I don't live in Bangor, but while I was visiting I needed to print, notarize, and scan some documents and who knew: you can do all of this at this handy little UPS store! Don't let the tiny little building and strip-mall location fool you; this place is one of the most efficient UPS stores I've been to anywhere. It may not be big inside and yes, there was a wait (I was there over the lunch hour too), but the staff was moving things along as efficiently as possible (multitasking, honestly) and getting it all done. Also, doing all of the above--including the notary seal--was under $20, which was amazing! read more

Yeah...no. I was able to cancel my pending Amazon orders after finding out about the false advertising and re-ordered to an alternate address. Will never use again. read more

I have been using the UPS store in Brunswick every time I have to return something I bought from Amazon and I feel like it was always a very easy transaction and no hassle at all as long as you have all the details you need to present to them. This will be the first time I am using this store since my daughter is asking me to drop her return to them and as always such an easy process.As soon as I enter the door someone greeted me with a smile . The place was well organized and can easily find what your looking for. There's an ample space for parking too. Well recommended if you are to do a return. I couldn't mention about the rest of their services because I never try it yet but I am pretty sure that they do a good service too. read more

Very small UPS store in a small parking lot shared with a web service company and a Uhaul drop off. They do not sell boxes for self-packing and charge an exorbitant fee if you ask them to pack a box for you (despite it only being a 1.5 lb box). Customer service was mediocre compared to the other UPS stores I frequented when moving to Bangor, so I was disappointed that small town customer service was less than that of a big city. Being so close to home, I would go back, but I would definitely spend the gas and money to find a box elsewhere first. read more

Curt. They're all curt. On woman was extremely rude. Tossed my ID I handed her and walked away without a word. The other told me on the phone that it would be best if I picked up my package ASAP because they have no room at the store. Got my package from them quickly though when I went to pick it up. Awful and will never ship from this store again. My package was 19 days late due to another UPS in another state shipping it all the way back to the original location, when I called to ask for a credit or refund due this issue, I was told to contact the claims department. From there, I was told multiple times the only way to get a refund is from this original location. The manager Gail did not seem sympathetic towards my situation nor did she bother to escalate to the owner of this location. There was one associate who actually took the time to listen and seemed to care, I don't recall her name but she was very sweet and understanding. The owner hasn't bothered to follow up with me regardless. VERY poor customer service and shady "guarantee policy". I shipped UPS Ground which is supposed to be 5 days ground shipping, I deserve a refund for getting my package 19 days later. read more

Went in to ship a few small items in the same box. Saw no supply of empty boxes, or anything else to facilitate a customer packing it themselves. Waited for one of the three clerks to be free so I could find out what needed to be done. When one finished with her customer I got not so much as a glance, while she puttered with something. As she eventually approached me she instead responded to an older man who had walked in, approached the counter and said, "I got a question!" I simply left, and will never return. One lost customer doesn't seem like much, but as I said in a letter mailed to the store, my father started a retail business in Maine, and provided customer service almost to a fault. Fifteen years later his customer service had leached so many customers away from a larger competitor 30 miles away that they bought him out; he retired. read more

Do not ship anything expensive that needs to arrive unbroken. If it breaks, you are NOT a UPS customer and will be sent through an endless cycle of loops and call backs and deflections to people who tell you "We can only deal with the store you are their customer". I had to initiate every call, even after being told "I'll call you back". I was told they needed information I had already provided two weeks prior and was just sitting in a duplicate file. I was told the claim was approved and we were waiting for a check, weeks later, I was told they couldn't inspect the package, then weeks later the package was also declined for insufficient packaging (it was shipped in the original factory shipping carton so you and I both know it's a lie simply to not cover the damages.) So at this point 4 months later I get to eat the cost of my $400 monitor. Worst shipping experience ever. Do not use this place for anything worth more than a dollar or two. read more

Awesome service! I went in to ship some frames and the ladies who helped me were wonderful and did a great job in packaging my items since they are fragile and breakable. From my 15 minutes there i could see that every employee there goes out of their way to help customers which is really awesome. The store was pretty busy today but I didn't feel rushed at all. read more

Save your self the time and worry by reaping UPS insurance for your goods by having them pack it. I brought in three packages that I ship from place to place for work. The first was in a cardboard box that had seen better days, so the lady at the counter insisted that it needed a new box, totally fair. The other two were in sturdy plastic latchable and lockable totes, both of which had been shipped over ten times each before. Nevertheless, these somehow were also not up to the exacting standard of the UPS store in Bangor. Again, they must also be put into a cardboard box, to which i consented because I no longer saw the value in debating the security of a lockable plastic tote against that of a cardboard box. The women was not only quite rude throughout the transaction, but also grabbed my arm at one point (non-aggressively) which I found wildly inappropriate. Today my packages arrived at my temporary residence and I find that not only are they packed in the cardboard boxes upside down, but also that the boxes have been filled with pink packing peanuts. These pink packing peanuts, which were not discussed at all during the aforementioned discussion on parcel security, are now all over everything in my current work residence. I travel for work, and live in a temporary residence that doesn't have a broom or vacuum, but only maid service. So now I get to either clean these items up by hand, or leave the for some other person with whom the responsibility doesn't lay. The presence of these packing peanuts is an indication that either the person at the counter placed them there due to a gross incompetence at their job, or more likely as a practical joke of sorts in retaliation for what she may have perceived as me being confrontational by simply disagreeing with her on the merits of the integrity of the existing packaging.
