I spoke with Ricardo over the phone who provided great customer service and wrote down all of my case information in the company notes. I told him I wasn't sure if I wanted to hire a lawyer yet. Ricardo was very understanding and told me I could give him a call as early as a day or two before the court date to hire them. Two months later, my court day was only a few days away and with a newborn on my hands, I realized I wouldn't be able to make it. I called The Ticket Clinic and spoke with Ricardo again who remembered speaking with me and the details of my case. He quickly got the paperwork set up and had me sign the affidavit so the lawyer can appear on my behalf. I was amazed how accommodating The Ticket Clinic was despite requesting their services only a few days prior to my court date. I also requested to speak with the lawyer handling my case before my court date. The lawyer called me promptly and said he was going to do his best to get the ticket removed. Few hours after my court date time, I received a call from The Ticket Clinic saying the cop did show up but they were still able to get the ticket removed. I moved and completely forgot about the tickets. When I went to renew my drivers license, Oopsie, I couldn't renew it because my license was suspended. I honest to God didn't care. My husband drove me everywhere. And I was good with not driving. People are crazy drivers these days. Fast forward to April 29, 2022 - my husband passed away from a heart attack. I had to somehow get my drivers license back. I called Drivers defense and was very pleasantly surprised that they actually took my phone call and they received my drivers abstract for me. They then asked me if I wanted them to defend me in my ticket case and I said what the heck why not. My tickets were so old that they did not exist anymore. No one could find my tickets. Drivers defense explained to the judge my situation, and the judge dismissed my case. It isn't even on my driving record. Drivers defense is not a scam.
