We have a promotion coming up, so I shot an email to Sign-A-Rama explaining what I needed, and when. (A 4-foot-by-2-foot "check" to be given as a donation to Goodwill on WKYC during a partnered donation drive we sponsor for them.) Sign-A-Rama had a proof emailed to me of the check within a day or two. They emailed me an invoice, and I forgot to respond with how I was going to pay. Because they know this project has a deadline, they called me to remind me about making my payment so they could begin production. I called to pay by phone, and we were finished! The check will be ready for pick up when I am in town next Friday. This is the 3rd year in a row we are using them for this oversized "check" for our partnership donation drive. We have been using Safety Sign company for 15 years.The company sent us some wrong labels even…read morethough we only use their order # that we have used all along. We only have 4 labels we use on our equipment. One of the orders was for Eye protection and half the order they sent was for Ear protection. We didn't catch it for a few weeks until we got half way through the stack. Who checks every label in a stack? They all look the same except for one word and its 3 letters long. They (or He) refuse to exchange the incorrect ones for the correct ones. He was very condescending. He said they don't take returns after 5 days. Even if its their mistake. There are lots of other sign companies out there. Shop carefully with this company. We are moving on after 15 years. We can get them elsewhere. I have never written anyone a bad review. This is the first one I thought needed it.

Earlier this week I was a in a pinch trying to find a local seller of two display stands that would…read morehold a couple 36"x72" vinyl banners. It was harder than I had expected. One place wanted to charge me $125 a stand, on-line solutions were almost as expensive. I came across Central Graphics during my google searching. Although it didn't look like they sold the stands I needed at retail, I thought they'd be a good place to stop by and ask about where I could find something. By this time I was down to less than 48 hours when I needed the stands for a trade show. (Yes, yes, bad planning on my part, I know) I stopped in at Central Graphics, unannounced having never been a customer of theirs and not knowing anyone there personally. The receptionist called Managing Director, Jeff Loofboro, over to help me. I explained to him the predicament I was in and asked if I could buy a stand from him or if he knew where I could get one. Jeff stopped what he was doing and starting looking around the store. After about 15 minutes he found a slightly broken and used stand back in their production area that seemed like it would work. I offered to rent it from him but he said I could take it for free and just bring it back after the trade show. I did so and it worked out great, even being a bit beat up. Yesterday, I returned the stand to Jeff and offered to buy it from him. Since it was used, slightly damaged, and not something they needed; he gave it to me without charge. I don't know Jeff or anyone at Central Graphics. I've never been a customer of theirs. I'm in the process though of starting up a small business in the area. And simply based on the stellar service CG offered to a stranger walking in off the streets, I intend to become a customer of theirs as soon as possible.

This location is easy to access with a parking lot right out front. I recommend bringing your project in on a flash drive in a number of formats in case you need to make changes. You can also upload your file in advance if it's really large. If you're working on behalf of an organization, be sure to bring your tax exempt paperwork or ask if they have it on file already. I'm sure I'll be back soon as this is a great and friendly attentive to FedEx Office and other online printing options.

Fast Signs took on the task of vinyl lettering two six ft. mirrors for my daughter's wedding recently. We asked them to put over 200 names on the mirrors to show guests their table numbers and they came through with flying colors! The mirrors were a hot topic at the reception and we were able to seat all guests in just a few minutes!
