The GMG website listed Berkshire Hearth & Home as a dealer so I began by emailing them with some basic questions. They were always quick to reply and answered all of my questions. I originally planned this to be a birthday gift for my wife which would have been in January but there was a really good sale that was coming to an end on 1 December so it was full steam ahead. We agreed on a charge for delivery and setup and after a few days Brad let me know that the grill had arrived and would it be convenient to bring it by the next day (I'm in Milford BTW). He gave me a one hour window for delivery and they arrived exactly at the 1/2 hour mark. Brad and his helper had the grill off of the truck and setup in just a few minutes. There was a shortage from the factory on the grill covers so afterwards I found one online from another vendor and ordered it. Since I'd already paid for a cover with my initial purchase I asked if they could refund the cost of the cover. They immediately replied that it would not be a problem. I was very impressed and satisfied with the entire process and would strongly recommend Berkshire Hearth & Home to anyone.

Al and Brad are incredibly friendly and VERY knowledgeable. They made the purchase/installation process seamless. We also purchased our pellets from them. Even though we purchased the pellets in season, they were still very fairly priced, and the quality of the pellets they carry are top notch. If you are considering getting a wood burning or pellet stove/insert, or are just shopping around for pellets, make Berkshire Hearth and Home your first and ONLY stop!

Installation day came and I believe it was Ben and Pete who came out(forgive me, remembering names is not my forte). They worked quickly and left no mess. It was such a clean installation. It took one day for them to install. They handled the town permits and also provided us with the tax rebate information. I'd recommend them highly.

Rusharn took apart the unit and showed me the mess that was left inside the unit that the last company had missed, it was pretty bad. The other company had not disassembled it completely, just did a surface cleaning. Rusharn was lovely to work with, efficient, on time, and so kind with our huge dog. And he charged less to clean and replace the pilot light than the other company did just to clean the unit! I will always use Black Swan form now on. They do get booked up in the winter (because they are so good!) so I made a note in the calendar to have them come out in the summer from now on, when the wait time is less. Highly impressed!

Being in the construction field, I had a few concerns with the install and they assured me not to worry. they made sure that I understood that if anything happened, they would return to rectify the issue. When I reached out about a leak less than a year later, they mentioned fixing it but... with a 4-month delay and offered that I could hire a local roofer if I would like. I asked if they could cover the cost of a local roofer, given it was their work. Unfortunately, the response was a firm refusal, citing the minimal nature of the leak and its unusual occurrence. Their email to me: "No I will not cover the cost of a roofer. The leak is minimal and more strange it hasn't started since the beginning. Is this happening every so often or only on very windy and heavy rains or because snow is sitting up there." Should leaks only happen on rare occasions during specific weather conditions after a woodstove is installed? In my opinion, any leak for any reason, needs to be dealt with immediately. I had anticipated better service, especially from a recommended and seemingly kind company. It appears their commitment to quality diminished after the payment was made. I hope they address these concerns and prove themselves as a reputable company. I will update this review accordingly. Update: I received the following message from Michael the day after posting my review: "I appreciate the 1-star review.
