As long as you know prior to going in that it's a typical thrift store then you won't be surprised or disappointed. The store is well organized & clean. Shelves of typical glassware, shoes, toys, books and small appliances. Prices were average for the area. Just makes me wonder where all the could be donations from all the construction in the area ends up. I guess it doesn't say anywhere the store has to sell building materials, but that's what I'm used to. Worth a looksie, but not for that small, random piece of laminate you need.

I'll probably still visit this store on my next trip to Leavenworth, but it really rubbed me the wrong way that we supported this store and these grouchy associates on that particular day.

When reaching for the door handle I said to my husband, "Get ready, I bet this place smells like my grandma's house." No. It smells like tide pods and dryer sheets. All of the clothes smell freshly laundered. How do they do it? I'm not sure, but about half of the store is clothing and they are all nice and clean, so they must sort through their items pretty intensely before putting them out for sale. The prices were decent, and while I didn't find any special treasures to take home, I would definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Leavenworth.

For a thrift store, it was uncluttered and well organized, which made shopping a real pleasure. There wasn't a ton of racks with tons of items stuffed on them, which is what usually keeps me out of thrift stores. What I found was a really wonderful selection of items to browse through in every category. I never felt overwhelmed with browsing and felt I was able to find just what I was looking for. The proprietor was a lovely woman who was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to visit again to see what new treasures I can find!

They discovered that someone literally put a piece of scotch tape inside my watch. They removed the tape, replaced the battery and found the screw needed to hold the works together. No tape was needed! While waiting, I was shown several ladies watches. I purchased a vintage Gucci watch and couldn't be happier with it. Since my first visit, I've returned to have 2 watches sized (links removed) to fit my tiny wrists. I have another watch that will need resized, and I will also be using these fantastic people to help with that.
