I was at Regis for short term rehab because of an amputation of the small toe on my left foot (March 2024), which had a previous amputation of the left big toe in 2012. I was at Regis to get stronger and functional to go back home; now under home health care as well. Ms Cruz helped me so much with even picking up my mail from my apartment's mailbox and bringing it to me at the center to making it easier to be released when I was strong enough to go home. The latest thing she helped me with was SSA (Social Security) wrongfully reduced my benefits because they stated that I was living at the care center but I was discharged on July 18th! So Ma Cruz sent SSA my discharge paper and a letter explaining that I was discharged on July 18th. I'm very grateful to her and some other kind, compassionate staff at Regis Care Center. Sincerely, Erobogha Azeza

It is also very well kept, from the grounds to the physical plant, which is quite well-maintained and CLEAN. I find most everyone professional, accommodating and respectful. In fact, most people I have encountered here have expressed that they "love this job." The primary reason for my being admitted here is for wound care. The wound care providers are like none I have ever seen. They are very conscientious and fastidious. I can't compliment them enough! The physical and occupational therapy provided is top-notch. Clients are not warehoused, nor are they left to linger between "sets." The entirety of the staff is mindful and take note of all of the clientele. This facility's ONLY downfall is in its delivery of food services. I am at a loss to understand how it can be so deficient when every other department is wholly on point. I dare say that if there was improvement in this department, they might NEVER experience a low census, as I would expect people to be knocking down the door to receive their care.

After my total knee replacement surgery on April 30th, my doctor referred me to a list of physical…read moretherapy providers. Since Burke in White Plains didn't have any available appointments, I decided to return to Elite Physical Therapy in Purchase, NY--a clinic I had previously visited in March for a meniscus tear. During that earlier experience, I felt the care lacked follow-through and personal attention. When I returned after surgery, I specifically requested not to be paired with the same therapist, but unfortunately, that request was not honored. From the beginning, I made it clear that I needed a focused, one-on-one recovery experience. Despite expressing that, I encountered several issues that ultimately led me to seek care elsewhere: * Limited engagement during sessions; exercises were shown but not followed up on * No structured weekly progress reviews or therapy plan adjustments * The therapist seemed to be juggling too many clients at once, which left little room for individual attention * I mentioned having a preexisting back issue, but was still placed in a position that led to numbness in my leg * The clinic felt overcrowded and lacked the staffing needed for more attentive care * After 8 weeks of consistent therapy, I saw little to no improvement While the staff were polite and well-intentioned, the overall environment and structure did not meet the level of care I needed for a successful post-surgery recovery. Additionally, the facility itself feels too small for the volume of patients it handles and could benefit from a deeper focus on cleanliness and general upkeep. In the end, I chose to continue my therapy elsewhere--and have seen real progress since making that change. I hope this review is helpful to others considering Elite Physical Therapy in Purchase, especially those in need of individualized, attentive post-operative care.

Burke Rehabilitation was chosen, and it was one of the best decisions I could have made by taking the advice of those who cared about me. Burke is an amazing place, with a dedicated and caring staff. I have never been to a facility that was run with such precision. From the doctors, the nurses, the nurses' aides, to the PT and OT professionals, EVERYONE in this facility, had only one thing in mind . . . to assist and rehabilitate those in their charge. I especially want to recognize the nurses' aides who cared so deeply for the people they were helping, who comforted me when I had a difficult day and cheered me up when I was sad. Their "can-do" attitude was some of the best medicine available. I left Burke feeling that I had truly been to a place where commitment and caring was all that mattered. Thank you Burke for making me feel at home, cared for and valued.

They are not only the best group of physical therapists I have ever come across, but they are a lot of fun to be around. They have already helped me get back onto mat faster than anyone expected. I have another surgery coming up and I plan on going back there to recover. The only negative is that one of the women who works the front desk is a pain to deal with. But you don't go there to deal with the people at the front desk, you go there for therapy. She wouldn't give me her name, she didnt have any sort of professionalism and left me at a loss on how to initiate the conversation that involves me handing them my hard earned dollars. when i asked her what steps i could take to move forward with evergreen choice after an incredibly unfriendly silence she literally said "if you're looking for a job you can go to our website" talking to that woman was like the textbook example of how not to make a sale. When the owner, Ann, called she was just as unfriendly as the nameless entity that represents her business. Ann told me, quite rudely, after i laid out that i wanted someone to come to my grandmothers home 3 days a week for 4 hours a day, That the time i needed someone to watch my grandmother was not worth it to the caretakers and if i couldnt bump the time up to at least 6 hours a day no one would take the job and it would be a 'revolving door of caretakers'. I understand what she was saying, but she reduced my elderly grandmother, that i care deeply about, to a job and a job that isnt worth it to the people she chose to surround herself with and represent her brand. I cannot figure out how am i supposed to trust Ann enough to have someone she chose watch my grandmother, largely unsupervised, when she cant even get it together enough to sound slightly kind at all over the phone. Speaking to her offended me, made me feel like i was imposing on her, and also like my grandmother was too burdensome for Ms. Ann without a larger payout. Not feelings that made my heart smile about handing thousands of dollars to her. If Evergreen choice's over the phone service is so unfriendly and brusque i cant imagine their caretakers are much kinder. Not the sort of people i would want looking after my freaking grandmother. Whatever entity on behalf of evergreen choice answered their phone needs to be retrained and Ann needs to take a hard look at her branding strategy. The way to get people to pay you is NOT to tell them that the person they care about isnt worth it or lucrative enough for you. Meanie.
