We went to several stores, had to wait for a salesperson and then had a hard time getting questions answered. Then luckily we went to Floor Craze and immediately had the manager's full attention. He showed us a a great selection, ranging from gorgeous high-end wool carpeting and wood flooring to stylish ceramic tile for the mudroom. He explained all the options, including the pros and cons, and gave us a very specific, detailed quote for each room, including taking out the existing flooring, and installing the padding and new flooring. Their prices are surprisingly reasonable! As soon as he placed the order for each room, he gave us frequent updates on delivery and installation times. The whole crew was warm, friendly, efficient and very professional from delivery through installation through cleanup. Everything was delivered and installed on time and perfectly. The rug for our entry had to be re-cut and rebound twice, for example, due to changes during renovation, and Floor Craze did that seamlessly within a couple of days, both tones. It's so rare to see this level of friendly service anywhere and Floor Craze made this part of our renovation a breeze!

So when we decided to install additional wood flooring, we knew exactly who to call. As expected, the sales process was outstanding. The team took the time to educate us on various options, clearly outlining the pros and cons of each. They even came to our home three separate times to help us select the perfect product. After the floors were installed, we noticed some issues--the floor creaked and felt spongey in certain areas. Neal's responded immediately, coming out the very next day. They quickly acknowledged that something wasn't right and took swift action to address it. Ultimately, the issue was traced back to the material itself. That didn't matter to Neal's. They took full responsibility, sourced new material, removed the entire floor, and reinstalled everything from scratch--all within two weeks to minimize our inconvenience (their words, and they meant it!). There was no spin, no finger-pointing, and no talk of additional costs. Just accountability and action. It's easy to praise a company when everything goes according to plan--but what truly sets Neal's apart is how they handle things when they don't. That integrity and dedication is exactly why we'll continue to return to Neal's again and again. A heartfelt thank you to everyone on the Neal's team!

Its a messy job - sanding and refinishing the whole house - but everyone that worked in there obviously took their time to minimize the mess and cleaned up when they were done. I was told that a replacement unit would take at least six weeks to arrive. Not choosing to wait I repaired the defects and had to negotiate a partial refund directly with the manufacturer. Lesson learned: Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's well made. On two occasions I picked up multiple products at the loading dock. After an exhaustive one-by-one check I found that several items on the delivery ticket were not in fact provided. Lesson learned: Check everything carefully or you will make multiple trips back to the store. Most disappointing, we purchased an undermount sink for the vanity top. After a lengthy discussion with the sales rep. regarding the exact size we wanted, the sink was delivered to us and we sent it to the granite fabricator. When the countertop was delivered and the sink installed, we learned that the sink was smaller than the unit we discussed and selected. We had to purchase a new sink and fabricate a second countertop for $870. Plimpton accepted zero responsibility for the error and would not even refund the $151 for the incorrect unused sink because we did not have the original packaging. (This is after spending more than $12,000 on bathroom fixtures.) Lesson learned: Do not trust that what you communicated and selected will be accurately ordered and delivered. Check everything carefully. We will not use Plimpton for our remaining fixtures, and for the reasons above we do not recommend them to prospective customers.
