I always love coming to The Now. (Especially the Lower Greenville location!) I have the Sanctuary Ritual membership (one 50 minute massage every month & yes, they do roll over & can accumulate over time!) I would definitely suggest getting the membership because even if you come once, you save some money & you can cancel at any time. I don't always visit every month (you know that life can get busy) so it's nice to know that I can accumulate my credits & go 4 times a month if I have the credits to do so. I always ask for Bertha T. to be my masseuse & I love her so much! She is great & fantastic at what she does!! .... I probably won't ever book anyone else haha. My parents have come a few times here as well & they always say their masseuse was excellent no matter who it was. The Now is clean, welcoming, & very peaceful. Once you check in, your masseuse will ask if there is a specific area of your body you want them to focus on (if not, they can spend time evenly throughout your whole body), if you want any enhancements ( I love the gliding cupping), then they offer you time to undress & get ready for your massage. The space is nice & quiet- they have wave sounds on the speakers which is super peaceful. Once it's over, you are given a cup water & a chance to schedule your next appointment at the front desk. It's always a fantastic time here & I always look forward to the next time I visit The Now (and see Bertha)! Thank you all!!!!!! read more

Wow! Had such a relaxing and uplifting massage here from Lori. Charming and enchanting space, I love the decor and the rolling ocean waves during the massage are so soothing! read more

Jenna is so sweet! I got the prenatal massage and she listened to all my concerns and got straight into my troubled areas! Jenna definitely made me feel more than comfortable! Her hands are so soft, but she really does know how to do her thing!! I loved my experience with Jenna and the team (front desk)! However it was really cold in there. The blanket was really warm initially, but it started to become very cold . Honestly it could've been because I do get cold very easily and also the stuff Jenna used probably made me feel cooler, which could just be preference and has nothing to do with them at all. There was one incident that I feel like someone else would've reacted differently than I did. The restroom (they only have one and it's in the front) I didn't realize and no one told me until i read a small sign, upon closing the door behind me that the lock was broken :( I had to use the restroom and wanted to do so before getting back on the road, since with pregnancy....well for the ones that get it get it, lol. I wrestled back and forth in my mind on if I should use the restroom or not... I chose not to and just washed my hands to get my mental state back in that "relax mode". I started to wash my hands and a man opened the door and literally got an entire glimpse of me, was startled, and shut the door. Wow....im so happy I wasn't using the restroom. That would've been very very awkward and I wouldn't have known how to even handle that moment. I told the man that it was okay, because of course it wasn't his fault, he didn't know..but Jenna, when I asked her about where the restroom was she told me where and told me that I could use the restroom. I think it would've been nice if she told the front desk staff so that way they could keep an eye out for me. The interaction between the man and I was definitely quite loud and so I'm surprised they didn't say anything to me after, like no apology or anything. Once they saw me they motioned me to check out and grabbed payment. I paid my $180 for the prenatal massage plus tipped Jenna $40, because I really did enjoy her service but there's always room for improvement anywhere :) hopefully they take this as a loving critique. I would hate anyone else to get that restroom experience and actually have been using the restroom.... I didn't say much at the end, but I think I was still in shock. I have never had that happen before..:( read more

The 3 stars is a combination from myself and my boyfriend. It was our very first time experiencing a massage and we were super excited! Once we walked in, we were greeted very amiably. They were very sweet at the front desk. Once it was time to go in, my boyfriend went in first and then myself. The masseuse (Misty) taking care of him arrived through the door, she seemed to be in a rush to clock in and right away took him in. Once he was inside he texted me right away that he was very confused and was left with zero instructions. All she told him was "There's the basket for your clothes". I suggested he tell her it's his first time, to which he did and all she did was point to the bed. He didn't get a chance to take off his shorts or socks! This led to him not having a great experience overall. It was very disheartening because I truly believe he would've enjoyed it with the proper service. For example, my experience with Sydney (10/10) was absolutely amazing! She stopped me, asked me about where I felt tension, answered any questions I had, explained instructions, offered me water after the massage and even gave me self care tips for after!!!! (That's another thing, he didn't get offered any water at the end.) I myself, would completely recommend it, but it really all depends on the massage therapist's treatment and service towards you. read more

I have gone here several times, every time it is amazing. Had Lewis for the first time, best massage I've ever had! So relaxing in there! 12/10 read more

Wow! What an amazing place. The customer service, ambience, massage therapists, and membership prices are exactly what you should look for when you want a little getaway. I always feel happily welcomed when I walk through the door. I have had a membership for several months now. Best decision my husband and I ever made. I love how clean and refreshing the place smells. It has very calming and relaxing vibes. Having a membership where I get two massages a month plus the credits I don't use rolled over to the next month is awesome. It is an absolute no brainer to get a membership. Keeps me stress free and able to enjoy a little me time every once in a while. My massage experiences have always been good. I've seen Lisa and Lewis. Both have their strengths and things they do that make the experience overall good. But this time with Arianna was excellent! She really listened to what I needed and worked her magic! She gives really great pressure and asks if she needs to apply more or less. I felt my tension and stress melt away with her. She is the best! Very pleased with my massage and experience :) read more

Extraordinarily inconsistent. High therapist turnover, and appointments are screwed-up half the time. I've arrived for multiple scheduled appointments only to be told they had no record of it. Sometimes they switch your therapist or reschedule your appointment time without telling you. Front desk staff is unapologetic and does nothing to remedy bad experiences. I just cancelled my membership, strongly recommend going elsewhere. read more

Had an awesome massage with Eboni today! Add the cupping!!! So worth it! Thanks, Eboni!!!

Visited on Monday afternoon and had a fantastic massage from Joey! He listened to my concerns and likes/dislikes and checked in with me in the beginning to make sure the pressure was good for me. The Now in Lower Greenville is perfectly designed and reminds me of a magical vacation in Quintana Roo, Mexico read more

I was on the VERGE of canceling my membership because I experienced a handful of different massage therapists that were very nice but didn't massage really well. I decided to go in for the last time and met Eboni. That was when I discovered my favorite gem - Eboni has amazing pressure, can detect soreness and works MAGIC. I have been seeing Eboni ever since and if she ever left this massage studio, and was around the Dallas area, I would happily follow her. 5 stars = Entirely ALL for Eboni. I do the "The Stretch" with Eboni and it's my all time favorite. 3 stars = Front desk is really hit or miss - I asked them to freeze my membership (since I had so many unused massage credits) back in early June 2024 but realized today that an employee did the freezing incorrectly on their system and their system kept charging the wrong credit card up until today (Sept 2024). I took their word for it and didn't check my statements. Be sure to double check yourself if you change credit cards/ask your membership to be frozen. This location is also always out of toilet paper in their unisex restroom, but front desk is quick to refill, when you point it out. So be sure to peek in before you use it. read more

I received a gift card for my birthday and have quickly rolled that into a monthly membership after a fantastic first appointment. I scheduled with Lewis after reading all the glowing reviews on Yelp. So glad I did! I opted for The Healer massage for 80 minutes. It's been a while since my last massage and I am in front of a computer all day. My neck and shoulders were very tight. Lewis recognized that right away and spent more time on those problem areas. It was one of the best massages I've had. The ambiance and decor are great. It definitely feels more spa-like than some of the other chains. If you think you will go more than once, go the membership route and you save almost 40%. Customer service was also excellent. Happy birthday to me! read more

This quaint massage studio is conveniently located on Lower Greenville, with ample front and side parking for customers. The aesthetic is coastal boho, complete with ocean waves as background noise and soft neutrals throughout. The facility is pretty clean and well-maintained which may be because it's newer but, definitely did not go unnoticed. The setup is similar to a foot massage studio in that the massages happen in a large shared space. The key difference is that The NOW's industrial space is separated by thick drapes to create individual massage suites. The drapes are completely opaque to provide accurate privacy while changing and while the session is in progress, but, you shouldn't expect a private room. My Massage Therapist (Yolanda) used the perfect amount of pressure and care-- you could tell she gave a da*n if you know what I mean. While the NOW wins on cleanliness, hospitality, and service, I simply cannot give a perfect score considering the design. With no doors, sounds simply bounce and echo in this space. I was near the front of the loft where folks were walking in/out and having conversations, which might've amplified this nuisance for me and ultimately distracted from my massage. If I return (because Yolanda is that good) I may try earplugs and/or headphones because the dry coughing and random chatter just wasn't it. read more

The Now is a great massage place. I have a membership here and it's worth every penny. Lewis is my favorite massage therapist. His technique and pressure level is perfection. I always feel like a brand new person when I leave. I've tried other therapists and they couldn't compare to Lewis. The atmosphere is relaxing. They play the typical spa white noise. My mom enjoyed her massage on Mother's Day and I've had several friends give them glowing reviews. I love that I'm able to get an appointment last minute. If you're looking for a quality massage place, this is it! read more

Felecia is wonderful, fabulous, strong, careful, and sweet. I highly recommend her for a sports massage. She gets deep into the tissue and breaks up the knots. Juana was my Mom's therapist and also did a wonderful job!!! I can't recommend the NOW massage boutique enough!!! read more

Walking up to the boutique, there were over a dozen rattan lanterns hanging above the patio and then we proceeded to walk into a tranquil Tulum-inspired space. The neutral-colored and natural décor eased the mind and made me feel like I could spend the rest of the day here. Check-in was a breeze and the massage was overall highly relaxing. The "rooms" are separated by thick burlap-looking curtains and the individual spaces are outfitted with plush Moroccan rugs, pink salt rock lamps, and most importantly - heated beds. My masseuse was attentive and very professional. I would highly recommend booking a massage here to relax and unwind. read more

First time at this location and it was amazing front desk Savannah was amazing and very friendly and kind. Sam gave me the best massage ever! I can't wait to come back to see Sam again read more

The vibe here is great. I love the calming atmosphere, and Lewis did an amazing job with the stretch massage!

The NOW Massage in Lower Greenville did not disappoint. The ambience was to perfection and the area where you get your massage was more than I expected. The soothing sounds of waves crashing, and the scent of the Himalayan healing salts made me feel like I was right next to the ocean. I was immediately so relaxed with the sea vibes especially since I'm a water lover. I booked "The Healer" massage with the Scalp Renewal Enchantment; Andrew asked me a couple questions so he knew what areas needed the most attention. Not only did he focus on those areas, he discovered other areas of tension I did not realize were tight. You know the massage is good when you start falling asleep. I will definitely be booking another Journey massage with other enhancements for longer time. 10 out of 10 recommended (Next visit I'll take a phot of enter the relaxing suites) read more

This was an amazing way to spend an early afternoon. Thought I'd take off of work for the morning, do some errands, and cap it off with a massage. The lady at the front counter was super friendly, sharing the history behind the business. I love the name, The NOW Massage. When I have a message, I enjoy meditating, focusing on the now. In our day to day activity, we humans have a habit of running on autopilot, barely conscious of the now. So, yes, I love the name! Oh, and the massage was amazing! Think I fell off into sleep as it was simply too relaxing. Thank you to all at The NOW Massage for allowing me to meditate on the now. read more

5 stars for location 5 stars for customer service 5 stars for atmosphere/ aesthetics 4 stars for value/quality: I've had 2 massages here. The first one was oddly rudimentary and distracted. The second massage was on the other end of the spectrum- my therapist was very skilled and attentive. I ordered an add-on service which was only 10min out of the 80min massage. Because of the inconsistencies of quality- I hesitate to give all 5 stars. I will say- if you are dissatisfied, management is very receptive of feedback and strives to meet your expectations. read more

I'm honestly hesitant to write a review because I'm worried once people realize how great Lewis is I'll never be able to get in again haha. But he deserves all the recognition and clients! Unbelievable. This place cancelled my massage 2 hours before my appointment on Mothers Day!! They tried to just give me a $25 gift card to compensate. Unprofessional - don't you think the same cancellation policy should apply the other way around? didn't even find a way to rebook me today. I asked for the manager and they said she was "on the phone" - I said I would wait and they said no. they need to provide customers way better compensation especially when this was booked a month ago ... and the front desk needs customer service training desperately. read more
