I've been to this UPS location several times. My experience has always been positive. Except the One Time. When there system was down. These things happen. No one at fault at this location. It was a Systems thing. If your polite to them. They'll be polite with you. Treat people the way you want to be treated. These young people are trying to make a living. Some of you folks. I am not genuinely fond of UPS stores as you tend to get attitude for various things making going just not fun. Moved to winder recently so came to this location actually a good bit from my house to get a notary on a couple things I think what was nice. I clearly had a handful of documents in my hand, not a box so they had to know i need something motorized. The Notary girl here was set up in the corner multitasking. Had a pen, her stamp, all ready and and asked how she could help me . I of course had my stuff in order , organized ( do this people to spare the person behind you from watching you get your act together. I got these done, copied and paid in less than 5 minutes while there was a line out the door for people that weren't ready to go! The girl then went directly to the next person to help and was nice, professional, knew what needed to be done. I like that!! 5 stars and I'm coming here even though is not the closest! I came in to get some things mailed. I asked the gentleman for a padded express envelope and he says we only have the padded envelopes there (pointed to the Manila ones that you have to pay for) and the express envelopes that are not padded. I said no, I didn't want to have to pay for the envelopes over there. First of all, how does an actual UPS store not carry them?? Second, it wasn't like they were out of stock. He said "I don't think we make them anymore..." So either he wasn't properly trained, or he just didn't know. Either way, I am giving the two stars because these places should carry them? To say they are a second-rate organization would be an insult to second-rate organization. Lost my package. No big deal. Make it right and we can both go our separate ways. Mind you, this package had tax documents, social security numbers, bank records, general things you send to an accountant. They offered to pay me $100. Yes $100. It cost me 5 times that to have a company monitor my credit and freeze my account numbers. Not to mention what I had to pay my accountant to expedite my taxes to keep from incurring penalties. Of the 15 times I've spoke to them, I initiated the call 14 times. Only once has a phone call been returned. The owner Tim is a complete joke as is his manager (her name escapes me). Wow, this place doesn't not deserve a low rating at all. We've only been going there 6 months since we moved here but being a small business we have dealt with the whole spectrum. The folks at this location have always taken great care of us and even helped significantly on international shipments that had issues, of which were not even remotely their fault. When I asked for a UPS envelope to ship something for which I already had a return label, the older gentleman directed me to a shelf of shipping supplies that you have to purchase. I asked why do I need to purchase an envelope from you when UPS supplies you with them. His reply, "they do not necessarily supply them". I felt he was trying to get me to purchase the envelope because he would not be making any money on the shipping since it was prepaid. Needless to say, I went to Office Depot and they were happy to provide a UPS envelope at no charge. read more
