Spring Roll for DH, Tom Yum Prawn soup for me. Both very good - the soup was especially nice with large shrimp and oyster mushrooms. For lunch, I had a Prawn and Noodle salad, DH had Chicken Gourmet Noodles with chicken. Both very tasty, fresh, well-seasoned. The owner asked me how I liked the salad, since it's a new menu item. It's a keeper. Thanks for a great lunch!

I did try 3 other places for Thai in Manly before coming here and Seaside Thai was definitely the best for both food and atmosphere. It's upstairs a maybe just a bit difficult to locate but take the time to find it, it's worth it. It overlooks the beach and has great views and cool breezes in the evenings, you won't see the actual sunset but the breaking waves may be better anyway. I usually eat early and had no trouble getting a good table, if you eat like normal people you should probably make sure and book, it can get crowded. Try basil free range chicken, described as Thai everyday comfort food on menu, I believe it because it's so good I would eat this stuff every day. Chicken satay is also excellent and seems like a bargain. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend

Chicken noodle soup was spot on. I think I ate too much two hours before, so my stomach wasn't feeling well at all when I over ordered here! I got excited on their 5 dollar grubs and Tom Yum soup. It's like a hole in the wall kind of place. Service was great and I like the down to earth vibes here. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, as usual. Got my yummy Thai craving on!

You're gonna need it, this is authentic Thai, they don't scrimp on the spice. This used to be a very regular lunchtime haunt for me because it wasn't very busy and @ $7.90 for my favourite dish (which is a generous serve), it was almost impossible to avoid at least once a week. However it seems that word has gotten around because it can be very busy at lunch times. I usually opt for pork pad krapao cos it's a great serve but have tried other dishes too. The pork two ways (belly and bbq) is a bigger dish but is also outside their $8 lunch sweetspot! The only real gripe I have with the place is that the seating outside attracts smokers. Most people hate smokers whilst they are eating, and it's probably illegal but you know what inconsiderate ign'ant peeps are like, they just don't care.

Our food was ready when it said it would be and only a 12 minute walk from our hotel. We ordered money bags, chicken satay, yellow curry with tofu and vegetables, Tom yum fried rice, and chili and basil with vegetables. Absolutely loved the chicken satay. Holy moly. The money bags were delicious too. The sweet potato and sweet chili sauce really complimented each other. My friend enjoyed her yellow curry which was to her spice tolerance. I enjoyed the spicy chili and basil with veggies! They didn't hold back on the spice! The entrees didn't come with rice so we were glad we ordered the Tom yum rice.
