When picking up 45 minutes later, we were immediately greeted by several workers. Not sure what I expected but the inside is much smaller than it looks from the outside. Just a few seats at two small tables with a larger patio outside. Order was ready when promised. Counter person asked if we wanted cheese and peppers. I would have forgotten if he wouldn't have asked so it was a nice touch. Drove 30 minutes home. Pizza was still warm. Baked nicely with just the right amount of sauce and cheese ratio. Wings good size but from the drive the steam made then a little soggy. Even though we ordered mild (medium is our norm, but not a Jet's option) these wings had a kick. Good tasting Buffalo sauce. Really good house made ranch. I'd probably give them five stars if I could have tasted everything piping hot. Prices competitive to most pizzerias in the area. I will definitely order from them again, if even just for a quick slice. We really need to try the Detroit style next time.

Whoever the employee working there was very nice however. They gave us the wrong order initially and came running out to our car to give us the right one, and let us keep the wrong one as well. Not sure if we just caught them at a bad time and it was a one-off situation, but was pretty disappointed with the pizza.

Grandioso Is the Real Deal…read more Grandioso may be a new spot in Downtown Phoenix off Grand Avenue, but don't let that fool you -- it's being run by the legendary Justin Piazza, and you can tell they know exactly what they're doing. I stopped by and grabbed the Cheezus pizza, and WOW. This might be the best pizza I've had on this side of the country. The crust is super thin, light, airy, and perfectly crispy without being heavy or greasy. The dough has that perfect balance where you could honestly sit there and eat the entire pie without even realizing it. The cheese-to-sauce ratio was spot on, and every bite had that classic New York-style feel I'm always looking for. Finding a legit thin, crispy New York-style pizza outside of New York is no easy task, but Grandioso absolutely nailed it. And here's my advice: RUN, DON'T WALK. This place is new, but I have a feeling it won't stay a secret for long. Give it a little time and I wouldn't be surprised if the line is wrapped around the corner. Get there now while you can still walk right in -- because once everyone catches on, you're going to wish you tried it sooner. Grandioso is officially on my pizza rotation.
