I the experience of working with manager Alyssa Seales on July 7, at the Bellevue location. She went above and beyond to help me. I had a predicament where a gallery lost my return shipping label, after sending them a work of art for a show. She helped me print a new label, which was a very long process. I could not have done it without her help. She really cared about ensuring that my shipment was received. I've used this UPS Store for several Amazon returns. The last three times I've been helped by the same employee. The first time he said, " let me guess you have a return?" And then proceeds to be very abrupt about scanning the code and taking the item. He even tosses the item onto another counter. This last time, after tossing the previous customer's return on the counter behind him, he says " just the one return?" without looking up. He scans the code and says have a nice day. Meanwhile I am still holding out the item I need to return. So I just set it on the counter. Not sure if he is against taking Amazon returns or if he just does not like his job. I'd say he was having a bad day but this has been a few times over the last few weeks. read more

I have used this location more than once. On one occasion, I needed a few PDF files on a memory stick printed out fairly quickly. Far more than I felt in the best use of my time and printer capacity. They got the hundreds of pages done inside 24 hours despite a heavy work load on the books already. They gave me a very fair price and allowed me to pay by credit card. More recently, I had an oversize death certificate. They were able to make photo copies in legal and reduced to standard printing paper sizes. Then they sent a fax for me with the reduced size since we have no way of knowing what size the fax to a toll free phone number would be processed at the destination bank in St Louis. The total cost was only $3.24. They charged $2.00 for the first fax page and $1.00 for the second page plus tax. I have previously taken UPS package returns with prepaid labels to this location. I was able to arrange tracking in my cell phone so that I knew when the package arrived at the other end. On the rare time that I did not want a package delivered to my home, I was able to have UPS deliver to this location where I picked it up within a couple of days. read more

I needed to print 6 spiral bound color booklets on Thursday, little did I know they closed at 630pm. I looked at 6:03pm and found out. I emailed the store's address, and hoping my car. I got there a 6:10pm, there was a little line and when got to be my turn, Caleb, who was very friendly, said it's almost closing time. I said I can wait till all the people are done with packages and he said yes! So then at 6:30 Caleb, who is a polite, customer service oriented employee, and I finished the job! Thank you Caleb! On February 14 I filed a claim with UPS via the store in Bellevue. I had a custom made ceramic hawk bank made for my newborn nephew in California. Since it was a special piece for a special occasion, I figured I would let expert packers pack and ship it to California. My reasoning was, it's what they do, so they can probably do it better than I can. Unfortunately the piece arrived broken. So I filed a claim on February 14. No one has ever contacted me, and I have called or visited the store several times. The manager was not very helpful, and somewhat surly. Employees have told me that their store in Bellevue has done everything that they can and it's on UPS now. The manager said they have a lot of claims, which does not bode well. It's very hard to believe that it's taking so long to get this settled. I will be contacting the main office customer service to try to move this along. read more

My wife went in here and asked for Christmas stamps for our cards this year, and "Mike," along with some older lady, decided to say "Oh, it's a little late for Christmas cards, don't you think?" Who the F* do you think you are? The Christmas police? Keep your comments to yourself when you don't know what other people are going through. Cards are meant to let people know you're thinking about them. If you care more about WHEN you get a card, then you've got issues. Anyway I called this store to simply say to "Mike" that he should keep his thoughts to himself. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. He responded with "We're not USPS, don't care." Alright then, I don't care to come here anymore. The lines are always ridiculous and your employees are slower than molasses anyways. read more

When I first came to this location to mail out a package, I actually wasn't aware this location even existed. Over the past year, I have shipped many packages for my e-commerce business and have always had a good experience. I've shipped pools, desks, dozens of boxes, you name it. I've built good relations with the employees there. It has actually sparked a little ongoing joke of "Oh boy, what's he shipping out today?" Came to this location today to mail off multiple packages, since I know for sure this location is open on Sundays. Unfortunately I arrived at 11:30am not knowing they don't open until 12pm. No problem, I needed to pick up a couple items from a nearby store, so I left. I returned at 12:03pm. Still not open. Maybe the employee is late? No problem, I'll wait a bit. Tried to call, maybe the business phone is forwarded to the owners private phone or maybe they have an outgoing message saying there will be a change of hours due to the holiday weekend, because there certainly I'm not a note posted saying as such. The UPS store here is your friendly neighbor. I used to have a mailbox at a UPS store, and they are very good at receiving packages when you're not available. Most days recently, I'm usually found here dropping off my Amazon returns. It's so convenient to have this option. Back in CA you can also drop off your Comcast Xfinity equipment, and the package and return it all. Today Prashansha helped me, and she was very polite and professional. I normally have rolls and rolls of packing tape, though today I did not. Prashansha was kind to tape my box and give me a receipt. Thanks!!! read more

For regular shipping and everything I would give 4 stars. I never really have any problems. For actual printing, they were 1 star on my latest trip. It took close to an hour to print off my 10 pages. All I wanted to do was print some invitations off on cardstock. This should have been an easy, in and out task. The person helping me was very nice but I don't think he was very experienced. Instead of just printing off my invitation on the cardstock he was trying to print to regular paper then copy the paper on to cardstock. This obviously distorted the colors and the image. It was a very frustrating experience. Next time I am just going to go to the store and find my own cardstock. What I thought would save me time, took me a lot longer in the long run. read more

She copied all my papers and found the best option for sending my documents. She taped it shut to ensure it didn't open during shipment. She was very helpful and pleasant. I am never using this UPS store ever again. They offer notary services which is really nice. Okay. Made an appointment for today online. Get to their store and the clerk lets us know that they don't have a notary in their office on the weekends. Why would you allow customers to be able to make an appointment to see a notary on Saturday but not have one available??? The clerk said that the manager was aware of the issue and it was something that has been an issue for "a while". Additionally, we tried to mail something out last Sunday, and we were unable to pay for postage because their entire system was down for the entire time their store was open for the day. Like how. Worst customer service experience ever. Ordered my product online last Friday and came in today (Monday) to pick it up. Only one person working at the time. I gave the associate my order number and she didn't even bother to look at it. She said our store doesn't have an order number. She all very frustrated looking through my order online. She asked if it was for this location. I showed her my order and ensure her it was this location. She kept mumbling about how stupid it was about my order and called the franchise owner. They told me to come back at 4pm and I needed my order right then. Didn't offer me any resolutions I suggested if I can print the documents on the computer. The owner did that's an option. The associate was very rude the whole time to me and said she can't deal with me right now and all I wanted was my documents. After she talked to her owner and finally try to be somewhat helpful. Never in my 37 years I have experienced with this horrible customer service. Franchise owner myself will suggest the owner hires someone helpful and friendly. What a rip-off joint! Stay clear of this one. My wife recently lost her father and had a desk of his shipped to Arizona from this store. She arranged to have a friend deliver the desk to this UPS store to be shipped. The desk dimensions are 45x26x30. Granted, it's large to be shipping but it only weighs 50-60 pounds. It has only a small pencil drawer, no other drawers. It's more like a table than a desk. The manager told her it would have to be placed on a full pallet and the cost was over $1000 dollars. Since she had a friend deliver it, she did not want to inconvenience the friend by asking her to take it back to her house and make other arrangements. She agreed to pay. While in transit, she tracked it online and noticed it was stated to weigh 250 pounds. When it arrived, it was not on a pallet but simply wrapped in cardboard with a few pieces of Styrofoam packing under it and around it. It fortunately arrived in good condition, but we wonder how much of the $1000+ did this manager stick in his pocket and walk off with? read more
