I was told I could pay for the insurance and label and leave the item in the back to be packed later. Given the value and my responsibility for the item, I politely expressed that I was more comfortable having it packaged properly and sealed before leaving the store. To my surprise, this reasonable request seemed to be an issue. At no point was I being difficult--I was simply trying to ensure a high-value item was handled with care and accountability. For a business that handles shipping, I expected more understanding and professionalism, especially when it comes to valuable items.
