Great food, generous portions, and a quaint atmosphere. We got the lavender tea, which was great, along with the French onion soup, tuna sandwich, and Brie and prosciutto sandwich. Everything was delicious and satisfying. The service could have been a little better, but there were also a lot of people, so I understand it was probably a busy day. Overall, a lovely spot with great food! read more

The Tea Room - Desserts Near Me - Miami, Florida

Went for a last minute brunch with my girls. It was our first time and didn't know we had to make reservations for the high tea set so we didn't get to try it. We went with lunch entrees. I got the lunch special, grilled salmon with mango sauce. It was sooo good!! I almost ordered a second plate if we weren't going to make more food stops after!! Can't wait to come back again both for the salmon and high tea. Took 1 star off because the place was too cramped. It's a busy place so I'm not talking about too many people. I just wish they space out the tables more. I wasn't super comfortable with how close each tables are and narrow the paths are. Not a deal breaker. But a little letdown from my expectation. read more

Stepping in through the front door I was pleasantly surprised at all the gorgeously hand painted teacups, antique jewelry and crafts that were gently priced. The moment you enter the large dining area where my two friends and I were seated, we felt like we were transported into the Victorian Era. Besides a variety of teas, the Tea Room at Cauley Square provided extensive breakfast and lunch menus to choose from. The creamy spinach soup was delicious and our entrees were perfectly seasoned and oh, so good! Our server was friendly and offered to take our picture which was nice. After lunch, we strolled down Cauley Square visiting the craft shops filled with handmade jewelry, macrame/embroidered suncatchers and so much more. Be sure to visit the serene garden across the street from the Tea Room which is a perfect backdrop for capturing the moment with pictures :) read more

I went here for a Christmas event and it was such a cute and enjoyable experience! This is a hidden gem in Miami. A lot bigger inside, different rooms and areas to explore. I tried a bunch of their food, sweets, and teas. I really enjoyed them all. If you want to celebrate a special occasion or know someone who loves tea, this is a great spot to take them! read more

I was only able to eat half of it and enjoyed the rest at home. The service was great! Out server was super attentive. Lastly, the price is pretty decent not too pricey for delicious and good amount of food read more

Had reservations and had to wait almost 1 hour to be seated. Then we had bad service for the waitress.. then they dropped a pot of tea on the table and the plate broke. Very disappointing and the service was very bad. The tea came at the end of our meal after we asked for it several times. Overall, avoid this trap. It's expensive and the food is below average. read more

I had such a lovely experience at The Tea Room in Vault Square! The atmosphere was beautiful, cozy, and had such a charming tea-room feel. The food was absolutely delicious, and I really enjoyed being able to order different teas by the pot and share them with the table. It made the whole experience feel extra special and fun. The service could have been a little better, but the restaurant was very crowded when we visited, so I completely understand that it was a busy time. Overall, I really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back to try more of the teas and food! read more

Another visit, this time for high tea. You have to pre order it. We did, and it was delightful. Service was efficient and friendly. Everything we sampled we enjoyed. We did however not particularly like the chocolate chip scone. Normally scones are pretty plain as you add butter, jam, clotted cream to them (I am English, so should know). This was more like a cake. The mini sandwiches were on point. You also get to choose a tea of your choice which they bring in your own tea pot. I tried a lavender, one which I really enjoyed. I wish they had asked if we would like some more hot water to top up the pot. If you want a decadent treat, English style, I would recommend. read more

I loved this place!!! I've been wanting to go for some time. I did not plan to go when I did s I was a bit disappointed that the wait was 50mins but they were so nice, since it was just me, I got a table in 20mins. Not only that, I wanted the afternoon tea and was heartbroken when the server told me I needed a reservation for tea! But he asked and I was able to get it. It was meant to be! The service was exceptional from the moment I walked in. I loved the decoration and all the tea cups they sell. The menu looked very good, I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying out other things. read more

Oh my God so freaking cute. What a great experience. Service was great. The kids loved it. We got the priest set menu and honestly, it brought a good amount of everything. Just make sure that when you order the tea you tell them what you like cause then they'll be able to educate you on what to get. The good thing is that they had honey and it really helped with the tea. The entire setting of it is very old school tea house, which is amazing because you don't get that feeling in any other place in Miami. There are also surrounding little shops and things to look at super cute very Instagramable. read more

The experience was amazing. Customer service is amazing, but the food is top-tier or chefs kiss.I have not had one thing there that was not delicious or fresh. The best part is the tea! The variety of teas, the carefully thought about blends and the delicious aroma they give off. ..... sensational. Did I mention the ambiance is cozy, and the decor perfect for a tea house. read more

Must say that if you like brunching in a quaint Victorian style restaurant this place is for you. Not sophisticated at all, very cute ambiance. Can be nice place to get together with the girlfriends or lunch date. About the food, totally amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. I was able to catch some pics of our dishes before it was gone. The service was great and waitress was helpful when asked about food options. Definitely will be going back soon. read more

If venturing for traditional tea experience you need to make a reservation, and when they send you back a confirmation scroll down to end to add your credit card for payment. This quaint tea room has been around forever, & I've always wanted to go but waited to celebrate a moment with my daughter as part of her birthday gift. Famous for their tea sandwiches on the middle tier of cucumber, salmon/cream cheese, vegetable/feta wrap, chicken salad, & prosciutto/cheese sandwiches all tasty and great. This spice girl needed some island pepper sauce to add to some. Top tier had cheesecakes, banana walnut cake, & macaroons. Bottom tier had scones of blueberry and cinnamon with butter and not clotted cream ( traditional for an English tea time.) I had heard about their onion soup and it did not disappoint and was really reasonable. There were young and elderly patrons, single diners, medium to larger groups for the lunch hour and they had a lunch menu which looked enticing and definitely looked like I needed to go back just for that, with a variety. This changes based on supply and local sourcing. The decor was a little overloaded and my daughter did mention that if they had porcelain dolls in laced dresses she would feel a movie coming to life and bring the creepy out. I say it's quaint with the variety of tea pots, plates and cups available for purchase as well as other items around the 4 rooms. Again definitely another field trip adventure to further see the rooms, what they had to offer and definitely to try the lunches which looked really interesting from nearby patrons. What a cute little tea room! I was there recently for a scholarship brunch - and it was such a fun location. First, I loved the tea variety and how everyone got a unique cup and teapot - they truly have such a beautiful location. I ordered the quiche and the portions are huge! And it was, arguably, the best quiche I've ever had - it was moist, hearty, cheesy and had this delicious sauce. I definitely need to return to try their high-tea experience! read more

Great and unique experience. The Victorian decor, service, and food were great. I would recommend if you want a new experience for brunch.

Wonderful place! Food is great! The Wedding tea is the most delicious tea I have ever had. The French Onion soup, amazing! We ordered the finger sandwiches with ambrosia to share and two onion soups. Highly recommend ! We had to wait , but afterwards, they serve you quickly. The ambience is unique, every room different and the servers and staff, superb! Will not disappoint! PS they also have bistro food. read more

Went to the Tea Room for brunch with family and friends. We were a party of six and weren't seated until everyone arrived, which was a bit inconvenient. Service was fine -- not bad, but nothing remarkable either, and not worth the 20% that is added automatically! Major drawback if you ask me. This trend is becoming common, but it feels off-putting and unnecessary. The ambience is vintage with old furniture, teacups, and décor, but it gives the impression of being worn rather than charming -- it looks dated in a way that comes across as unclean, even if it isn't. As for the food, it was just okay and didn't live up to the hype, though the coffee was excellent. Staff were kind, but overall, the experience didn't leave me wanting to return. read more

El brunch de aquí es como el que uno tuviera en Bridgerton. Muy recomendado para una salida de amigas, o con mujeres de tu familia. This place is wonderful, I went for my daughter's birthday party today. First of all, the location is beautiful and very special -- tea cups and old antiques are everywhere on the walls. The service was great, our food came out before our drinks did and that was unusual. I had the Eggs Benedict with Nova Scotia and grits (mixed with cheddar). For some reason, they gave me extra big bowl of grits. It was almost uncomfortably big but isn't enough of a reason to bump down the rating or anything. Everyone's food was excellent and served at a fast pace. Hope to be back here to enjoy the atmosphere! read more

We went here for Christmas high tea and had a wonderful time! This place was a bit off the beaten path but so worth it. It's located in a cross between a cute old house and shopfront. The tower of treats was great, from the sandwiches to the scones to the sweets on top. They decorated the place really cutely for the holidays. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend checking this place out! read more

Booked for my birthday tea and I must say the reservation process is less than ideal. For a group of 12, you must pay $15pp on one card and the remainder is paid day of. That meant, I paid for my whole party and then had to collect payment from them. Not fun for the birthday girl. The holiday afternoon tea was lovely although the service could have been quicker and more hands on. Many of us would have liked to have had hot water refilled but didn't. The pastries and sandwiches on the tower were very tasty. My tea was also very yummy. The interior is charming. Parking is difficult on the weekend especially with the holiday market that was going on that day. read more

The Tea Room is a charming spot to enjoy breakfast with the family. I ordered the French toast with chocolate chips, potatoes, and a side of bacon. Despite arriving with a large party of nine, the service was surprisingly good, which was impressive given our group size. My son had the kids' pancake, which was enormous--he had plenty of leftovers, and it also came with a side of potatoes. I tried their mocha latte, and while it was delicious, I wished there was more of it; a few sips, and it was already gone, plus it wasn't as hot as I would have liked. Overall, it was a great breakfast experience, albeit a bit pricey, but I think it was worth it. I would definitely come back, but next time, I'd consider renting a section for our party so we can try the tower of sandwiches and treats. read more

Food was very delicious, served hot and fresh. I came here once for lunch with a friend and had the French onion soup which is so good. I also came back for a birthday brunch with my family and had French toast, eggs with additional toppings, and lavender tea. The service was very nice and the server even cautioned that adding additional toppings to the scrambled eggs would have additional costs in case I didn't know that. But I'm glad I added all the add ins because it was a deliciously prepared loaded scramble. Yum! I always invite my friends here when they are in town. I have been coming here for years. I love this place! It is wayyy down south, but it is well worth the drive. Parking is available on the street for free, and I can usually find a spot on the main street by being patient. If not, there is parking in a separate lot down the block. My favorite teas are the Wedding Blend and the Magicienne. The Spice tea is great when it is a big cooler outside. I order the vegetarian high tea with the soup and quiche. Their soups are always delicious. Even though I don't normally get excited over a lentil soup, they have one of the best I've tried. My husband and friends, who are not vegetarian, often order the French onion soup, which is covered in delicious gooey cheese. As you can see in these photos, they often change things up, especially with the desserts. I've never been disappointed. My favorite is probably the key lime pie desserts they have. The ingredients feel fresh and like they were prepared with care. For the afternoon and high tea services, you have to make the reservation 24 hours in advance with their online form, which is not the easiest to fill out. If they made it a fill-in-the-blank PDF, this would make it much easier to navigate. Even though the new requirement of putting down a credit card for the service can be a hassle, it is well worth it for their tea services. We've seen it grow in popularity in the last few years, so it makes sense. Even if we've had to wait an hour or so to be seated, Cauley Square is a cute place to wander through the outdoorsy areas or the local shops. It can be hectic in the front of the restaurant, but once you sit down, the servers are been sweet and accommodating. read more
