Right opposite the car park to Warwick Castle, it was a nice place to have a Sunday roast.
There was a choice of chicken, beef and lamb. I had the lamb and roast potatoes, and it was very, very good, with plenty of gravy. So nice that I could lick the plate. Very good value too. They also do Senior Citizens Menu "a smaller bite for the smaller appetite" offering the same Sunday roast with all the trimmings at £5.25, as well as the usual children's menu. My companions had the beef with the Yorkshire pudding and the chicken with roast potatoes and all said their meal was delicious.
We sat in the back room by the window, so it was like having our own private room, as it was not too busy in the back. Most people were dining or drinking in the front rooms or bar area. The decor was in keeping with the style of Warwick Castle, so it fitted in with our whole day theme of Tudor England.
We did not have any dessert as we wanted to have cream tea somewhere else. read more
