Stopped by the ups store 1101 volunteer pkwy. Lakyn was working alone while her coworker was on lunch. She was juggling a steady stream of customers with shipment drop offs and pkgs needing packing and shipping. Had what appeared to be a rather large order of color copies be processed and the UPS driver was there to make a pickup. I needed two faxes sent and a mound of two sided medical records copied and separated into files as I had brought them in. Lakyn never missed a beat. She maintained control of all the customers needs and kept a smooth flow with no delays for anyone. Most importantly she was in good spirit with a stand out attitude of customer service. this store is a great place to go if you want to be yelled at by the manager and treated rudely by the girl who is typically at the front desk. Absolutely the worst I've ever been treated in a store! I was being yelled at while I was walking out the door. At least the verbal assault is free and not overpriced like their boxes. read more

This store is not worthy of one star after my experience today. Never in my life have I witnessed such horrible customer service or have I been treated publicly like I was today at The Bristol UPS Store by Rob, the store manager. I went in today with five Amazon returns. I always use the self service kiosk (if available) for any returns with a QR code. One box was bigger so I sat it on the floor while I waited in line at the kiosk because my hands were full. When the person in front of me moved up, I took my foot and barely scooted the box a few inches and moved up. When it came my turn, Rob asked me what I needed help with. I explained I didn't need any help and I was just going to use the kiosk. He asked me if my returns were no box, no label returns and I explained that some were so I would take care of them at the self serve kiosk. He raised his voice and told me that I needed to go into the other line and I said I would for my one return that wasn't a QR code. I always do my QR code returns myself so I don't hold up the other line of people needing to speak an associate. He didn't let me explain that at all. He started raising his voice even louder and telling me that I needed to move to the other line because there was no reason for me to do both. At this point, everyone was looking at me and I said "I am not sure why you are yelling at me!" I turned around and scooted the box another few inches with my foot to the other line like he was yelling at me to do. I said "This is why I go to the Abingdon UPS store!" He started yelling again "What did you say?" I said, "This is why I use the Abingdon store. You are yelling at me for no reason when I was trying to use the SELF SERVE KIOSK. I didn't ask for anyone's help, I was minding my own business." Another man had walked in front of me to check his mailbox, turns around and walks up to Rob and aks him a question. He literally reaches over the customer asking him the question to start yelling at me again. He said "it's not my fault you waited until the last day to do your returns!" First of all, I didn't wait until the last day, that is absolutely none of his business if I did and completely irrelevant to what was going on. As he is continuing to yell at me I keep explaining that I don't know why he is yelling at me and that no wonder this store is constantly being talked about on Facebook with people having bad experiences. He says "you've been in here kicking boxes around my store so you know what, YOU NEED TO LEAVE, GET OUT OF MY STORE!" I said "Please give me your business card?" He said, he didn't have one and proceeded to yell at me to get out. I pulled my camera out and snapped a picture of him so I could get his name tag. I walked out and was literally shaking. I have never been yelled at like that publicly for absolutely nothing and I definitely have never been asked to leave a business. This employee was extremely aggressive towards me and his behavior was completely inappropriate. He asked me to move to the other line and I did. However, he couldn't stop raising his voice at me even when I moved to the other line. Again, I walked in to use the kiosk, like I prefer to do. Then I was going to go stand in the other line. Last time I checked, I am on my own time and if I want to stand in both lines and wait then it's MY TIME and I should not be screamed at in public for doing so. After speaking with some other people about what happened, a friend said she was in the store yesterday and Rob was yelling at an elderly woman the entire time she was in the store. This is 100% unacceptable. Since this store moved locations and is under new management with new employees it has been a horrible experience with everyone you speak to. People should not have to drive 15-30 miles to another store so they are not yelled at or treated poorly. I hope that the owner takes this into consideration and handles accordingly. read more

Terrible customer service. I placed an order to have 25 flyers made on Saturday. They were time sensitive as they were to advertise an event this weekend. They were supposed to have been done that day. My colleague went to pick them up Saturday evening and was told that "the person who can print them won't be in until Tuesday". That was mind-blowing...how can they have no one on staff who can print freaking flyers?!?! And why did no one contact me to tell me about the delay? I tried to call no less than five times during business hours and no one answered my call. Fast forward to Tuesday, my colleague went back. The flyers STILL had not been printed. I had to call them three times before anyone picked up the phone. Then, the lady that answered was completely unapologetic. No effort was made to make the situation right, complete my order, or keep my business. I canceled my order. I absolutely WILL NOT do business here again and absolutely CANNOT recommend ANY of their services. read more

They were rude and no help. They found it amusing to toy with me not being able to send the box. I know finding workers seems to be hard but hiring people woth littlr brain cells on how to help a customer or empathy was absent from these low level jerks. Thankfully a sweet ups driver on the highway took my package to return. Amazon should rethink their partnership with this poor excuse of a store. read more

I'm slow at technology, and have never been treated so cruelly or inhumanely as I was today when I visited the store at 1159 Volunteer Parkway in Bristol, TN. The CSR's name was 'Austin'. He insisted on having me do the 'print and package your own' and I accidentally printed my label without knowing it, which he grabbed, hastily wrapped around the plastic, did not print a receipt, and walked off, then subsequently told me he was being courteous to me, and I should do likewise. A second employee attempted to help explain that my label was okay after I finally got my code up on my phone, but he also walked away...and Austin continued to make commentary in front of other customers. I told him I would have him nailed (a figure of speech), whereupon he told me not to threaten him, I could leave and never come back, said "that works 'left,right,left,right'" while customers laughed. He had no problem helping others, but for some reason, just didn't want to help me. I'm sorry if I'm not high-tech and happy enough, but this boy is downright mean and should not be working with the public at all. He obviously has an extreme problem with older women. I won't be going back to that store ever again. By the way, I'm 73. Writing this e-mail is my way of 'nailing', or reporting, this disrespectful individual. Give him a prize for being a bad human. They are tremendously helpful, and have helped me several times to perfect various printed items that I was unable to do myself. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were 3 in line and they opened a second line to get to us sooner. She was very through and didn't skim over my inventory of items for her data entry.
