I've gone here a handful of times because it's right by my house. I was always impressed with the friendly service. Although the last time I went the woman was super friendly to my face and I remember actually thinking in my head oh wow she's so nice. She then proceeded to tell me that it would be $40 to mail my first class letter. I asked her if that was the cheapest she said yes. I then asked her if I could send it by USPS, and she said that it would be $20. I told her that didn't sound right and I left. I went to USPS and it was less than $10. Went to do an Amazon drop off and the lady inside told me she cannot accept the drop off without me providing my own shipping box and packaging.... Knowing I was getting scammed and being upsold to, I left and went to the UPS 2 miles away in Toco Hills where they scanned the same barcode and did not even mention anything about purchasing a box or needing one. Incredibly rude manager. talked down to me about my shipping issue in person when I returned to the store to ask when I could expect my package I had paid express shipping for. when the package still hadn't arrived the next day, the manager raised his voice, was condescending, and spoke over me and my brother, all while telling me it was my fault the package was lost. Don't fret, as the multi-tasking service while cool under "pressure" is exuded. If you have to step to the side for any reason, the employee will still check on you while keeping the line moving. Does anyone with common sense and a brain work here? I have been on hold for three different calls for about 40 minutes? I have been asked for my name 5 times, and my tracking number. It would be wonderful if you could employ people who can understand someone speaking. I have a tracking number and the UPS has not been updated in 2 days and it says it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. The first guy had no idea what he was doing. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and called back and asked again. I was told the same thing I already know. It's in processing. I asked to speak to a manager, I was asked to build a profile. When I said no, they put me on hold and then transferred me to a survey. Which they got ALL 0's for. I called back, and I got a "we are too busy." Seriously, do you only hire morons? And is there a reason they cannot answer one question of the customers and are only focused what the tracking number is telling them (which is they are not aware, we can see the same information). Unfriendly, not friendly, and rude. I have been here several times over several years and have quit going here. The younger guy that works there is very rude and very unfriendly always. The owner does not care when the employee is rude and unfriendly. The owner is ok, just not friendly. He is not unfriendly, just not friendly. Neither of them knows what a smile is. Another older guy who works there is very nice though. The parking lot is a total nightmare. We should all go to the Toco Hills franchise, it is great.  Friendly nice courteous people there. So let me just start off by saying that I have been looking for a notary public to get some pesky forms I need notarized. It's one of those things that when you're not looking for it, everyone around you is a notary. But when you need it in a pinch, no one offers it. I don't know why but UPS apparently is the place to go for notaries (in contrast, Fedex does not offer this service!). This UPS store in a small strip mall (as have been every other Fedex, USPS and UPS stores I have been to here in Atlanta so far). There were 2 people working the desk and of course the line was held up because people can't understand common sense. Despite these challenges, the two at the desk held their cool and were patient and soon ushered those guests on their way. My notary was a little more on the expensive side ($14) but it was a necessary thing. I had a good experience here contrary to what others have expressed on here! read more

The UPS store at Brighton Park on Briarcliff Rd. Is a total disaster. I don't believe the employees know what they are doing. It seems that they are more interested in listening to music than they are in serving the customer. The store is badly run and seems very disorganized. Horrible place. Don't trust them with shipping your overnight important packages/documents or anytime time sensitive. I paid $52.00 to overnight important documents for a second home I'm purchasing out of state. The package was to be delivered Friday by 10:30am.I went online to confirm delivery. No delivery. It says "Delivery Attempted" that's BS. The realtor office opens @0900. Allegedly the driver attempt to make the delivery at 10:20 and left left a note at the business (never happened). If he really went there and got out of his truck and went up to the suite on the 4th floor. My papers would've been delivered. I called the store to find out what assistance they could offer. I was told "the manager was on the phone, call back in 5 mins" I called back in 20 mins. Now I can't get through (busy signal) tried calling 7 times. I live near by. I went into the store. The manager here is very unprofessional and he seems to not know anymore than his employees. UPS online customer service sucks and good luck trying to reach an actual person at their customer service center. Never again. I'm done with UPS. read more

VERY disappointing experience here today. The manager basically yelled at me and instead of listening to my problem. I recently sent a package of bakery items from a deli in New York that friends had sent, upon my mother's death. I was sending the package of goodies to my daughter and was assured that UPS Ground would deliver them in time for a memorial service that she'd planned. UPS lost the package and now will reimburse me for the shipping cost and the $50 contents estimated value. I asked that I also be reimbursed for the bakery we had to go out and buy in a hurry, and compensation for the inconvenience. Basically $100 instead of $60. The manager/owner seemed very angry when I said I would talk to UPS Corporate if his store couldn't help me out. He made no expression of apology or ANY semblance of customer service. I'll be going to Fedex Office over at the Lindbergh-Sidney Marcus location from now on, and will recommend this to my friends as well. read more

You should purchase a mailbox here. I did. I was originally going to purchase a Post Office box (for my business needs) but decided to get a mailbox here instead because your mailing address will be an actual street address instead of a PO Box. To me, it appears more professional than having a Post Office box. That's not the only reason I like this UPS Store. The guys that work there are extremely courteous. A couple of associates always greet me by name when I walk in to check my box. Not only that, but whenever I need to mail a letter or package, they always find the best (cheapest/quickest) way for me to mail it. They also email you whenever you have a package. The only thing I don't like is they only give you 5 days to pick up a package that won't fit in your box. read more

OMG HE IS THE WORST!!! The manager George, (who isn't fit to be a manager by the way) was VERY rude and unprofessional towards me. I came in a few weeks back and needed to print off some prepaid labels and didn't mind paying the $2 fee for using the computer and when I noticed that one of my labels printed out blank, I told the woman who was sitting at the counter about the situation and she kindly came over to help me. She offered to print off the final label on a computer that was apparently "not for customer use" and her manager interrupted her and began to yell at her in front of me and another customer. I felt so bad for her. First off, how rude can you be to yell at your employees in front of other customers? Talk about unprofessional! She gently intervened and tried to explain my situation and he started asking her what she meant by "blank paper". Exactly that...BLANK PAPER. I mean, what else could she have possibly meant by blank paper? Don't ask stupid questions. After his temporary moment of impoliteness, he allowed her to print off the label for me and I knew I didn't want to come back. I wish I would've gotten her name, but she gave EXCELLENT customer service and was so sweet. Terrible customer service, like hilariously bad, almost like a cartoon. I asked why they couldn't print in color, the manager said he didn't feel like ordering a new color printer?! Then he shrugged and said "I hope this looks like how you want, otherwise I can't help you." And he was leaning over like he didn't want to help me in the first place, like lazy leaning on the counter as soon as I walked in. So they just don't offer anything pertaining to professional looking documents requiring color. They also almost accidentally gave my personal documents with personal info to another customer because they didn't confirm the name with them. These documents contained my SSN and UPS corporate would've heard from me. And the manager is SO MEAN AND RUDE so I don't expect the associates to act better. I usually would not seek opportunities like this to make ratings and I am crystal clear that you don't necessarily have to like someone to conduct business. The way he spoke to me because he don't know how to look up something in his system was out right disrespectful . I'm sad to say that I just had a bad experience with the manager/owner of this store. As an ebay seller I bring him many shipments each month (and the majority of the packaging and shipping is done directly through them, not online or at home). Today I brought in another ebay package to ship as well as a pre-boxed item to return to a company. I forgot to print the label for it at home and asked if they could do it for me. They said I'd have to use their computer for $2. I asked for an exception to be made since I bring them so much business and without even introducing himself to me, the manager came out from the back and began to lecture me on their policies. I related that I valued customer service which is why I choose them over USPS and he told me I was wrong and shouldn't confuse their store with UPS.... Someone's not listening haha. He continued to interrupt me and honestly showed that he couldn't care less if I was happy or if I left. Also, the other employee looked like he was dressed to go for a walk on a trail. No uniform or ID tag. Couldn't tell he was an employee except for the fact that he was behind the counter. Extremely unprofessional and uncaring place to visit. We had to get some forms notarized for our move and this was first location on the list the apostille office gave us. We gave them a call to make sure they had a notary there and were open, and they said yes. When we arrived we were promptly greeted. It's a quaint size UPS store with the usual PO boxes, shipping supplies, cards and services offered throughout the UPS stores. I just left this location, using their printing services (I do from time to time), as I'm a design major. This location is interesting because they make you use the computer to charge you per minute (which is fine), but for someone who wasn't completely savvy with this system, there wasn't much guidance. The lady was very nice! But the guy, who seemed to be the manager was not a help at all!! When the printer messed up, as I was told to "just press print," They still went ahead and charged me for the mess-ups that are going in the trash anyway... he proceeded to go behind the desk and act carefree about the issue.
