The Best! After having two men's suits ruined by a dry cleaner in the town about 14 miles north of…read moreBristol, we found Compton's in Bristol on Yelp. I took one suit to them as a test. It came back in perfect condition, spot removed, perfectly pressed, and hung on form-shaping hangers. Even the lapels of the suit jacket were perfectly rounded (a challenging task). They even attached a nice "Welcome" card thanking us for coming to Comptons. Having had good results with one suit, we took another, and the results were the same. Perfect. They have earned all of my future dry cleaning business! They are more expensive than the one we had used for several years but worth every penny! Note that their business hours are only Monday to Thursday, 7am to 6pm. Closed Friday-Sunday.

I cannot say enough good things about this wash and fold company. Amy took on over 200 pounds of…read morelaundry for a family who has been struggling with hoarding and overwhelming life circumstances--and they did it with kindness, patience, and zero judgment. From the very first interaction, they centered the family as people, not a problem. They were compassionate, discreet, and deeply respectful of a situation that could have easily felt embarrassing or overwhelming. Every single item came back clean, fresh, neatly folded, and handled with care--but what mattered even more was how they showed up: calm, understanding, and genuinely kind. This wasn't just a laundry service; it was a moment of real support during a hard chapter for good people we were thankfully able to help. Their work helped restore dignity and created breathing room when things felt impossible. If you are dealing with an unusually large load, a sensitive situation, or just need help without judgment, this is the company you want. I am endlessly grateful for their professionalism and their humanity. Highly, highly recommend.
