Went in there to get something printed that was a specialty item way outside the norm that they or anyone usually does and they were able to not only provide the product but went above and beyond with the service. I often have to deliver items via the UPS store located in the Publix Food shopping center and this one is one of my favorites to visit. They are always friendly and helpful and take the time to do the little added extra things like open the door for you when you are entering and often when you're leaving. This location is great because you are able to run quite a few errands like go to the bank, the post office, get your groceries, and get something to eat as well. read more

They do not have the ability to scan your package and create a label like other UPS stores. As a result of this if you come without a label even though the shipper says they will make one for you, they will charge a four dollar convenience fee for one sheet of paper and 25 cents for the copy. This is outrageous. read more

Very simple - don't invite someone to sit down on a computer without informing them its $3.50 to use it for even a second. I had to pop in today to print a one-page email, and much to my surprise, I was told I have to pay $3.50 for using the computer. I came here a couple months ago and I can confidently say I was not charged that $3.50, so it looks like it's dealer's choice as to when they enforce that. There is a small Microsoft Word sign outlining the cost, so in fairness, I'll bump the review up by one star. However, don't smile in my face and invite me to use a computer and then surprise me with the cost after. Outline the cost up front if you're going to do that. read more

Ridiculously high prices for printing, they charge for computer time even if you don't use they're computer... asked how that is possible if I'm sending the page I need printed from my email to the ups stores email and was told that they would have to get on the computer to print from they're email. Which sounds kinda fishy, called several other UPS stores and they said that they can print page for .14 cents(B/W) .50cents(color). No computer charge... just for the printing.... Makes me wonder where the money is going that this particular store is charging for computer service that you are not even using?? read more

I always have a great experience here. Everyone is friendly and efficient. Jeffrey is especially so kind and helpful. I have previously had horrible experiences mailing things and traditionally dread going into any sort of mailing facility period (ahem USPS), but they just make it so easy that I never feel that way here. I use everything from quick drop-off to printing services to international mailing. I love that they save me a trip to the post office and I can mail certain USPS items. The staff is great and I'm never there for more than 5-10 max. Sometimes they have someone at the door to greet customers and take your pre-paid labeled packages from you at the door- you don't even have to step foot inside. They are also an Amazon return center in which you don't even have to package or print a label for your returns. Great place- easy, fast, convenient, friendly. read more

I had to drop off a couple returns from Amazon and decided to stop by a different ups store than usual. I had 1 box that did have a piece of tape on it and they wanted to charge me a $2 taping fee for 1 6 inch piece of tape. I told him per the return instructions I didn't have to have it in a box but I put it back in for convenience! He said the rates are on the door and there is a taping fee. I work from home and utilize the services of The UPS store a lot. I recently moved and found my new local UPS store for a recent mailing. The sales associate gave me attitude from the jump when I told her that I needed to get something boxed and shipped. She condescendingly said, "you're going to have to pay for us to box it." After Captain Obvious made a cameo, I told her "that's fine" with cool calmness. After realizing that I forgot to provide an item that I needed included in the package, she exclaimed, "don't do this to me today" and "I'm not looking for that package." I calmly let her have her fit and mentioned I'm never come back. She then amplified the attitude after finding my package and said that I was lucky. . Customer service could be way better. She was acting like the store doesn't get paid for every package they ship. read more

The staff has been friendly when I've gone, but my problem is with a problem with a lost/damaged package that was never resolved. I mailed an N-95 mask to my pregnant daughter to wear to fly to Atlanta (had mask before COVID) Mask was damaged and never arrived. I filled out a claim and weeks later manager told me claim was denied but she would follow up. I never heard from her. I know they can't replace the mask but they could have at least refunded the $12 I spent to mail it to her. Now I use FEDEX or the post office. read more

We recently purchased a mailbox from this USPS location. In addition to being in a convenient location, the address is not a P.O. Box; you receive an actual street address. The staff at the Howell Mill location is extremely accommodating & knowledgeable. The mailboxes themselves are accessible 24/7, unless you have a large package that doesn't fit in your mailbox. You then have to pickup your package during their normal business hours. You receive email notifications & reminders when packages arrive, which is extremely helpful... We enjoy handling business through the UPS Howell Mill location. Whether you're purchasing a mailbox, dropping off a package, making copies, etc... Took over 30 minutes to print 8 pictures. Female employees had no clue how to print pictures. Had to wait until a male co-worker came in to know how to work their computers. This process took entirely too long. The service was ok and they charge you for computer time to email prints from your phone. Internet is slow so my emails took longer to come in. My overall experience here was simply, terrible. Go to Office Depot or to a better location. Don't waste your time. read more

The location of this UPS store is very convenient. But you should know that this UPS store charges more than other UPS stores. Even the greeting cards are marked up more than the actual price on the back of the card. No other store does that! I've been to this UPS Store location a handful of times now, and each seems to be worse than the last. They seem to be perpetually training new employees who have no idea what they are doing. There is a manager standing against the wall behind the counter, but he/she doesn't step in until a good 10 minutes of your time have been wasted. Aside from that, I've had multiple experiences where the trainee left the tape measure on the scale, and would have overcharged me had I not pointed it out. That being said, the manager/seasoned employee usually sorts out everything in a timely manner. Sadly, this does not quell the initial aggravation. read more
