BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (www.sipjojo.com) This place is probably as legitimate as you can get to a real tea tasting somewhere in Asia. No sweeteners, no honey, no creamers and no food. This is straight up tea education and a tea tasting that allows you to really and truly taste your tea. Whether you pick up hints of citrus and/or vanilla- it's amazing to understand how different processes can affect the leaves as well as the taste. You're kind of transported to another little world when you go. It's inside a random building on the third floor- down the hallway and in a room. It's got an industrial yet primitive feel to it....exactly the way you want it to look for what you're about to have. Our particular tasting was 4 people- and we sat at the tea tasting bar. Our tea genius was Michael- homegrown Belen graduate but don't let that fool you. The guy has studied and traveled enough to fuel his passion and it's evident in the way he carries thru the session. Nicest guy ever! If you're into teas, real tea...then you will definitely appreciate this tea experience.

I attended a tea tasting at JoJo Tea a few Saturdays ago and it was quite the treat! The host was extremely knowledgeable about what regions the leaves came from, how they were processed and handled, and how to brew the teas. She was very proud of her Chinese roots and it was clear that tea was a focal point of her life since childhood. I believe we tasted 9-10 different brews, including some more rare or expensive variations. The entire experience lasted about an hour and a half, well worth the $25 per person.

I pulled up to the building and I was worried... but what a surprise! I walked into the tiny tea room and I felt like I was transported somewhere far far away for the next 2 hours. The experience was so much more than a quick cup of tea... I learned SO much. Tico was our tea tasting guide and he was amazing. It was unforgettable and I highly recommend the experience.

What a unique experience to have in Miami! All the tea is so tasty. I learned a lot from the tasting. I drink their tea all over Miami now.

I arrived and was greeted by the host, as I sat down at a beautiful table made specifically for the purpose of serving tea.

The staff is super friendly and the food is fresh. They have complimentary water for those waiting for their meals. I ordered the poke bowl and my date ordered the beef ramen. The poke was delicious yet a bit small but I was able to build my own from scratch. He stated his ramen was a bit unflavorful and ranked it a 4/5. It is a bit pricey here so I would expect a little more in regard to portion size and taste. I would come back in the near future for my poke fix for sure!

You can truly make your bowl unique and as savory or as sweet as you'd like it. They don't skimp on the fish or the toppings! The tuna and salmon are very fresh, as are the various fruit toppings (mango), crispy onions, corn, edamame etc. that are on offer. Next time, I will be tempted to try have some boba tea with my poke bowl order. I have only ordered takeout from here but encounter warm and very quick service each time. No wonder why they've even able to expand to multiple locations across Miami-Dade and Broward County!

I stopped in for a weekday breakfast and coffee before a morning meeting, and the atmosphere was exactly what I needed to get in the right headspace. The outdoor patio dining is the standout here--it gives off strong Parisian vibes. The décor, specifically the patterned bistro chairs, feels like it was plucked straight from a street in France. It's a great setting for a low-key outdoor meal where you can actually enjoy the morning air. The service is a straightforward counter-order system, but the delivery to the table was impressively quick. I ordered an Americano, and it was pulled perfectly--bold, smooth, and exactly the quality you want from a specialty cafe. I went with the Greek Omelette, which was prepared well and hit all the right savory notes. A surprising highlight was the toasted bread on the side. It was soft with a subtle, pleasant sweetness that paired perfectly with the omelette. Whether you're looking for a quick bite before work or a scenic spot to linger over a second cup of coffee, Crema Gourmet delivers a high-quality experience with a great aesthetic. Luciano and Pedro Brilho were determined to bring their love of Brazilian brigadeiros to their adopted country of the United States. Opened in May of 2015, they were the first chocolate Brigadeiro shop in Florida. What are brigadeiros you might wonder? For the uninitiated they are a Brazilian bonbon, created in the 1940s and named after Brigadier Eduardo Gomes (apparently a good looking single fellow with an legion of admiring female fans). You usually find brigadeiros at birthday parties in Brazil. Although they are typically chocolate, you can find them in a variety of flavors here. Ingredients include sweet condensed milk, flavoring (cocoa powder) and butter. The candy is hand rolled and can be stored at room temperature for up to three days. The brigadeiros here are tiny and depending on how many you buy, run around $2 apiece. Brigadeiro offers 15 flavors including churro, Nutella, dulce de leche, Romeo and Juliet (guava), pistachio, rainbow, white chocolate, and their top seller Oh My Gosh which received it's name from what customers said the first time they tried it. "OH MY GOSH" They also sell cakes by the slice and in jars. They even have coffee cups covered in candy for the most amazing looking cappuccinos. Their Nutella cappuccino reached 16 million views on the internet and became viral in Miami. I had previously visited their store in the MiMo district. This Oh My Gosh is located on the first floor of Julia and Henry food hall in downtown Miami. I bought a sprinkle and original OMG to go for $5. They are packaged beautifully like jewels in a tiny box. The creamy brigadeiro's are very addicting and they make the perfect little sweet pick me up.
