But here's the true measure of a standout business: even though I didn't love the results, I loved the experience. My esthetician, Evelin, was careful and intentional with every step. She explained what she was doing, highlighted the benefits, provided a weighted blanket, and made sure everything was safe and sanitized between products. Then you get a weighted blanket that feels like a warm hug and you start you facial with an essential oil- I typically go with eucalyptus because it relaxes me the most but they also have a citrus oil. You're offered the option to either be talked through the steps of your service or have a silent service. I typically get talked through mine because I love skin care and like to utilize their methods into my daily routine. The restroom (they only have one and it's in the front) I didn't realize and no one told me until i read a small sign, upon closing the door behind me that the lock was broken :( I had to use the restroom and wanted to do so before getting back on the road, since with pregnancy....well for the ones that get it get it, lol. That would've been very very awkward and I wouldn't have known how to even handle that moment. I told the man that it was okay, because of course it wasn't his fault, he didn't know..but Jenna, when I asked her about where the restroom was she told me where and told me that I could use the restroom. I think it would've been nice if she told the front desk staff so that way they could keep an eye out for me. The interaction between the man and I was definitely quite loud and so I'm surprised they didn't say anything to me after, like no apology or anything. Once they saw me they motioned me to check out and grabbed payment. I paid my $180 for the prenatal massage plus tipped Jenna $40, because I really did enjoy her service but there's always room for improvement anywhere :) hopefully they take this as a loving critique. I would hate anyone else to get that restroom experience and actually have been using the restroom.... I didn't say much at the end, but I think I was still in shock. When I came it was during construction so my massage was in a hotel room on the 7th floor, so I didn't get to see the actual rooms. The reason for only 4 stars is because you don't get to enjoy the amenities all day, you only get to come an hour before and stay an hour after. With the price you pay and all other spas I have been to you get to stay All day. The service was also very slow at the pool so we couldn't even order a snack because it took too long. Also, the restrooms don't have body wash, which was surprising. Lastly, the pool is NOT heated and was cold when we went. I do think it should be heated as it would be more enjoyable. I did love that we got 2 complimentary drinks. Either champagne, rose, or a mimosa. I got the mimosa which was good. The locker room itself is small. I enjoyed the snacks they provided. We got a couples massage and it was probably one of the best massages we've both had. The women's locker room was nice and the amenities were clean and worth it.

A maternity one and a regular Swedish massage. My friend goes in right before the appointment time. Perfect! My turn is coming right? Someone calls my name. Oops. She meant Catherine. Not Caroline. Idk that mistake happens often. I know because I have a sister whose name is Catherine. So I sit down. 20 minutes after my appointment time, the manager comes in and tells me the therapist didn't show up and they're fully committed today. (No wonder they confirmed the appointment a million times) she basically said "you ain't getting your massage today" but, nicer, wayyy nicer lol Am I annoyed? 100% Am I irritated? Totally I text my husband who is the rational one in the relationship and he said "give them some grace, it's not their fault someone didn't show up to work." He is right. A staff member, who I strongly suspect had little to no experience, administered tear trough filler after talking me into it. The results were immediately wrong. I asked for it to be dissolved right away. What followed was weeks of runaround. They had me return every two weeks, and with each visit their attitude worsened, especially once I declined their repeated pressure to purchase additional services. I came in wanting a small, natural result. They saw a revenue opportunity. After multiple attempts, they were unable to fully dissolve the filler. I am now seeking treatment from a licensed dermatologist to fix what they could not. The practice is run by someone with no medical credentials, not a physician, not a nurse practitioner, not an aesthetician with any verifiable expertise. The medical authority here appears to be a nurse who seemed undertrained for the procedures being performed. A medical spa performing injectables should be overseen by a licensed physician on site. This one is not. If something goes wrong, and it did for me, there is no qualified person there to fix it. Avoid this place. The consequences can be permanent.

7+ Years of Loyalty Gone -- Credits Wiped Out Without Warning…read more I have been a loyal Hand & Stone member for over seven years, and I am beyond disappointed with how I was treated. Without any warning, my membership was cancelled, and with it I lost over 20 credits I had accumulated -- many of which were built up during the pandemic when services were limited or unavailable. At no point was I notified that my membership was about to be terminated, nor was I given the opportunity to use my credits, pause my account, or make any kind of arrangement. For seven years, my membership had never once been cancelled. To suddenly terminate it and wipe out credits that were already paid for feels unfair, unethical, and frankly unacceptable. Those credits represent real money -- not a courtesy, not a gift -- and losing them without notice is a slap in the face to long-term, loyal customers. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this company. Loyalty clearly means nothing here. I would strongly caution anyone considering a membership to read the fine print carefully and not assume your unused credits are safe -- because mine weren't.
