Eggplant Piccatta

I just received my third food delivery from The Tasteful Kitchen, and the meals continue to be GREAT! The ingredients taste really fresh and and the selection and variety is good. I love that they are 100% vegan. I just polished off the Eggplant Piccatta. Fabulous! The eggplant was cooked to perfection, as were the asparagus. It came with a rice medley and a delightful caper sauce that really set everything off. I'm so happy that these guys are doing food delivery. I've tried several on-line vegan food delivery services, but none of them come close to being this good.

Beet burger. Everything was good except for the sauce on the burger which i think had horseradish.

My guest and I enjoyed a nice elegant dinner while visiting Tucson. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fresh and delicious. Almost everything on the menu was vegan. The decor was elegant and cozy. My guest and I ordered the collard green wrap appetizer. Seriously mind-blowing freshness and flavor. Absolutely delicious. I ordered the beet burger. The burger itself was good as well as its accompaniments. I did not care for the sauce on the burger which seemed to have horseradish in it. My guest ordered the herb roasted cauliflower dish which was served with roasted tomatoes, pesto, potatoes and collard greens. Ah-mazing. The sauce on the cauliflower was so good! The cauliflower was perfectly roasted. I would recommend that dish to anyone. We were so full from dinner and appetizer that we did not have room for dessert unfortunately. The manager visited our table several times and seemed to genuinely care for the guests, which was nice. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and also recommend making a reservation.

A must if you stay in Tucson and you're looking for Vegan food.

Well deserved review, like really! While in Tucson for a business trip I come across The Tasteful Kitchen. First, make sure to make a reservation, they rarely take walk in, we were lucky as a walk in or probably looked extremely tired or hungry, lol. It's quite hidden in Tucson, AZ. You'll park in the back not the front street, and you'll see the orange house. Everything in Tucson is very personal and cute. Enough parking, just an FYI. The restaurant is not big but has enough tables, but the waiting is tiny, but they do offer sitting outside. A unisex restroom kept clean next to the waiting area. Now, beauty is in the food. Holy, mother earth, I would drive 6.5 hours just to go back and eat. Their food is the bomb, no lie. It's the bomb! My favorite starter is the jicama street tacos, and sushi rolls, and the blueberry basil drink. For Entrée the Cauliflower steak is to die for which will come with a soup or salad. It makes you never miss the meat again, everything was well thought when creating this dish. Big enough to share, or just pig out as I did. Dessert: Banana bread, and holy mother of all desserts, these dishes have nothing on Morton's steak house and priced amazing without making you go broke. Warm enough to melt in your mouth, the right amount of crunch and you can taste the banana so deliciously. I swear I'm driving back just to have dinner. We ordered so much food and we paid $46 with tip each with a good friend of mine.

The tasteful kitchen is ..... tasteful ! Vegetarian / vegan food does not mean boring bland food or just salad and tasteful kitchen proves it by their flavorful, delicious and appetizing plant-based food. The menu is very creative, unique but limited. The recipes seem to be inspired by many different cuisines from all over the world. For example, the appetizer special for the day we dined were peppers sauteed with garlic and sauce, a very much asian style recipe and very delicious as well. Their signature cauliflower steak seemed to be Italian style and was really flavorful, yummy and filling. If you'd like to eat mexican they have tacos and if you'd like to eat japanese, they even have a vegetarian sushi for you. The mocktails on the menu were not that impressive but the desserts are pretty good. Don't leave without tasting the chocolate covered dates stuffed with pecan. Food presentation is very pretty and tempting. Portions are huge, 1 entree can easily be shared by two. The restaurant is located in a small building with not so inviting exterior, the interior also seems old, but still has a classy vibe with the nice music, awesome service and the table set-up.

Stopped by during a working lunch and was glad I did. I wasn't aware it's not a place you go to when you're pressed for time, but that staff was so accommodating with getting us our food out fast, yet still tasty and fresh. We both opted for the blue corn crusted cauliflower with a salad. The salad tasted fresh and the vinaigrette was light and tasty. The main dish also had sweet potatoes and other veggies. The atmosphere is an ideal date night or gals night out spot. They even have a $7 cork service so you can bring your own wine and beer. Best of all they have GF and vegan options!

Fantastic food, great service! This was my first time eating here and I enjoyed every moment of it. My friend and I sat at a little table and were quickly greeted by our very pleasant server who was more than happy to answer any question we had about he food. Since I'm a gluten-free vegan finding places I can eat is an adventure for me, so you can imagine how delighted I was to find this restaurant. Once we placed our order, the food was served in a timely fashion and every bite was delightful and bursting of flavor. I was so impressed with the creativity these meals consisted of. And my friend, who is not vegan, enjoyed her meal just as much as I enjoyed mine. Highly recommended for any individual who loves great service and amazing meals!

While I'm not vegan or vegetarian, I found my cauliflower steak to be excellent. Cooked just right with great flavors and a delicious sauce. Asparagus and potatoes on the side were also great. I enjoyed the carrot cake for dessert too. Their $7 cork fee is very reasonable (where I live it's typically $30!). Service was good, and having one of the owners come by and talk with us a few times was also a nice touch. All the food was great and I'd return for that (and I give the food 4 stars!). However, I removed a star because they charge a 3.9% to pay with a credit card. For a restaurant that charges $20 an entree, I find it ridiculous to pass this cost on to customers in this way. I've never seen a restaurant at this price point do this to customers. It left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) after an otherwise good experience. I suggest that instead of charging a fee to pay with a credit card, they instead build the fees into the cost of their dishes to improve the experience of credit card paying customers.

Had a great experience dining at Tasteful Kitchen when my family came to visit! Salad and dressing was very flavorful! The TK Sushi Roll was incredible, so so flavorful and I couldn't even tell it wasn't rice but perfectly cooked eggplant! We were debating picking some up the next day again because it was so good. Highly recommend Sunflower street tacos: also great, but not quite sushi level of deliciousness. Very inventive and healthy. Herb Crusted Cauliflower Steak: well plated, healthy, good but probably the least flavorful of all the delicious dishes Deserts (carrot cake and a chocolate dessert) were both great as well! Will definitely return, great for special occasions!

After living in Tucson for a year, I finally got the chance to check this place out. Being vegan in Tucson is difficult- you don't have too many options for going out to dinner, and when you do, they're not great. My co worker had dinner here a few weeks back and absolutely loved It. She isn't vegetarian or vegan, but couldn't stop raving about this place. Me and my friend went to have dinner on a Friday night, to catch up on life. The ambiance is very relaxing, the owners come and chat with you as you're waiting for your food. Our server Jesus was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, and sweet. He was constantly checking up on us. If I had my own restaurant, I'd definitely hire him. The food was fantastic. The menu is very limited, but all the options sound amazing. You also have the option of doing a four course meal. Soup, salad, main course, and dessert. They were also running a trio special, appetizer, main course, and dessert. I had the trio which had jalapeño poppers, pumpkin cranberry pecan tamale with rice and beans, and then dessert was some kind of banana loaf (don't quite remember). I highly highly recommend this place, if you're vegan or not. The flavors are fantastic and vibrant, and the presentation is amazing too.

Sam was incredibly helpful in creating a vegan-friendly, protein-packed meal. Most places don't allow protein substitutes, but she suggested using chickpeas in their teriyaki rice box, and let me tell you, it was delicious and satiating. The presentation of the food is what you'd call eye candy, and the portions are substantial. This place is definitely worth the visit, a true hidden gem in Tucson. Thanks again Sam!

What a treat. I like the peanut butter and jelly protein smoothie very much. They've updated the look of their menu so it's much better lit when it was previously written out by hand and now it's just much more professional with pictures. The location is very small, but there is seating and a microwave, to heat up and enjoy any of the prepped meals out of the refrigerated cases. I feel that their prepared meals are generous size and usually have trouble eating the whole thing and try to just eat half, saving the other half for lunch the next day. I believe each entrée is $11 and they're made in the morning and they put on their expiration date so if you buy it take it home you know you'll need to eat it in a few days. The labels on the meals are color-coded, and so if you are looking for certain types of meals, look on their website and I'll give you a color key based on the type of diet you're following on which meals to pick. Since I am allergic to celery and fennel, I know that those ingredients are none of their meals and so I know I can safely eat without worrying about allergies. Taking that into account, I love their chipotle meatloaf; a dish that typically has celery mixed in. I've encouraged my friends and they have all agreed that Warfuel kitchen is a great spot for people who interested in getting freshly prepared meals to go.

Again this past weekend, I replaced an older unit with a new, quieter, belt drive, 1/2 HP internet capable unit. I had some problems since Chamberlain made some changes that caused me to have to replace more than just the motor and control unit and the chain. In the past, I could use more of the existing infrastructure like the steel rail and the existing mounting brackets. But I was able to properly do the install, and make some jury rigged solutions to solve my bracket problem. The point of this review is to give them props for the instructions for installation and setup that came with the new unit. They were easy to follow and spot-on in accuracy! Never have I ever installed or assembled something with such accurate and perfect instructions! Especially with a system that is a little complicated and sophisticated. I wonder if the unit and instructions are made in the USA? I would be amazed if this was made in some foreign country like China, due to the perfect English and accuracy of the installation and setup instructions! Kudos to Chamberlain!!

Their garage door opener brands are 1) Chamberlain and 2) Liftmaster. My original garage door opener was a Genie and it last me more than 15 years. When it needed repairs I called a repairman and we both agreed it was time to replace the Genie. This repairman only carried Liftmaster so I went with that brand. I didn't want to have to pay this repair guy and then call another one to install a new Genie. I was foolish to think they're all the same as far as durability/longevity and Boy was I wrong. After 15 months, I came home and garage door wouldn't go up. I thought the electricity went out but when I went inside I was wrong. It just stopped working. I called that same guy back who installed that TRASH and the first thing he asks me was " did it rain?" I told him I think so but nothing serious enough to take out the lights. He then told me the logic board went bad and he doesn't know whether Liftmaster covers after a year. I called Liftmaster and to my surprise they told me something as simple as rain can damage logic board and even if it was within a year they wouldn't cover weather related incidents. I'm on my on. She said it was common for weather to damage logic board. WTF? I paid almost $400.00 for that TRASH and I expect a better quality product. Besides, the 15 years I had my Genie, that NEVER happened. I've never even heard of that BS. Anyway, the repairman says he will " give me a break" and only charge me $225.00 for the logic board part and labor. I said BULLSHIT. I wanted another brand but not from Liftmaster. That's like throwing good money after bad because their products are TRASH. I then went to Home Depot and found another Genie. Not only was it cheaper than that TRASH Liftmaster sells but you get two remotes with the Genie and only one with Liftmaster. The Genie will cost me $278.00 (INSTALLED) with two remotes and a wireless keypad on the outside. I'll spend $53.00 more for a brand new durable Genie opener( that last me 15 years before)as opposed to repairing a TRASHY Liftmaster which would probably break again anyway. Glad I did my homework this time. I only wish I had did it before I purchased that TRASH Liftmaster in the first place. The Chamberlain and the Liftmaster garage door opener brands, STAY AWAY FROM THOSE BRANDS! THEY'RE GARBAGE. Choose Genie!
