A couple interesting pieces but nothing that really stood out. Almost bought a wooden wall hanging but then realized it was Hobby Lobby. There was ample space in the aisles to bring my toddler in a stroller (had my baby in a front carrier). There is a bathroom for customers. My husband and I ended up chatting with Danny, who runs the shop, and we could have stayed there talking for hours. He was so welcoming and had so many great stories about the local area, the growth around Buda, and of course all the amazing nostalgia pieces packed inside the store. The shop itself is awesome. You can tell Danny and his wife (who we didn't get the pleasure of meeting) puts a lot of heart and care into curating everything. It's the kind of place where you find little treasures tucked into every corner. From vintage shirts to classic antiques, everything has a story behind it. We honestly went in because of a t-shirt, but left feeling like we got a little glimpse into Buda's past too. Definitely a must-stop if you're in the area. My kids were very excited to shop around for toys. My little one dropped one toy to the floor, then the owner yelled to both of them. Ordered them to put down all the toys and not touching anything any more. After that, my kids were getting terrified literally and refused to enter any store on that street. We have never been treated this way before. How you are treating customers is also the way you treat other people. Be careful of this store if you are considering about it. Google review is not true. It definitely leans toward the grotesque which makes for an interesting browsing experience. Creepy dolls, haunted masks, odd surrealist art, a lot of funky religious pieces.
