The space is very clean and staff wiped down the chair before I sat in and I saw them wipe it down after. As for my eyebrows, the woman (I assume was Maya, but could be wrong) was very meticulous and took her time! I am so happy with my service. She proceeded to tell her what she wanted (to color her hair platinum) they talked about the process and she was told that it would be two appointment for the process. Again another shitshow but some how managed to get through it. So my wife had made a follow up appointment with the owner to finish her coloring and hair style appointment. 1st error owner doesn't provide a hair book, 2nd error owner doesn't remember what she had done previously, 3rd error owner spent over two hours putting foil on hair 4th error owner starts panicking because the color or what ever she is doing is not working 5th error owner is on phone asking what to do and phone goes on speaker by accident and automatic hangs up then proceed to ask my wife "who dye her hair last, what color did they used" my wife proceeded to tell her that it was her(owner) 6th error owner proceeded to tell my wife "oh your hair is is turning sea green color , let me fix it, oh sorry now it's a blueish gray oh and by the way (I'M GOING TO CHARGE YOU FOR ALL THE COLOR AND FOIL AND CRAP THAT I USED TO FIX/TRY TO FIX MY ERROR) the prices is ($300 for a horrible horrible hair coloring job and not even a hair cut just color) -So by this time after hearing the total price my wife is in shock trying to hold her anger and tears and doesn't know what to say so she pays and leave because she didn't want her hair to fall. -So now I'm in the process of getting the money that she had to over pay for someone else mistake. Brooke took the time to talk with me about my hair before shampooing - this is always appreciated! We talked about how I like to style my hair and the products that I like to use. We agreed on a style and cut before going to shampoo. As a first time customer, I was treated to a detox shampoo, which was really great as I use a lot of products in styling, and it was great to get off build up of products. The results are terrific. I am very pleased with my cut and styling, and I'm kicking myself for going into Boston for cuts when Philosophe is practically in my back yard. Last note... the salon is beautiful! From the street, it looks like a ho-hum street front salon. It's not. It is gorgeous inside, and I felt very pampered in the process, which, for me, is part of the experience. Well done, ladies!
