amazon. the 2 girls working very rude and nothing works!! i can not print labels!! was told to go to staples!! The staff are extremely unfriendly and coarse, they are most concerned about their personal phone calls and which song is playing.

I dropped my package off and it's been two weeks. My package is still sitting in the store and my tracking number only says shipping label created. Pretty much what they did when I was there. Came to this location today and they were so unprofessional. They don't know how to greet people when they come in and had the nerve to be eatiing while servicing the few that were in the store. No decency or thought to put the food down smh. Customer service is needed big time. There were two young ladies there and one guy who was either looking for packages or dropping them off because the Brown truck was outside. They were really eating while customers were in the store. I was in the area and was in need of a shipments to go out. There was a man having a long conversation at the door of the establishment without a mask on. I asked the clerk do they enforce the mask requirement here. She said yes but that's the owner. My instant reply is I don't care. Excuse me sir can you put your mask on. You ask for customers to wear one you should as well. He then replies if I have one on than I'm ok. This is not the attitude to have as a minority business owner I. Not for PRINTING!!!! Placed my order on Monday night. Should have realized something was up when I didn't get a confirmation email but the money was taken out of my account. Order was supposed to be ready for pickup the next day. Didn't make it there until Wednesday. Stood outside on line in 30something degree weather for 45 minutes only to be told once I entered that they hadn't event STARTED to print my job. Waited another 25 minutes to then be told the paper size I PAID FOR could not be printed except by a manager who was not on site! Beyond frustrating! Worst first experience. I walked in very friendly saying hello, and the lady came from the back ( while she was on the phone ) saying put the box on the scale. Without greeting me or anything so I put it on the table just to get my paper out and she said " I said on the scale ". So I always goto this UPS store & never have a problem till today. I go into ship a package today to Florida & the girl tells me $13. Ive shipped quite a few packages thru this store & never have paid $13, its usually between $5-$7. So then she tells me she can give me a box & I can pack it myself but she will have to charge me for tape... This store is ridiculous. I came here twice in one day to pick up a package.The first time I came the line was crazy long. I stood on line for 10 mins and it never moved. I decided to come in an hour and there was only 2 people in front of me, but it still took me 15 mins to get into the store. When I walk into the store, the level of disorganization was astounding. I stopped in the UPS store on Ralph Ave in BK on a Monday to send a package next day ... it was crowded with people and boxes everywhere for pickup, receiving or returning I'm not sure. Customers as always were impatient yet the lovely girl, Shari behind the counter was pleasant and helpful. You could see that she was trying to take care of several different concerns at one time, and her people out as fast as possible and all the while her demeanor stayed calm and pleasant. Sadly as busy and attentive the young lady was to each customer, people still complained, i guess because they thought they would be the only one running errands after work on a Monday, so why should they have to wait. Shari (I hope that is the correct name) was very attentive and thorough in her duties. 5 stars for Shari... 4 for UPS store because she needed some help. read more

The employees at this store is very unprofessional and need to be retrained. Not only was my package damaged it was sent to the wrong address. When I arrived to the store I was told that the manager will be arriving in 5 minutes. After 45 min of waiting I had someone call the store and was told that the manager will not be there for another 2 hours. Come to find out the manager was there all along. read more

Do NOT to this UPS Store if you are in need of Notary Services! Even if you have an appointment. My husband and I booked an appointment a week in advance and checked the box online indicating the services we needed, selected the time it showed they had a notary available, showed up to our appointment and told they didn't have a notary on staff that day. What a waste of time, we drove all the way cross town for nothing. You shouldn't advertise certain services and let customers book and confirm if you don't offer those services. Discrimination! I was denied service because I was not wearing a mask, I clarified that I could not wear it and covered my nose and mouth with my jacket. Two cashiers told me that they would not serve me anyway because this is not a mask !? They don't care that I can't wear it. And they don't care that I have everything closed because they don't want to risk their children ?! They told me that I am contagious, I just do not know about it myself! At the same time, their own workers go without masks! And they don't think they're infectious ?! Communicate happily with each other! Granted I entered the store at 7:56pm in which she told me the guy infront of me was the last person as it was 8, I told her it was only 7:56pm she could have taken the two little packages I had. I've visited this location once and from what I saw the service was VERY good! I came here to drop off 2 packages and the second I walked in was greeted by someone from the counter who immediately knew what I needed. He accepted the packages and even asked me to wait before I jetted off so he can give me a receipt (which I have never been asked to take at any other UPS). Good to know that he seems to be following protocol. I also saw another customer in the store being assisted with by a young woman and from what I heard by eavesdropping the worker was very helpful and nice. read more

This place is the worst place to go!!! Even just to drop off a box, that has a label and is ready to be shipped out will take you 30 minutes!! There are always multiple employees in the store, but only one person working the register, and they have such horrible customer service!! People are standing outside in the summer heat, and the employees couldn't care less. They are slow to deal with customers, rude when situations arise and just overall terrible. I've had to wait on a line of 20 people or more, standing outside in the heat, holding onto multiple heavy boxes. Their customer service needs to be improved, and it needs to be done soon. These people are useless. We received confirmation of an appointment to see a notary at this location. When we arrived, we were told that, despite the sign hanging over their desk, they do not offer these services. We showed the clerk the confirmation. He shrugged and said he couldn't help us. I recently cancelled my mailbox after more than 2 years as rheir service went from ok to deplorable. I paid $300 a year for mailbox services and they began to frequently misplace and twice completely lost packages. Emails of items delivered stopped due to a "glitch" that was never corrected. When asking staff to please look again for important packages they would roll their eyes and say they had other customers. I'd pay my quarterly bill and keep getting notices due to another "glitch". I cancelled with 2 most left on my box expecting a refund. At first they said my payment didn't go through initially so they'll be no refund. I'd show them my bank statement to prove $75 was deducted then they told me they don't give refunds. This was not posted nor was I informed of the policy. Complaints to the corporate office of UPS were just as unproductive as they got back to me once, I emailed and faxed my supporting docs and they never had the decency to get back to me despite numerous attempts to settle this issue. read more

This place is so HOOD. I went on Saturday 9-21 at around 4 pm. This young lady was windex-ing the little UPS cars on top of the cabinet and fussing at the worker below that was helping me with my package cause he kept saying you sprayed me. "I don't care as long as my customers don't get sprayed I don't care." Personally I thought the floor was gross with papers everywhere she should have taken care of that first. No one can see the damn cars all the way up top. Then one worker was hanging outside doing something with the door and the same young lady was fussing with him to come and help her with something. He ignores her and then comes in minutes later. He asked her a question about shipping liquid cause he said she didn't know. 2013 and you still know what can be sent. She kept ignoring and she finally answered. I mean it was just chaotic. It's like shipping at the post office. Kids are nice and all but it was like I was shipping out of Bed Stuy circa 1985. Tried to tracked a package and I shipped it group but someone should have told me it wasn't going to go on Saturday but actually Monday. I hope the manager was not there.
