I've been to the location probably 20x over the past year with zero issues. Service is always quick and professional. My only issue was when I tried to drop off a USPS parcel and that was obviously my error. This location has gone over a few internal remodels to better service its customers. I would give zero stars but it's not an option. No matter what time or day I visit this place they're always terrible customer service everybody's grouchy it's no good. Today I decided to write a review because I stopped in to deliver my one package that needed to be sent which was already labeled and ready to go. I walked in and there was only one customer ahead of me. There were two employees one male and one female. The female told me it'll just be a minute. Then the female went about stacking boxes and moving them from one pile to another. I stood and waited and another man brought in a pushcart full of packages and she proceeded to help him immediately, stopped stacking boxes and helped him right away, completely ignoring me. I return all my Amazon here because the location is ideal, but the staff are awesome as well. They are always trying their best to operate at maximum efficiency, especially the manager. This is a very busy location and I rarely have to wait. I would not ship anything from this location make rules and shift on the fly .. I have used this store for several years with multiple things . Both company related and personal ... never once been told oh it has to be in one of our boxes .. Can't be in product box then started saying oh well Amazon fines us if in product box .. Nickel and dime. Paying for a packing overpriced tape dispenser because you guys don't use one piece of tape on prepaid labels ? You got the business, what does it matter if it's prepaid. It's business with you and yet you made that dumbass rule to charge and take advantage of people who need to ship who don't need a whole thing of tape and if we did we couple buy it half price elsewhere. A lot of other UPS stores don't have a problem and have the thing called customer service skills. It's utter bullshit and writing back to this review won't change anything. Your sorrys mean nothing. I love having this place right down the street! I wish more people understood that they are the waiter and not the chef as it pertains to UPS. They can't be responsible for what happens once the driver picks up your box. They can help you file a claim but if it sucks, go directly to UPS. It's their process not the small store. Also if you want to ship a box, taping it is part of your job. If you want services, be prepared to pay for them. They have always been helpful to me in this store. Thank you! read more

I have tried to give this place multiple chances and they never get out of their own way!! Most recently went there to get 5 small boxes boxed to be shipped, the box cost $5 and they wanted to charge me $13 to put my boxes in the box and tape it. There was no room to put anything else in box so they tried to charge me $13 for 2 pieces of tape to close the box. When i questioned she was as rude as she could be!! read more

This is the worst UPS Store that I have ever been to. They made it very clear to me that they are doing me a huge favor by doing business with me. I went there to drop of several Amazon returns. Very disappointed in the cost to send a fax to a toll free number. Two 9 page faxes to the same number cost $20.00! That is $2.00 for the cover sheet and $1.00 for each additional page. Unfortunately I did not see any fees posted and made the mistake of not asking. I was trying to support a small business but there are cheaper places from which to send a fax. I do not think I will be patronizing this store any longer and I recommend that the fees be posted in a conspicuous place. It feels a bit like you are trying to hide them, even if you aren't. My husband and I went to the Agora Drive Bel Air, MD UPS store on June 26, 2020 at 4:30 pm. We had to return a car part to the Company we purchased from. We had a return label from the Company, When we received this item it arrived by UPS with no box, plastic and any covering. It just had a plastic label attached. So, we were sending back the same way. First, the owner said it had to be boxed. When we explained that that was the way we received it she said fine. Then she said the shipping label was for 10 pounds and it weighed 35. So, we said we would pay the remainder of the shipping. She said, fine, but I have to box it and that's an additional charge. So, if we had a label that was for 35 pounds it would have gone no problem. But, she changed the rules when we were paying for the shipping. Plus, during this whole transaction she was arrogant and rude. We told her not to bother we would just take it back and get the correct shipping label. We also mentioned to her that she did everything in her power to make things difficult. When we left we told her that and she said "you're welcome" in a rude tone. So much for the customer is always right and service with a smile. Our last trip to this store!!! read more

UPS delivered my package and the box was severely damaged leaving the contents of the package exposed. I had paid $50 to have it shipped and didn't think I should have to pay for a package arriving like that so I filed a complaint. UPS instructed me to bring it to the local UPS store to ship it back. I called my friend to help me with the package because of its size and weight. She helped me load it in my car and came with me to the UPS store. The store employees were very rude and told me that they could not take the package as it was. I explained that it was exactly as UPS left it. Instead of demonstrating good customer service and taping the box up for me and taking care of it the employees wanted nothing to do with the mess. "They are a franchise and don't have anything to do with UPS deliveries". I will NEVER step foot in that store again. If I were the owner of the UPS store I would have taped the box even though it wasn't my problem in hopes that helping would get me a new customer and spread word of mouth. No love here. We were not guaranteed any liability against damage by UPS. So, we went to FEDEX just down the street. FEDEX was so more professional and quick, and gave us full insurance against any damages. Owners a bit unfriendly too. We paid just the same for FEDEX Ground and will be delivered by Christmas too! The tl;dr version: Below is my account of dealing with a package that UPS damaged and filing a claim. No matter how nice the store employees are, the claims process is obtuse and not customer friendly. They will do everything to pay as little as possible or get out of the claim altogether, and paying for insurance to them means nothing. Because of this I will be without the computer that I use for work (a $1800 system) for over a month, and out of pocket for hundreds of dollars. Save money by going with a company that will actually take care of your packages and who can understand your situation should an issue arise. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's unfortunate that I have to give this one star, because my initial impression of this store was great. I was shipping a desktop computer across the country so I could continue working on my trip, and an employee there assured me that they knew how to pack these systems carefully and that since I had $1800 worth of insurance my package would get special handling. Cut to a few days later across the country and the package is wrinkled, dented, and gouged all over. There is also a huge black skid mark on it as well as marks that show something heavy was sitting on it. Upon opening the package the front end was shattered, the top and sides dented/scratched, and various internal components were twisted and bent. Submitting a claim was overly difficult, having to send 6 separate emails to get all the pictures they required under their file size limit. It took two days for the claim to process, and they admitted fault on their end. I was happy for a brief time, thinking I would get a timely replacement because I needed this system for the trip itself (a month long). I was told I couldn't repair it myself (I had built it) and that I needed a third party estimate. Then they would need to make a ruling on that estimate, and once that had been done it would take 7-10 business days to mail a check. The repairs itself would need funds up front, and another 7-10 days to order parts. Altogether I would be lucky to have the system back before I had to return home, and ship it again. The store owner also said that depending on the size of the estimate that UPS may dispute it and want a vendor they prefer to look at it, again delaying the repairs for a system I use for work. I asked corporate what was the point of paying for insurance and declaring a value if you aren't willing to pay for it, and why is your mistake my headache? I have not received an answer. read more

I drop packages off at this location frequently and have always received quick, friendly service. I will continue to use this location.

We had a slew of boxes to send to Germany. The staff were all very helpful and off the boxes went. Then all the boxes were returned to us. Turns out you can only send 16 oz. or less to an APO box for a retired service member. Unfortunately, none of the UPS employees knew that; too bad because it would have saved us several hundred dollars. That sucked. No offer was made to compensate us but perhaps that would not have been possible. The 3 stars come with what happened next. When I came back to resend, Paul and Josh were great. Now, the items had to be sent to a German address and the cost would have been many, many times the value of the items. We had to cut down. A lot. After talking with the recipient, the unpacking and re-packing commenced. There were boxes everywhere. As in, all over the top and blocking the counter. Other customers continued to come in. One or other of the guys would take care of them then return to help with my project. Spending the extra time and lots of money was upsetting and frustrating, but the extra effort with the second shipment eased things. Now they know about the rule (I hope . . . ) and I will still continue to come here for pack and ship support. read more

A print order was submitted last Wednesday with the pick up time of the following day by 4pm. Went to pick up the order on Friday, a day after it was promised, only to find out that none of the employees read emails the previous two days to print. Returned to the store three times on Friday to pick up the order. It was not completed or ready for pick-up. I remained extremely patience during this entire process. Returned back on Saturday morning to pick up the order...finally! Assuming that they would OFFER a discount or partial refund of some sort for the multiple trips and inconvenience. They did not. I brought it to their attention for their employee to respond that they just lost four employees going back to college and that they are constantly accepting amazon returns. Not sure of the point of her rant. She also made note that I already utilized a coupon on this $175+ print order. So they will accept coupons as long as they are not held responsible for their carelessness? Hmmmmm. As I too am a business owner and understand that the operation must continue to run regardless of any circumstances. Left my name and number for the owner to call today. Never received a call. I am not sure I can say I am surprised. Will not use for future print orders. read more

Seriously...anyone who gave this store a good rating had to have been there on the one or two days a year they weren't rude or downright unprofessional. Their service is supposedly to pack and ship and ensure that your package contents arrive in good condition. I normally pack my own boxes, but in this case didn't have a small enough box to use. I came in with 2 bags of wrapped Christmas presents that were to be mailed to the same address. The store was not overly busy, i.e., no one else waiting in line and I asked them to pack the items while I was still there. The clerk acted like I had asked her to do something extraordinary. She proceeded to take my bags in the back and throw a hissy fit--waving arms, slamming boxes, etc. She and, I believe, the manager put the items in a box, no packing in the bottom, which I did not know at the time, and one folded sheet of bubble wrap on the top. The box was way too big. I'm guessing so that they could ensure they made extra money and so that my items could be damaged in shipping. While the clerk was finishing up the package, the manager came out to wait on another customer and then asked me if I was waiting to have my package finished. I said I was. She then said they were happy to provide the service. I said I could tell how "happy" they were when the clerk was publicly thowing her tantrum in the back and that I expected a little more professionalism from a "service" provider. While my items were not glass, I expected my package to arrive in good condition at its destination. When I called the recipient on the delivery date, they told me that every single package in the box had the wrapping paper ripped off and a large box which had been taped shut on all 4 sides was also popped open. This is pure lack of care, unprofessional and unacceptable. If you suck at customer service and packing boxes is beneath you, then you shouldn't be working in that business. I only wish I could find the name of the franchise owner because I can guarantee they will never see these comments. read more

I have huge concerns on the priorities of this store. There is no customer service for business cards. I remember from business school a long time ago when a business takes on too many things it will fail at some of them. There only concern is shipping in December. Read on and you will believe me. I was told that I could go to there "simple" business card website and once I explained that I had trouble using it they said they would research my email I sent several months ago and call me the next day. Well no calls, no emails, nothing. I called Monday morning and again I get the "we are doing packages" and she "thought someone reached out to me" I mentioned I had a busy day and I should call her back at 12. I had an appointment at 12 and asked if she could call me at 2pm. She didn't seem to care if I called or not and only wanted me to call her. I told her I would go to her competitor and to get back to your packages as that seems to be your Only focus. Will use UPS in the future but Never this location. She also seemed to be happy to talk down to me rather than talk business owner to business owner. read more
