Non-existent customer service. Bought a pair of waterproof hiking shoes. They felt fine in the store when I tried them on. Asked the saleslady if they would cause blisters if worn without socks - she emphatically said they wouldn't. I wore them on a hike that day, and lo and behold, I not only got a blister but they also cut into the side of my foot. I cleaned and polished the shoe to the point where it looks brand new, took it back to the store literally 2 days after buying, and they wouldn't take it back. I understand it's been worn but only once, and now I'm stuck with a $100+ shoe that I'll never wear again. read more

Amazing customer service here (see my previous review with their Pearlridge location where the employees have non existent customer service skills as well as their being nice fake customer service skills). When we first entered the store, the employee greeted us and asked if we had any questions. We said we were looking for inserts for our shoes and she proceeded to ask us we wanted to do the foot assessment. After the assessment, She proceeded to give us all the options for us to try in store. She was very helpful and acknowledgeable for what was needed. She recommended to choose whatever felt most comfortable since it'll be an investment. After doing this, we needed new slippers due to foot issues. She again went above and beyond by pulling several recommendations off the wall like she did previously with the inserts. She even explained that if they didn't have the size we wanted, she could check their other store locations and have it shipped to the store for pick up. If you ever need some foot care, I'd recommend this location (as well as the Kaneohe one) versus to the poor non existent customer service skills Pearlridge location. read more

Love the shoes and the prices are reasonable, especially when on sale. Clean store and helpful employees. I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon on 7/7/22. I was looking for walking shoes. Brian who was working the day that I visited had exceptional customer service as he helped me choose my walking shoes. First, he measured both my feet and asked questions. Then we went to a computerized foot screening machine that is a 3D digital foot analysis device which accurately measures your feet. Then he brought out two brands of shoes, Brooks and Hoka, in three different styles and colors of shoes. I tried all three on, and walked around the store. I finally, chose the style and shoes that fit me best. Thus, if you are in need of good walking shoes, I highly recommend "The Ultimate Foot Store". Anyone else have issues with UFS slippers shrinking? I had a pair of slides that literally shrank from size 13 to probably a 8 so small I can't get my foot on it anymore? A worker at Windward store matter of factly told me, oh yah you need to keep it out of the sun. I'm not sure that's a superior product, if it shrinks with exposure to sun. I now have 2 pairs that have shrunk. All the time I was thinking my feet were swollen. I hope this defective composition was addressed and they can make me a happy camper again. read more

Good shoes MATTER! If your feet aren't happy...NO one is happy and that is the truth! Ask any tourist who tries to break in brand new shoes on a trip! Or, ask anyone with foot pain if shoes matter. My feet have been extremely unhappy for over a year now. And the ability to wear cute flats / sandals or strappy high heels has been a moot issue for the past 7 years. However, when your feet hurt in athletic gym shoes - it's time for a change. I've basically been nursing plantar fasciitis for over a year and have had several injections done already to the affected part. I've had successful injections but I am afraid that I've already met the quota for the number of times in a single year for an injection. I do not want surgery and the most conservative approach at this time is to change my shoes. Liane at The Ultimate Foot Store was awesome!! She walked us through the foot scan, made suggestions as far as what kind of orthotics to use in combination to the shoes I was already wearing. I was shopping for a shoe that was highly recommended by friends that are on their feet all day and I knew TUFS had it. Basically, Liane walked me through the selection process and helped me narrow down my choices taking in to account the issues I was having with my feet. SUPERB customer service (Dr. G. Morris, if you are reading this: give this woman a raise and a monthly manicure )!!! Coincidentally she was able to share her experience with plantar fasciitis because she had the same condition and had to have it surgically treated to relieve the pain. I ended up with a pair of HOKA shoes as well as orthotic inserts that are life changing!! It won't completely rid me of my pain but while I'm rocking these kicks my babies will be cradled in Recaro-like support!! Came in to get inserts for my high school sons shoes. He has flat feet so i needed some advice on what to get. Went 2 times: first time was on a wed or thurs. and was greeted by Nicole who was very friendly and helpful. She took a foot scan of my sons feet and then proceeded to suggest a few options. We didnt have shoes with us at the time plus i noticed a sign saying they offer military discount on mondays so i decided to come back the following monday. We go back on the following monday to be greeted again by Nicole. She was very accommodating & patient with us especially because we tried a few different inserts in my boys shoes. Ho have I not written a review yet?! Well let me fix that now! I was originally turned on to The Ultimate Foot Store before Ka Makana Ali'i opened, after a visit with its founder, Dr. Greg Morris. I actually went to their Hawaii Kai location first but was so ecstatic to hear when they were opening a location in Kapolei! Okay, so best place to park would be by 'Olino or CPK. Their store is just down the "alley" from 'Olino. You walk in and are immediately greeted. I have never seen more than one employee, but that hasn't affected their impeccable customer service. Soooo many orthodics and shoes I want to buy to help my plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and bone spurs. I guess I'm "adulting" - getting excited about a foot store So many brands to choose from including Oofos, Vionic, Olukai, Hoka, etc. In addition, they have many remedies for your feet like rollers, creams, inserts, stretch bands, you name it. The employees are very good at determining your orthotic needs. On the plus side, they offer military, senior, and medical professional discounts - just be sure to bring your ID for military/senior and your badge for medical. This place is amazing! I love this store, and my whole family shops here; my siblings, parents and husband. Growing up in Hawaii, you run around barefoot or wear cheap rubber slippers, but when the serious pain starts, you have to switch to good quality shoes. I've bought multiple pairs of Oefos for wearing in the house and another pair for outside. When I went to Europe, I bought another brand that I can't remember, but was able to walk 10 miles a day in them with no problem. 1-star because the place smells so good with the diffuser they use! "Hawai'i's largest selection..." Is far from the truth. I wasted my time twice in the past two weeks by coming here. The first was to get a pair of Hoka Recovery's but all they had was the display model/no stock. I ended up with a pair of Oofos which are fine but not what I came for. Came again this week for some Hoka shoes. Again, all they had was the display model/no stock (Clifton's, Bondi's, etc.). I give up on them. Maybe others have as well since both times I've been there, I was the only customer. read more

My mom was having foot pain so her physical therapist recommended for her to buy shoes from this store. When my mom and I entered the store, there was one worker working that was helping another customer at the register but the worker still greeted us when we walked in. That was nice, because it was our first time in this store ever so we felt welcomed. When the worker was done cashing out the customer. She told us her name was Leilani and asked if we had any questions. My mom wanted to try out some shoes, so Leilani brought the shoes from the back for my mom to try. Since my mom was in some pain, my mom was apologizing for how slow she was putting the shoes on. Leilani said "no worries, take your time." That made me feel good because I didn't feel like we were being rushed. My mom ended up wanting a black shoe that wasn't available at this location. Leilani checked the system and saw it was available at another location. So I paid for the shoes and we were told that it will be ready for pick up the next day. My mom was very happy and excited because the shoes were so comfortable. She is on her feet a-lot for work, so I know she was looking forward to go back to work with comfortable supportive shoes. Come the next day, they left a voicemail saying that the delivery person forgot my moms shoe order at the other store location and that the shoes will be ready for pick up on Monday instead. That upset me because we were told it was would ready for pick up the next day, it was already paid for and because the delivery person forgot my moms order she would have to wait 5 days (Shoes were purchased on Wednesday. Was told it would be delivered next day Thursday, but now Monday!!) My mom told the person on the phone she can't wait till Monday because she goes back to work tomorrow. The person on the phone said she will call my mom back and let her know the status. My mom called back around 1pm and was told it will be ready for pick up tomorrow, not today. My mom explained to that person again that she is going back to work tomorrow. So the person said she will figure out a solution and give my mom a call back. The person calls my mom back and says that Leilani will drive to that location to pick up the shoes before her work shift. Leilani thank you soooo much!! You had to go out of your way to get the shoes yourself, before your work shift, just because the delivery person forgot to grab it themselves. My mom and I are very grateful for your help and going the extra mile to get her shoes to her. read more

Great service. Saw some men's shoes at Aina Haina store. It was on clearance and not returnable. I don't live nearby and my husband would not drive there to try the show on. The salesperson suggested that he could transfer the shoe to a closer store to us so my husband could try them on. Was on vacation when I had terrible foot pain on the second day after an amazing morning walk in koolina with my husband. Decided enough was enough and searched Yelp for any business with inserts. Decided to take half a day to help relieve my pain. Best decision I could have made when I walked in, was greeted by a friendly and informative saleswoman. They didn't have my shoe size available so was advised to go next door. After getting a nice pair of nike air at famous footwear, I was fitted with inserts that saved the rest of my trip.
