Here's a follow-up regarding being swindled $141.76 for a package of 9 papers - first I never did receive an invoice - but I did get a credit card charge. I'd still like to see how UPS arrived at $141.76. I talked to the UPS rep before the papers were shipped and specifically asked for the papers to be removed from their frames and mattes in order to use an envelope or thin box, rather than a large box. UPS removed the frames but did not remove the mattes, thus the box was humongous. I have since purchased antique papers from Florida and New Jersey - both further from California than Ohio and both were under $30.00. UPS needs to own up to this one and move on rather than make excuses. read more

I would not recommend this store or any UPS store to any human who wants something shipped. Please use anyone else. I was shipping some potato chips to a friend in another state who is originally from Ohio and wanted a special reminder of home for their birthday. There is only one way to package bags of chips. You put them in a box and tape the box shut. This is how all chip manufacturers send their chips places. When I went to ship them it was $75. Ridiculous price for something that hardly even weighs 4 pounds but fine whatever since it's for a friend birthday, I accepted the price to ensure he would get it in time. After the package was shipped it arrived beyond damaged. It looks like someone jumped up and down on the box until most of the bags exploded chips everywhere in the box. I tried to file a claim via the website which gives you the run around and states you must go through the account you shipped through? Which I just went to the store to ship it therefore no account. So I tried to make an account and it wouldn't work either. It stated you must go to the store. Went to the store and they needed to send someone out here (to Phoenix, Arizona) to verify the box of smashed chips was indeed smashed. They said it would take a few WEEKS. Who keeps stale chips open laying around their home for weeks waiting on someone to show up? Oh wait, no one ever showed up at all. Now that it has been over 3 to 4 weeks someone from the store we shipped through stated they refuse to cover the box because they did not package it. Your job is to ship items. Packaging is an extra service offered and I can guarantee they would not have packed bags of chips any different from me. The stores response is their "sister store" is who ships not them so they aren't responsible for anything in regards to shipping. Only packaging. But yet you can't make a claim through the "sister store." Considering most people are not that incapable of taping a box shut, I have no idea how you are still in business. Anytime I asked a question the employee gave me the same run around how if they don't package it is not their fault/problem. EVEN THOUGH I PAID $75 TO SHIP AN ITEM. Awful customer service. I shipped a package in March of 2020. I insured the package for $400, which was what I sold the piece for. The package was damaged in shipping. We contacted UPS and they picked it up from the seller. I am still fighting to get reimbursed. They misplaced my package after picking it up and no one will do anything about this. I continued to use them for months, just so I could find out the status of my reimbursement. I no longer give them my business. They have given me several excuses why they haven't been able to contact UPS. It is now almost ten months later and I am still waiting. Why offer insurance if it means nothing if the item is damaged in shipping? I am not only out the price of my piece but also the shipping. I wish I could give them lower than one star. read more

I use this location all the time! They make sure my Christmas and birthday packages get to Florida on time and safe and sound every year. Not to mention they are super helpful and friendly especially when I didn't have anything written down or ready for them. They let me borrow their tape and scissors and waited patiently for me to fulfill out my dads birthday card. Not sure why they had such bad reviews before but I saw the reviews and felt compelled to share my experiences. My son is about to go on an errand to overnight something to Florida and I'm sure he will have the same positive experiences I have had in the past! read more

I have shipped many items over the years and NEVER have had this happen. I had very old artwork that was large. Taking it back and forth in this weather was a risk. I need a quote for shipping for the buyer. I explained all to the staff there. It was for them to pack and ship. They figured it out on the computer based on the measurements. I was given a quote higher just in case. ( 170.00 ). Shipping, packing and insurance. Weight 30lbs. Passed this on to the buyer and took the artwork there for shipping. He looked at me and said 300.00 dollars. I almost fell over. Said she misquoted me and I can take it or leave it. He was standing next to this lady the entire time she was quoting me. I called the UPS office to wage a complaint, just so you all know these stores are independent and are free to pick a price. Lesson learned!!! read more

The staff are very friendly and have gotten to know me on a personal level, making each trip in to the store a delight to interact with them. Maybe the worst UPS in the country. The staff are not helpful and coming in to patronize their business really seems like a hassle.

I wish there was a no stars option. I took my father there to have a document notarized. First the notary guy had him sign the document. Then he asked my father to tell him his address my dad who is 70 years old and had a stroke could not remember his address. He told us that this was " fishy " and he would not notarize the document ( that my dad already signed ). I have never been treated this way and called a liar in my face. I will tell everyone I know tho stay as far as possible from that place. read more
