Totally disappointed. Placed order through Telefloral. I was later informed that they did not have the arrangement I ordered but I was assured by Telefloral that I would get a comparable arrangement. Not only did that not happen but it was two days late. Unacceptable. I contacted Telefloral and was told how sorry they were and I would be refunded $17.98 ( the service charge). I will NEVER use Telefloral again--they have no quality control and could care less about making things right. The florist should have just declined the order if they couldn't fulfill it. read more

I have a friend in Kansas who often calls The Tulip Tree florist in Glendale, AZ to send me gorgeous flowers for special occasions and sent me Anthuriums for house warming two years ago! The Anthuriums are still thriving and flowering beautifully and I am someone that doesn't usually do well with house plants! The flowers I got 4 days ago are still fresh as just picked! I have gone there every Christmas to get my 5 neighbors, poinsettias that are to die for and they have been greatly appreciated! When I go to the store in person, the staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. . I very strongly recommend this florist, read more

Your online ordering system is terrible. You asked me when I wanted it delivered. I said today, I get to the part where I have to put in the ZIP Code and it says "delivery to this address is not available today" fine... but there's no option to change that so now I have to go all the way back out and start again. To frustrating for me so I called and spoke to Renee, she was very helpful, and because of her great service, even having not seen the flowers yet, I would come back! read more

I ordered a flower arrangement through Teleflora for Mother's Day, which was sent to The Tulip Tree to fulfill. But instead of the bright purple and green orchid arrangement I ordered, mom received an arrangement of succulents. Not exactly bad, but not exactly what I was going for either. I called The Tulip Tree the next morning and spoke with Laura. We figured out the mixup, and it turns out that both arrangements have "Zen" in the name and one was mistaken for the other. Being a busy week in the flower business it's understandable that mistakes can happen. What's more important is how they're addressed. Laura promised to take care of it and get a replacement sent out. Mom received the replacement later the same day, with an apology from the delivery driver about the mistake. The new flowers knocked it out of the park, and now I have a go-to florist in mom's area for next time. Excellent product and customer service. read more

This review is coming from a local business that deals with Senior Living Retirement Communities. We chose Tulip Tree after making the decision to change our florist. We order flowers for incoming residents and they are never disappointed with the arrangements they receive. In fact, they call to say how beautiful they are. We want to thank Judy and her friendly staff for always making a great impression on our residents. Jeff G. Dir of Marketing & Sales read more

First time ordering from this place. I was happy they could deliver next day even though I placed the order after 5pm. They even called to tell me I forgot to sign my name. They tried delivering and left the flowers with a neighbor. My mother in law was happy once she got them. Job well done and the flowers look great! read more

Can't go wrong there ;) As you can see though, the arrangement is gorgeous. The Tulip Tree did AMAZING on this order! Thank you guys! From me and my boyfriend! I am sorry there are no negative stars . to say we are disappointed would be an understatement, we have ordered flowers for our CM's Birthday today and this pitiful arrangement of mostly wilting flowers arrived . I am sorry but 90 + dollars worth of flowers should never look like this . So we reached out to the shop and were told that due to the difficulties from receiving the flowers from Ecuador the flowers are sometimes less than fresh ??? Excuse me how is that the paying customers problem ? So the shop agreed to replace the bouquet to replace it with an even smaller , not at all what was portrayed on the picture bouquet . We order a lot of flowers around here but Tulip tree will no longer get our business . The flowers you buy at Wal-Mart look 100 % better than the one's we received today . Do not waste your money there read more

Best customer service .... love the flowers ! Just absolutely amazing !!! Highly recommend . Judy went out of her way to take care of us when we made a typo on an order . She could have easily not accommodated us but not only did she catch the typo and call us to double check she also helped insured our very important delivery would be made by her efforts. This place gets 5 stars for their flowers, customer service , honesty and quality of care. read more

Excellent staff, friendly, small flower shop. They are involved with doing charity work in the local community too which is what brought me to them. We have ordered from here every year for the Daddy/Daughter Dance flowers for our girls. This year.. I forgot. I called at 11am and was able to pick up by 3:30. Unfortunately, My daughter got off school at 3:30 and being in a mad rush to get everything done before the dance I totally forgot to pick up the flowers. I realized at 4:10 and called right away. I think it was Michelle answered and she said no problem I was here waiting for you. We were able to go pick up the wrist corsage and it was beautiful! Thank you for being patient and amazing! Super pleased with another order I placed at the Tulip Tree! They are my go to flower shop! I ordered a beautiful bouquet, online, after hours on a Wednesday night. Hired The Tulip Tree for my 20th vow renewal ceremony. From the phone call, the florist was willing to meet with me to capture what I envisioned. The meeting was simple, she listened to what I had wanted and took good notes. I followed up with an email with some pictures of what I had wanted. All I needed was one meeting with them. On the delivery day, the pictures and ideas we talked about came to life. The flowers were amazing. I had wanted something a bit different, more contemporary with some different flowers. I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you to The Tulip Tree for customizing and listening to create beautiful flowers for the ceremony. read more

I purchased an arrangement online from Tulip Tree from here in Seattle to be sent to my mother in Phoenix for her retirement. My dad sent me a picture of them upon arrival, and they looked great! I will use them again if I ever need to send flowers to that area. read more

Sue from the Tulip Tree did the floral arrangements for my wedding a few weeks back and they were just MAGNIFICENT!!!! She really listened to me during the initial consultation, and she absolutely delivered an even better version of my initial vision. NUMEROUS guests commented to me how amazing the flowers were, and I'm still receiving compliments weeks later because the flowers really were so impressive! I live in NYC and have pretty high standards as to what I think is in style and what I feel has been "over done" and I have to say, Sue has an amazing and very tasteful eye and she actually steered me toward a vision that was WAY better than the initial ideas I had in mind. I even showed Sue some photos of this amazing floral artist here in NYC called Ovando (google them, they are amazing, totally modern and SUPER expensive floral arrangements. Perhaps not everyone's taste but I really love the avante garde look) Sue took one look at the Ovando photos and said, "I can do that!" She absolutely delivered on her promise, thus giving me the super unique look I dreamed about, for a fraction of the cost. She also worked very closely with my mom since I don't live nearby, and she regularly kept us updated by creating mock ups to help us envision the larger picture. She had lots of other useful tips for other ways to cut costs (i.e. when/where to buy vases for 40% off, and which flowers we could substitute in place of the uber expensive flowers that were in the pictures I initially brought in.) She also did the flowers for the cake, and I just could NOT be happier with the way that looked as well! SOOOO glad we went with The Tulip Tree, and I can't say enough wonderful things about Sue. She really is talented!! The flowers were SHOWSTOPPERS and absolutely helped to make the day more special and memorable for me and everyone else! read more

So here is the thing about this awful place. I called and ordered peonies for my August wedding. Over the phone she said oh they will be beautiful and big so you'll only need 5. That's great I said. I go in the day before my wedding and they are tiny and brownish (dead basically) and she tried to say they arnt in season. Ok well that's not what you said on the phone! I actually ended up going to Costco and made a much more beautiful bouquet than these supposed florist could ever create. read more

I have been very impressed with the Tulip Tree on a number of occasions! I worked with Judy on my wedding flowers and she did an amazing job! Although I had an idea of what I wanted, I wasn't sure of types of flowers exactly or what would look best with the design of my dress and colors, etc. She asked me a bunch of questions (she obviously has done this a LOT!) and then went to work. The results were stunning! I was so pleased! On another occasion, I asked them to provide flowers to decorate a stage for one of my clients for a business conference and again, the results were wonderful! They are professional, experienced and by far had the best prices out of any I've seen. I will certainly call on them again! read more

The Tulip Tree has been our go-to flower shop for 10+ years! I appreciate the care and concern I have received for every order I have placed. My daughter's wedding flowers were outstanding, lilies in a beautiful bouquet, not too frilly, just exactly what my daughter imagined but could not adequately describe. The Mother's Day flowers for my mom and MIL have always been lovely and fresh and different. The funeral arrangement was commented upon by several people to me not knowing our family had sent it. I appreciate Tulip Tree and Judy! Thank you! read more

DO NOT USE!!! The Tulip Tree did not provide professional customer service, their manager (Sue) was rude and not patient. I also wanted to buy a specific item, but could not find what I was looking for. The staff was rushed and not interested in what I truly wanted to buy. I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday. The flowers were scheduled to arrive at 1:00PM, they actually arrived 3 hours late and did not get their in time for the event. When I asked for a refund, the manager refused and said that everything was delivered according to schedule. The flowers were half dead and the service was not professional. I would avoid them at all cost! Call around before you spend a dime at this store. I found another shop in Sun City (Sun City Florists Cards and Gifts) that I have used since and their flowers are fresh, elegant, exotic, and always meet my expectations! I would highly recommend Sun City Florists to anyone!! read more

My experience here was not enjoyable whatsoever. The lady running the shop was incredibly disorganized and from the very beginning, she acted like it was a hassle to even help us. We ended up buying just the vase for the flowers and are taking it to arrowhead flowers for them to arrange. I won't be giving my money to this establishment again. We were desperate to find a specific vase last minute. Otherwise we wouldn't have bought anything whatsoever. read more

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day through Phoenix Flower Shop who apparently contracted The Tulip Tree to complete the order since it was out of PFS new delivery boundaries. They charged us an 18 dollar deliver charge (we normally pay 13 with Phoenix Flower Shop). I ordered week's in advance to make sure that the flowers I wanted would be ordered and available. I ordered a spring bouquet that was to include roses, my mom's flowers were delivered and were an arrangement of carnations and lilies. The bouquet basically looked like a $14.95 arrangement from Safeway not the much more expensive arrangement I had picked out and expected. I called Phoenix Flower Shop on Monday to find out what on earth happened and they told me that they no longer deliver to Surprise and now contract all the orders out to other florist. Lucky me... They apologized and said they would contact the other shop and have a new arrangement delivered to my mom the following Thursday. Thursday came and went and no delivery was made. I called PFS today to find out what the issue was they called The Tulip Tree and determined in the "processing" that the Tulip Tree that the re-order was never picked up by them. Truly disappointed all around both with The Tulip Tree and with Phoenix Flower Shop. I did tell them they have lost my business after 16 yrs, of ordering flowers for my mom since I know now that they contract out. read more

I called the Tulip Tree at 5:00pm from out of state on Tuesday for two arrangements for a last minute memorial service for my dear aunt on Wednesday at noon. The staff was efficient and helpful and didn't bat an eye at my request (except to inform me that they would obviously be limited to flowers on hand). I selected the arrangements from the web site, with some minor substitutions based on availability which were fully explained by the staff, and by accounts of my other family members the flowers they delivered (early!) exceeded the description. I couldn't be more pleased and I will return to Tulip Tree when I visit my family on the West side. I rarely leave feedback, but it's such a pleasure to deal with a professional business when so many of my interactions and purchases these days leave me unsatisfied. read more
