I said no, that was not it as it was much smaller around than what I grew up eating, which (in the midwest) is around 6" across. The lady said they've been making Krakow for 40 years, and "that's the way people like it here", and that's that. I asked her if i could show her a picture of what I was talking about. She said it wouldn't do any good (to show a picture). She pretty much ignored me and went on to other tasks. I asked for a taste and she sliced off a piece. It's about 80% taste-wise of what I grew up eating, not nearly garlicky enough but close enough to buy a pound. As she was slicing it, she said "he" makes it once a year right after Thanksgiving and when it's gone, it's gone. So I asked for 2# and said I was going to freeze some. She said it would dry out when frozen so I only got 1#. Perhaps she was really busy, but she didn't seem to have time for me. She was pleasant enough with my requests but not very friendly.
