Perfect for a classy drink in a gorgeous building with super friendly bar staff.
Situated at the quieter end of town, The Trust is tucked away behind old fashioned rotating doors. As you step through them you are welcomed by the soaring ceilings with their ornate cornices, decorative communal tables, leather couches, bar stools and tables for dining.
Candles set the mood for a twinkling night, just mind the dripping wax! The bar staff were spot on, well presented, up for a chat, a shot or two and never too long to wait to be served. There is even a roaming waitress who takes drink orders. How fabulous.
My companions enjoyed their quality tapas style snacks which I would have partaken in if I hadn't already had 3 tacos before I arrived.
The footy was playing discreetly in one corner of the room. I was glad to see it wasn't the focus of the venue. The taps in the loos may prove tricky if you have had a cocktail or two - they are sensor operated at waist level.
Clientele were as pretty as the venue. Only real improvement to The Trust would be for better heating. read more
