Knowing that the frame and artwork were pretty pricey (but not our personal tastes) I asked Allied about installing a mirror in the frame. $75 later we have a beautifully framed mirror. Customer service was great when I dropped off my frame, but the follow-up when my project was done was non-existent. When I dropped off my frame at the beginning pf April I was told it was a 10-15 day turn-around time. No problem. About the 3-week mark, when I hadn't received a call, I emailed. Sure enough, our mirror was done. I'm sure they would have called me at some point, but I don't feel like it was my responsibility to reach out to them. I live in Iowa City and had a hard time finding someone to do this kind of job. Allied Glass came recommended by someone, so I didn't mind the travel. Recommend for their ability to provide a large number of services and reasonable pricing.

Overall the style was more modern so there were a lot of painted options and more grey toned everything. There is a small selection of tile and hardware, but it is all very nice and contemporary. I found several I really liked. They actually had lots of non-subway tile options, so I was appreciative of that! The process seems simple. They estimated 6 weeks lead time, I believe. We are in the design phase of a new home, so won't be purchasing anything for at least 6 months, so I can't speak to prices. Also our builder will be handling everything. Only reason I took off a star is the lighting in there is SO POOR. It's like a movie theater. Dark with a few spotlights. I kept having to carry everything to the window, but even then there was a glare. It was very difficult to see and it was frustrating.
