Overall the tint came out fairly decent. I would rate the work at about a 7/10. My only issue is with the film that he uses. It's not a household name (Xpel, Llumar, Suntek, etc) and since I never heard of the brand before, I was a little skeptical. The windshield came out blurry (approx 40% of the film) and makes it annoying to drive. Other shops I spoke to blame it on a bad roll of film or bad quality of the tint. Junior advised to let him know if there were any issues with the tint, that he would guarantee his work and replace what needed to be fixed. We stopped by his shop to show him the blurriness, to which he claimed might be "moisture". I knew that there was no way it could be moisture, but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. We gave it another 3 days and let him know that there was no difference. He advised that he would need to check his schedule and get back to us (shooting for the following week)...6 days later still no word. At this point, I'm very wary of taking our vehicle back to him and will find another shop to correct and redo the windshield. Just be careful as his follow up and claim of "guaranteeing" his work is a little sketchy. He's not overpriced and I guess you get what you pay for, but just don't expect him to stand behind his work. I don't like to write negative things about small businesses as he seems to be a one man show, but not keeping your word to paying customers is flat out wrong. Hopefully he reads this review and changes his business tactics for future success. I opted for the ceramic tint (paid $800/tesla y) which included moon roof as well, which is a fair price. But main gripe is the quality/brand of his film that just doesn't stand up to the big names out there. read more

I went by The Tint Shop and met JR and his brother. I just needed my driver side rear window redone because it was bubbling from another tint guy I used. They got me in within a 1/2 half......the price was very fair...... and they did a stellar job with high quality tint. They were both great guys and easy to deal with! AVOID THIS PLACE FOR TINT Got some tint from this shop and I'm honestly disappointed with the service. Workers done a Mickey Mouse job. 1.) Made a huge scratch on my trunk, I don't know how it happened. 2.) I asked the guy to remove the dirt that's in between the window so it doesn't scratch my tint.. he tells me just do it yourself with a computer duster.. 3.) a whole bunch of air bubbles can be observed if you look close at it. They did not clean my windows right before they installed my tint. No I have window tint that's scratched in which I paid $500 for .. this is the kind of service you guys provide? You guys should find a new profession if you guys don't care about your costumers. read more

I called prior to going in.. I arrived was taken right in. I needed one window tint replaced , no problem . They didnt try to upsale me to have the entire care done . Even though I had some bubbling in another window.. I asked about the price to have it all done later and told them I'll be back for the rest. So I made my appointment, set everything up along with my sunroof. One thing I don't care for, is no dark tint. They were pretty quick, but for some reason I have a very tiny knick on the drivers window, right in the center. You can actually see through it. Each time he said I didn't have an appointment because the person I originally spoke with didn't put me down. Alright, so I saw their ad on Instagram. 5 windows $80. Half small windows are counted as full windows. To do your whole car it's $120 and NO WARRANTY also they stated the tint at that price will fade in a year. Zero customer service. The first guy who helped us I guess was upset we brought up their own advertisement. The owner was rude and unprofessional just like his employees. He never tried to earn our business and his attitude and that of his employees along with the scam of the advertisement made us walk away. And from the look of the reviews here and on Google I guess we made the right choice by going else where. read more

Been going to the tint shop for a few years now, all of my cars has been taken care by Junior, not only a good friend of mine, a professional as well! Not sure what the other 2 reviews are really about. If you'd like good tint with a warranty and really fair prices, stop by talk to Jr. and he'll take care of you, the place is often busy due to his good work, don't mind waiting a little bit. You'll be satisfied with your car. That bubble, scratch bs is just non sense! I've had about 7 cars tinted by them, and not one of em had issues with it. Perhaps the guy was driving a 1981 garbage that he calls car? Lol Give it a try, this place is far better from what those people are saying. read more

Total scam. I've sent many people here and feel bad about it now. Literally have gotten 5 cars done here myself with no issues. We bought a warranty for the window tint and it's not being honored at all. We still have the original receipt as well. As stated on the bottom, must have the receipt in order to claim warranty. We go in and show the defected window tint. Literally looks like nothing is on the car at all. They first ask if we have the receipt, so we dig through the car and find it. They want to charge us $80 to install the same window tint. Even after we purchased the warranty. They offered to install a better film at $180 which is the usual price for window tint. Nothing is being done at all as we no longer trust this business. As much as I hate yelp and putting businesses on blast. This one is well deserved. Spend your money else where, because what you buy is nothing here. Obviously others have also had an issue here as well. Said we no longer carry that film because it was no good. Obviously you put it on the car and should own up to it. read more

Horrible service! Had my car tinted many years ago when it was complete, and i picked it up the interior roof upholstery was burned by heat gun. HUGE! burn mark didnt even tell me till i got in my car and saw it for myself. They denied it but c'mon who else couldve done it. Had them replace the upholstery by a third party and they ended up paying for it. They're a joke! Currently with the lifetime warranty tint is now faded and horrible looking. I dont even care for the warranty. Ill go elsewhere and get honest quality work. Dont trust them with your car. read more

I have brought 3 vehicles in the last 2 years to The Tint Shop. Today I had them tint a 2013 Lexus RX350. Both this vehicle and my 2013 Ford Explorer have same tint all the way around so the back windows are a little darker than the front because of privacy glass. I have always had a good experience at this shop and will continue to come here. Pricing is fair and up-front. If you don't want a warranty of any kind, pay $80. If you want a year warranty, pay $120 for 3M tint film. Longer the warranty the higher the price... I have another company vehicle on the way and I will be back again for tint. read more

I get in there last 2 week to get my front windshield ceramic tint due to the crazy hot weather in Socal. They are using Dub IR brand ceramic, there work is pretty similar to the 3M ceramic i used before. I go 70, the lightness on windshield. After 2 week installed, the Tint does do his job - heat resist. nothing to complaint on it. I would recommend to other for this Dub IR ceramic. - 1 star reason is the shop has no place to sit for client who is waiting. so make sure you call and confirm the car is ready before you go. read more

I never write reviews but this place is horrible! I went with my best friend to get her tint job done on her brand new Lexus IS250. We had an appointment at 9am sharp. They even took a 60 dollar deposit to set the appointment. We show up at 8:50 am and the shop was closed untill 9:15. There was another customer waiting for his car there as well. The whole time we were there they were very unprofessional. They were smoking cigarettes while they talk to us and cussing left and right saying the f word mother fu#!er sh#! The whole time. But my friend was convinced they do a good job. We drop the car and leave the guy said 2 hours max that he would call us. We left for 2 and half hours no call. We decided to go back and her car hadn't even been touched. We pull up and they say they had to finish a jaguar last minute and decided to do that first that he could "slap it on real quick". If your looking for a good job you can't just slap on some tint.. and of coarse she doesn't want some mickey mouse tint job on her Lexus. My best friend had work so we had to leave. The owner then said to us let me just slap it on real quick it will take a few minutes maybe 45. We had to leave they didn't even call us to say it would take longer .. who ever heard of a 4 hour tint job. We took our deposit ready to leave then the owner came up to the Co worker and says let me just slap it on real quick what the f#!k right in front of our faces very loudly. Not to mention there were razor blades on the floor. And the owner took care of "his homies" car first who got there after us. End of story we will not be getting tint from here again. Very rude disrespectful and quite frankly seemed like thugs running a fake business.. maybe they thought two young women and they could push us around. I make over 6 figures a year I will pay triple the price to be treated like a lady.. they need to rethink their business strategy. read more

My daughter and I took her Camry in to replace and re-tint the driver's side front window and the rear window. Several men were standing out front and we were quoted $90, then one quickly said, "we can do it for $80. We said great, we'll be in on the weekend. We forgot about the appt, and drove in the following week and spoke with George, who stands up front and answers the phones, giving quotes. I told him what a worker told me and he said, "ya, no problem." We made an appt to come back, as they were booked. When came back, George was there and I reminded him of our conversation. A tech, didn't get his name, but has many visible tats came out and told me, "no less than $160," I told him no, that's not what we were quoted and then confirmed by George. Then, the owner comes out and tries to over-talk me. I repeated what I was quoted and he, too, said he wouldn't do the job for less than $160. While I was talking with the same tech, the owner and two other techs were talking with my daughter. When I heard them talking money, I intervened. I told the owner again, what I was quoted and said there shouldn't be different pricing. He said they don't have a price list. I told him he was treating us like a typical mechanic (not my mechanic), when they see a woman, they change the pricing. I stayed calm the whole time, no yelling or bad language, but very firm. I did my car windows there about four years ago and was issued a lifetime warranty. Their customer service was bad news. The owner gave me a deal on top of the line 3M product but after he finished the job he insisted to take cash only. He was pretty rude about it. Now four years later the 3M tint film has totally faded. I took it a genuine 3M dealer and was told that they would not honor the warranty because the film was fake. Only the warranty paper was real, but all the specific product information was missing. This shop is dishonest and their practice is illegal. read more

I had scheduled an appointment 3 days in advance and the main owner / manager cancelled on me last minute, telling me that I was not enough of a priority to maintain my appointment or guarantee me the next available slot. What a complete joke, I have been to many tint shops before this one. It took over 5 hours to tint my car and for about an hour a guy just sat in front of my car and was on his phone so I approached him and asked the status and he told me" you ain't my boss u can't ask me questIons talk to the boss junior". So I asked who junior was and a person from behind the counter said "yea that's me what up?" I asked kindly " are you going to start my car". He replied loudly " yes, I'm prepping the glass it was dirty as S***" I feel bad for anyone who has to come here and I was actually referred here. Needless to say the job was poor and had started peeling 2 days later. So I went back and he told me to drop off the car when I get an appointment so I went to schedule an appointment for warranty and junior said he was booked for 2 months yet his bay was empty as I sat there for 20 mins asking why he could not do it now, not a single car pulled up to his "supposed booked schedule " don't waste your money here, good luck on getting service from this place. read more

I was referred to Junior by my neighbor, who had his Chevy Suburban and Kia done there and both looked great. I called on a Friday morning, thinking he'd be busy but he told me to come on down. As soon as I got there, I pulled in and him and his assistant started on my car. I asked if he had done any cars like mine, a 2015 Jeep Renegade, of which he said had only done one before.
