The box this store used was literally a Wal-Mart box, made from the thinnest cardboard possible, not one of the sturdy ones that UPS sells. The items were loosely wrapped such that they rattled around in the box. Additionally, the box evidently burst open in transit, because it was taped closed very poorly. One piece was damaged. With the amount of damage the box sustained, it's a miracle it arrived with anything inside it at all. When the pieces were initially brought to them for packing and shipment, the clerk said something to the effect that they, "Couldn't do it right away - but next week." Their lack of enthusiasm was a big red flag. Worst UPS experience ever. Save yourself - there's a FedX store close by

Unfortunately I was tracking the cases and saw them suddenly delivered to a small town in South Dakota. My wife was able to get the phone number of the house they were delivered to. The homeowner stated that the day before, 3 cases were left on her patio. She was not at home during delivery. They were heavy enough that she was not able to bring them inside her home. I had the original receipt containing the tracking numbers and noticed that the wrong zip code was inserted. I called a number in Rapid City that turned out to be a FEDEX approved center. They were kind enough to give me an inside number to the regional FEDEX Center. I was so appreciative as before, whenever I called the number associated with the Regional Center it hooked me up with the National number. Once I called them, they requested I fill out a claim. It was very frustrating to me because I knew that filling out a claim and following it through endless hoops, it would take them weeks to just fill out a new shipping manifest. All I wanted was for them to pick up the cases and send them on their way. I knew that 3-4 days sitting on a porch unattended in a trailer park would result in their potential theft. Well, once I reached the actual Regional Center, They were able to retrieve the cases that day and get them sent to the correct address. So, Now I sit awaiting their arrival a week late. I am very disappointed.

A year ago, they stopped using the checkout lanes since they had no employees to man them. Now the staff of 3 have long lines for check out at the copy center desk. I believe the only thing keeping this store solvent, is the deal they have with UPS and Amazon to return packages. Listless, depressed employees must not be paid much. Management seems non existent. Wonder if Staples even knows what's going on there.
