Sadly, I cannot recommend this florist. The reviews led me to think that I could order from them with confidence, but I was very disappointed. The birthday bouquet I ordered was very poor value for the money. The arrangement was quite small, and clashed with the color of the even smaller vase. To add insult to injury, I specifically asked for a bow, but there was no bow. The "birthday girl" knows that I always ask for a bow, and she noticed that this year, there wasn't one. I was so embarrassed by the size of the arrangement, the poor choice of color for the flowers, and no bow! It seems the proprietor of a business such as this would know that many special occasions roll around every year, and providing good value is how one builds a clientele. This was my first time ordering from this florist, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The arrangement looked beautiful in the photos, but seeing it in person was even more stunning! My mom absolutely loved it and couldn't stop admiring it. I ordered the Deluxe stairway to heaven and it truly made a wonderful impression. The only small issue I experienced was with the customization option when ordering online. For the deluxe version, you're given the choice between 15 roses or a lily. I had requested the 15 roses in the memo section before checkout, but the arrangement my mom received included a lily instead. Thankfully, it still turned out beautiful, but I do wish my original request had been followed. So unbelievably disgusted of the service from this flower shop. My friend ordered an arrangement in the shape of a cross for my mother's funeral. She set it up so that the arrangement would be delivered the day before the funeral to my house so that I could refrigerate them and take them to the funeral home the following morning. They. Never. Arrived. I was home all day and NO ONE ever knocked on our door. After my friend emailed this garbage company, they lied to her telling her that they tried to deliver twice and they had called her multiple times and left voicemails (funny since her voicemail is not set up). This never happened. The funeral was the following day in the morning, and they had offered to deliver the next morning before the funeral. They still did not deliver them until that afternoon while we were at the get together after the funeral. When I arrived home from the funeral and the reunion afterwards, there was a note left on the door saying the arrangement was with my neighbor (which was fine). Funny though how they left a message the day they actually delivered, but there was no note left the two other times they supposedly "attempted to deliver". My friend came over this afternoon and asked about the arrangement she ordered. After showing her the vase, she was extremely confused and asked if I was sure that this was the arrangement I received from her. I said yes and asked why. She then showed me an email titled "delivered" with a picture of a beautiful cross made of carnations and lily flowers that obviously was worth more than the, although nice, less impressive vase of random flowers I had received with a small cross figurine. I have never bought flowers from this company in the past, and I can guarantee you I will never order from these people in the future after this fiasco. In the words of my friend, Amber, "I will never deal with this flower company again. I saved a ton of money by ordering them over the phone and then picking them up instead of ordering them online and having them delivered. Before I picked up the flowers, I regreted not buying corsages and boutianeers for my loved ones. Great local flower shop and small business. I needed a last minute floral arrangement for a friend's grandmother that passed away. I looked on all the major chain sites, and just couldn't find one financially reasonable enough in the time limit I had to send it. So, after looking into the local floral shops in Glendale, I settled on this one...and so glad I did! Though Glendale Flowers have arrangements pictured and listed on their site, I found it easier to call them directly and give them an idea of wanted and how much I could spend. The customer service was super helpful, kind and very professional. I wish I could have remember her name, but she did a great job taking my order and exactly what I wanted to say on the card over the phone. I went in knowing an idea of the type of flower arrangement based on one of the names on the website, but gave the flower shop full creative license to work with. Which I am so, so glad I did. The flowers turned out beautiful, and were perfect for my friend. The flower arranger even included a picture so that I could approve of it (which duh, wasn't even a question). That florist canceled my order on Saturday with no notice or warning so I was in a panic on Saturday to find a bouquet to be delivered on time. Yay for Glendale Flowers for coming in clutch on my cousin's graduation day from ASU - Tempe. My cousin really wanted a lei for her graduation, but she had not placed any orders prior to the day of her graduation. A little short sighted on her part, but Glendale Flowers was there to help us out. On the day of her graduation, I called in to several florists but no one had graduation leis. When I finally called in to the Glendale Flowers, they had some in stock. So, my cousin and I rushed over. It is a little bit hard to see from the road, but just look closely and you'll find this florist easily. The graduation leis were kept in the fridge. It was packaged simply in plastic. When I went to pay at the front, the cashier honored the Yelp Check-In deal I had. With the deal, the lei was about $44 with taxes. The flowers were beautiful with my cousin's graduation gown. The flowers smelt wonderful and were put together very well on the string. They lasted the whole night, and no petals came off. Cute little flower shop in Historic Glendale. I read reviews ahead of time and it sounded like everyone had called their order in or placed it online so I called to ask if I could walk in or if they were special order only. Rhonda let me know that they have a refrigerated case in the front where they have arrangements for pick up. Perfect! I walked in and chose an arrangement out of the case. There were about 7 or so. I was looking for a birthday bouquet and they had a couple to choose from. There was also a dozen long stem roses, a baby boy and baby girl theme bouquet, and a higher priced exotic arrangement. The arrangement I chose was $34.00 - less expensive than those on the website. I expected to pay almost $50 based on the website so I was definitely happy. There is a 10% check in offer but the fine print says it's for phone orders only. I didn't bother asking if they would accept it. I chose a small card, Rhonda boxed up my flowers, and I was on my way. Highly recommended...when I am in need of flowers in the future, I will be back! read more

A group of us were looking to have flowers sent to a mutual friend whose sibling passed. We knew we wanted to get them sent as soon as possible, ideally same day. Came across this flower shop because we decided to shop local. We initially were looking to place the order online but wanted to make slight modifications/requests. We finally decided to call in. We were ok with a designers choice arrangement, but wanted to ensure the arrangement consisted of mainly white flowers. We also wanted to make sure they would be delivered same day. The staff member who answered my call let me know our request for the arrangement was definitely doable, and for future reference could make changes like that when going through the check out process online. Staff member also confirmed the same day delivery. My order and payment was taken quickly, with the staff member taking the time to ensure spelling was correct for all names being used. Order was called in at 11:00am. I received a message from the friend who was receiving the flowers before 1:00pm. More than impressed with the service, speed, and quality! I am sad to have to write such a review, but I feel others need to know so they can prepare accordingly. I ordered a large and fairly costly arrangement on Friday, April 19, 2019 at approximately 10:00 a.m. for my mother's 78th birthday. I wanted it delivered on that day because I knew we would be out with her on her actual birthday on Saturday. The flowers were a surprise for her. She is mostly deaf and blind now and it is difficult for her to get around, but she loves flowers and can see the bright colors and smell their fragrance. I gave specific instructions to the florist for their delivery person on how to deliver the arrangement. Keep in mind I ordered via their website and paid at that time. The day passed and I didn't hear from anyone; mother or florist. I called about 2:00 pm and was told the arrangement was out for delivery. About 4:00 I got an email giving me delivery confirmation and asking for a review of my experience. I called my mother when I got off work at 5:00 and she didn't mention anything. I finally asked her if she had gotten a delivery. She said no one had been to her home, but she got up and wandered to her porch to see if something had come and she had possibly missed it. There was nothing. I called the florist to find out and they were already closed, so I left an urgent message on their voice mail thinking they would return the call Saturday morning. They open at 9:00 am on Saturday so I waited until I thought they were in and fully operating. I called and was told the flowers were delivered, but they didn't know where if they weren't with my mother. I was told the delivery person was not in yet. The remaining events of the day entailed me calling another five times as no one would return my call even after promising to call me back in "ten minutes." I ultimately went to my mother's mobile park and knocked on every neighbor's door in her area to see if they had been delivered there - nothing. I went to the office - nothing. With every follow up call I continued to be told they had been delivered. I was told they couldn't reach their driver because she had left her cell phone at the shop. When I kept telling them the flowers simply had not been delivered I was told they couldn't do anything and to wait until they spoke to their driver and the day kept progressing with no answers. Finally, about noon I spoke to them again and was told the flower arrangement had been there the whole time. When I expressed how stressful this whole thing had been for both myself and my mother, I was told how stressful it had been for THEM. My poor mother worried herself for hours thinking she had missed the delivery or would miss it with her hearing loss. On my last call I was told the driver was "on her way in" and they could deliver them. By this time we were on our way for her birthday luncheon. I asked for a window of delivery and was told, "a half hour." Not only was my mother not going to be there, but given their word had been worth nothing thus far, I didn't feel I could trust that especially with the fact their driver wasn't even there yet! Sadly, we finally settled the issue by my cancelling the order. I received an email stating a refund had been issued, BUT I also got one saying my arrangement had been delivered too and we know how that one ended. As of Monday, April 22 my refund has not been issued by my bank. I am giving it a couple of days for processing, so we will see. I am so disheartened by this experience. I own a very small baking business and I know IF by chance something like this ever happened to a customer of mine, I would not only have refunded their money, but I would have STILL provided their order at my expense. I want to support local businesses, but this incident was reprehensible and I am very disappointed in how the whole thing was handled and the fact everyone I spoke to appeared unconcerned about anything they fully caused.
