So I ordered an iPhone 14 pro max from Verizon. (2 day shipping) by Friday when it was supposed to be delivered, they updated the delivery time twice. The first being between 12pm -3pm.. by 2 pm it was updated again saying it will be delivered by 7pm.. around 6pm I get an email saying an attempt was made.. I was off work that day so I know no one tried to deliver. I gave the benefit of the doubt and decided to pay the $5.99 fee to hold it at the facility on 6505 quad Ave, 21205. So I waited until Munday to pick it up. Got to the facility around 10am. Picked my box up, and thought (this feels light) as I'm going out the door I was so excited I started to open the box before getting to my car. I looked at the box and it looked like someone untapped the box and rolled the same tape back on, opened the box and it's only my apple watch which I ordered as well. Took the box back and spoke with the same clerk who told me the manager that deals with theft isn't in and he can only mark the package damaged. And then says "it's crazy that they took the phone and left the watch" and says they have an issue there with employees stealing. In a business to insure that you are not liable for things like theft why wouldn't you take precautions to stop it. There are too many bad reviews saying the same thing, it's bad for business, and frustrating to customers. And don't tell me it's nothing ups can do about it. Because there's a lot you can do.. it's called laziness and Unempathetic to the people you serve. If I didn't have to I would never use UPS. But I can't control where I buy things and who they ship with but I do know myself, I will never use UPS as a shipper. Terrible customer service, terrible driver service. Ups is horrible as it comes. This center tries to be better but the company just sucks. I have a video of the driver not even trying to deliver a package so you'd have to pick it up here. I'm sure it's faster that way for them! How about charging less if I'm going to you guys instead of the other way around? Maybe I should've just picked it up from the store in VA instead. 9:30 this morning a UPS driver brings a package to 3// G--- st. I was in the middle of something but I answer the door. Driver was rude. Says will you sign for this. We were expecting a package, so when he said "your last name?" I tell him he says sign here. I put it in the house finish what I was doing. When we open it later it was food. I then check the label and see it was supposed to go to 3// F----- st. I call Quad ave Customer center about 11:15. After I try to explain to the person on the phone she puts on her supervisor who apologizes and says a driver will pick it up soon. Of course nobody did. Had to call back about 8:15 pm. This person is trying to put me through the ringer. A driver happens to be delivering something across the street. I go out and get him to take this opened large opened box of food. He was nice. Bottom line no one at Quad ave cared about the customer that was supposed to get the package. Suppose this was somebody's medicine or something. It was food. I hope whatever my son ordered is not shipped by Ups. Who knows where it will end up? I will try never to Use them if this is the way they treat people and their orders. Worst operating center ever. Not only do they continuedly to lose my packages but they also just leave it at the station for a week straight because people so-called just forgot to put it on a truck, yeah and by Monday you will say it's lost. I mean seriously UPS is the worst delivery service in America. You should use just the plan postal service and you will get your package before UPS. Also, their drivers are so lazy they don't get signatures and they will just leave your packages down at the mailbox instead of walking up legit 5 steps. read more

The photo of the woman I posted was the woman who greeted me at the quad avenue location she was very rude and extremely dismissive leaning on the register and sucking her teeth. Not only that but after receiving a call at 6 telling me my package would arrive at 8-830 I was then informed my package wouldn't arrive until the next day I love amazon prime but I won't be using the service anymore if I'm forced to receive the packages through ups! I hate UPS w every fiber of my being. My package was take to quad ave 25 miles from my home and they aren't open in Saturdays. Made no attempt to deliver after 5pm only while at work ignore notes to leave w neighbor and are rude beyond belief. They have access points on harford county but don't care how far I have to drive. Waste money w delivery attempts so think I'll let you try 3 more times until you get smarter read more

My issue is when I drive 15 mins to get here and the only thing I'm greeted with is a yellow sign that says "I'll be back, helping another customer, thanks for your patience". But there are no other customers inside. So I wait for 8 minutes and no one ever comes. Then I attempt to place the package in the drop off box outside and the box is so full I would able to stick my hand inside and take at least two packages. It's 2pm, no customer service available and your alternate option is not available either. This location sucks! read more

I created this Yelp account just so I could write this review. I am writing this review for UPS and this location. My mother recently had to have neurosurgery and we ordered wigs for her through a website that uses UPS. The delivery was delayed by one day because of a "mechanical error" and then the next day they did not deliver it because they had no apartment number listed (we live in an apartment complex). So I went online and requested same day pick up. I call UPS and they have the location listed call me. The woman told me that they do not do same day pickup because it is a "corporate rule". Despite the fact that their website allowed me to actually have that done. The woman was rude and dismissive. I even offered to change the shipping and pay extra to have it delivered the same day. I then tried calling customer service who asked for the shipper to call them. In the meantime I tried to change the delivery to a different UPS address so I could pick it up. I also had the shipper call them and they told them that there was a hold on the account and that I had to call them and release the hold. I call them to have that done and basically the lady tells me that there is nothing to be done, that it was my fault that there was no apartment number and that I had to wait until Monday. I told her that they should take responsibility for the fact that their website allowed me to have a same day pickup request placed. She reiterated that this happened because there was no apartment number. She also reported that she could not make any changes on her end, not even to add the apartment number to the address and that I had to do it. The system would not let me access anything at that point. I continued to explain that I did not have access to that but it felt like she was not hearing me and kept telling me that I had to do it. This is the worst experience that I have ever had especially considering that I paid extra to have them delivered in a timely manner for my ill mother who has to deal with the fact that she recently lost all of her hair due to an emergency surgery. There was literally no empathy from anyone on the phone. No one tried to help me get the package. I understand that mistakes occur but when it is YOUR MISTAKE and YOUR WEBSITE that created the debacle you should take responsibility for it and attempt to assist the customer. read more

THIS UPS CC IS TRASH. So apparently I was suppose to receive my package yesterday by 9pm. I even had the option to follow the ups driver live and HE WAS IN MY AREA. IN FACT HE WAS VERY CLOSE TO MY HOME. For whatever reason he didn't make it to me and in the details of the shipment progress, it said something about the package is missing. WTF? Very strange. So today I look at the progress and it says the package will be delayed by 1 business day. I figured maybe actually picking up this package would be less complicated and would speed the process up bc this is something I NEED TODAY. I don't trust the drivers and this fricking place is CLOSED on the weekend!! To add insult to injury I can't get in touch with a live agent so now I'm stuck playing the waiting game. UPS IS NOW ON MY CRAP LIST ALONG WITH FEDEX. I really hate ordering from these stupid companies bc I ALWAYS end up having a terrible experience with them read more

This is the very worst of the worst they lie they steal they lost my Mother's Day gift for my mom which lives in the same city how can you lose a package the day of delivery which was only one day they destroyed my moms special day they will not refund all the money you spent on the most biggest holiday of the year and they lost my gift for my mom so upset and had to spend more money to get another gift pass it on never use stamples shipping they use ups as the delivery people they are worthless remember other big holidays are coming if you want it to be delivered to the correct address and person because they have in the past left package at other addresses I quess they can't read but they not even worth one star that would be too good I will be using amazon or fed ex for the rest of my life !!!!!
