The first time, my battery died in the Fry's parking lot. I called them and a guy came out right away. He performed a test and sure enough diagnosed a dead battery. He towed my SUV to his shop. He removed the old battery and replaced it with a new one that had a warranty for 36 months. Afterwards, I signed the paperwork and paid my bill, I was on my way! Fast forward to today, my car was intermittently starting when I tried to start it. I think my battery was almost dead. I managed to get it started and drove to Iconic tire. The same guy who came out to my car last time is the same guy serving me today. He's a very nice soft spoken gentleman. He immediately took the time to serve me and diagnosed a dead battery. He checked his inventory and located a replacement battery. It was expediently replaced. As my battery was only 29 months into my 36 month warranty, I expected a prorated price towards my new battery. But the tech explained it wasn't their policy. My battery was FREE! The only thing I had to pay was labor to install it. A mere $50.00! The only other stipulation was the new battery was only warranted to the date of the old battery. No problemo! I received a new battery! I just love this place!

BUYER BEWARE! BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS, PREDATORY SALES METHODS, AND DISHONESTY…read more I helped facilitate a tire replacement for my elderly mother and worked with Kevin. He promised a "buy 3 get 1 free" deal on tires available "same day." While I found the tires cheaper elsewhere, Kevin promised to include an oil change, alignment, rotations, and flat repairs for the life of the tires to earn our business. Kevin was extremely aggressive to "close" the sale, calling me repeatedly from different numbers while I was in meetings. Once we arrived at the Maricopa location, the lack of transparency became disturbing. Kevin presented a write-up packed with undisclosed "up-charges" that were never discussed. We were forced to pay for: *Labor for discarding old tires (even though I took the tires myself) *Motor Vehicle Tire Waste Fees *Electronic balance and stem labor *A "protection plan" *Shop supply charges *Tire nitrogen fill fee per tire When I contested the $44 nitrogen charge and asked for regular air, Kevin claimed he couldn't honor the "deal" unless I paid for all the extra "crap." The "free" 4th tire was essentially paid for by these itemized nonsense fees. He clearly expected my elderly mother to sign without me reviewing the invoice. The dishonesty continued with the service. Kevin initially promised the alignment was included. When we picked up the car, he claimed it "didn't need one" but provided no proof. When I pressed, he changed his story, saying they were too busy and told me to call to schedule a Saturday appointment. When I called to schedule for the following Saturday, he claimed they don't do Saturday appointments and then tried to charge me $109-$119 for the alignment that was supposed to be free. This was a complete bait-and-switch. From the aggressive sales tactics to the hidden fees and the retracted promises regarding the alignment, this was the most unethical experience I've had. I cannot speak for the whole staff, but Kevin's tactics are borderline illegal and predatory. Especially towards my elderly mother. Do not take your business here. We have many other local shops in Maricopa that probably operate with better integrity. I am shocked this location has a high rating given these sketchy, dishonest practices. I will be sharing this experience on every platform possible to warn others.

After the installation, I took my car for a ride and there were many warning lights on the dashboard. Not sure if they damaged all the sensors on the car but all the sensors are now giving me warning lights and these warning lights will not go away. If you have newer cars, DO NOT let these guys fix your cars. One of the mechanics was hitting the back rotor with a huge hammer very hard to get it off and must have damaged all the sensors, I guess. Another possibility is that the other mechanic was using an electric saw to cut off the dust covers and might have cut a cable to cause all the warning lights to show up on the dashboard. I sent them an email about all the warning lights but no response from them. They were able to install the 4 rotors and 4 calipers just fine but the brakes don't feel very tight and feel loose when hitting the brakes. I have to push the brake pedal almost all the way down to the floor in order to stop the car. I recommend these guys if you have older cars with no latest technologies. "We do not want you as a customer, we do not want your business. Do not contact us in any way. You…read moreare not welcome here either." - Roman Bylkov, Owner Maricopa Auto Outlet I received the above message from Roman, the Owner of Maricopa Auto Outlet after I asked him to correct a simple tire selection mistake! From The Best Car Buying Experience - To The Absolute Worst! A MUST READ for anyone considering buying a vehicle from these people This past Saturday, I drove all the way from far East Mesa to Maricopa not just for a destination vehicle but for a small town owner/operator, skip the big dealer, no-hassle car buying experience. The reviews online for this dealership were a dominating factor in this decision, and I arrived at Maricopa Auto Outlet expecting the best car-buying experience ever! When I arrived, I was a bit disappointed to find that the high-end luxury Lexus Sports Car I was there to purchase was not in any shape to be sold or delivered, though it had been sitting on the lot for 9-months! The tires were mis-matched and irregularly worn, the brakes were worn to the point of being unsafe, the engine compartment was filthy, and it only had one smart key. After a test drive, I went in the office to meet with Roman and discuss the transaction. I mentioned my concerns to him, he inspected the vehicle and agreed that all I had listed should be addressed before delivery. At this point, I made him a fair offer to take the vehicle immediately as it sat. Roman declined, saying he would take care of the pre-delivery maintenance items and wanted to keep the vehicle at the full asking price. I agreed to this only under the stipulation that ALL parts and tires met OEM standards and that the tires needed to be at least a 60k mile tire. To which Roman answered "that's fine" and adds these items to a "WE OWE" form in the deal. We come to terms on my trade value and Roman reaches across the desk to shake my hand to seal the deal! PLEASE READ ON: Once the paperwork is completed we agree that they will deliver the car to me in Mesa on Tuesday once all of the work is done. I agree and leave. A bit later in the day, I ask Roman by email to please let me know what kind of tires he puts on the vehicle and provided him with the OEM specs. He later replies with a photo of a receipt from Discount Tires asking me if this is ok. Upon examining the receipt, it clearly states: "The tire you have chosed is different from the original equipment provided with your vehicle and may change its handling or stability characteristics". I looked the tire up by model to see that Roman has selected the least expensive tire that will fit that vehicle! (NOT OEM AS AGREED) Ultimately, I am paying for the tires and the vehicle, and I have a reasonable right to receive the correct tires! When I asked Roman if he could equitably replace these with the correct tires, he explodes! Roman then replies to me to inform me that our deal is unwound and that he is cancelling the transaction. After some back and forth communication to resolve the situation, I ultimately I get this from him: "We do not want you as a customer, we do not want your business. Do not contact us in any way. You are not welcome here either. Do not show up. If you show up, we will charge you with trespassing as this message states. Further message will be treated as harassment. Any deception to our business will be treated right back to you" ALL OF THIS BECAUSE THEY BOUGHT THE WRONG TIRES AND REFUSED TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE! IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING HERE - RE THINK IT!

Even though my original Firestone tires have been discontinued, the store has a different set that was close to the all season tires I bought in 2017. So a couple of things here: 2017 is a LONG time to drive on any tires. I don't drive a lot but the Arizona heat is brutal. The fact they survived this long is an impressive testament to Firestone's quality. Also, I received a veteran's discount, which I really appreciate. Mike and John were both wonderful professional, kind, and funny. I enjoyed the service, and I have no complaints. Oh, but something important to note: my father in law came with me to put these tires on his line of credit (so I can pay him back), and his APR went up to 39%. If you're someone who lives off credit cards right now to make ends meet, I'd recommend thinking a bit before applying for that credit card. I don't feel 39% is worth the value, even if you do need this work done. Aside from all that though, this was still a 5/5 star experience.

This firstone place closes at 5pm. So I left and ran some errands.I got back to the fFrstone by 430 pm and asked if my car was ready. They asked for my name and said my car hasn't even been looked at. I was upset and frustrated. My car sat for over 3 hours and not even moved. They said they called me and left a message. I told them that I never received no calls and thats why I was here. The person then repeated my cell number to me and I said yes that that was my number. I then said that Ive been waiting for their call for over 3 hrs!! I did not get a call!! I then said wow and that I will take my vehicle and get it serviced somewhere else. I then asked for my keys. Did I can an apology? No!! Did I get a sorry? No!!! The person that I spoke to was young, the person doing the servicing was young. And to top it off they were both on their phones when I walked in. They saw me come in and not one of them not even acknowledged for 5-10 minutes!!! What kind of service is this?? I will tell you what the problem is. 1st acknowledge who comes in. Be polite say hello and be professional. How can I help you or what can we do for you today? 2nd acknowledge the appointment and if your are too busy state that appointment may go over and we would understand. 3rd give us an estimation of completion time so we atleast have an idea of how long it may be. 4th Follow through!! Give us a call and CONFIRM that you called us! Not just say we called and left a message!!!! I did not get a call at all!!! Stop lying!! 5 if the car cannot or will not be able to be serviced within a certain time slot or in the day tell us!!! Call us!! Text us!! And apologize!!! Its that simple. The two that worked that day need to be looked at (via camera system) and see what they were doing throughout the whole day. Whats the point of an appointment if you cant do it!! This was a bad experience and so frustrating. I will be speaking to a manager if not corporate. There is no excuse when I see your employees on their personal cell phones not acknowledging customers.
