We shared the Bluelight Special"which is not widely advertised. Todays special was ribs with chicken along with baked beans and potato salad. Also includes a drink. It was so good! The ribs melted in your mouth and the chicken tasted like it just came off the BBQ! Even their beans were very tasty! It was plenty of food to share plus leftovers! What a fun bar in Colusa!…read more My friend told me about this place because it's doggy friendly! It has a full bar and plenty of seating. Local vibe feel! What's confusing is there is an old faded sign above it ( I think it says Sportsman Club) but it is Jameson's on Fifth. Some of the locals mentioned they like it that way to detract visitors. Not sure if that's true. What I can say is they know how to make a stiff drink! Btw...this Fourth of July they will be having festivities including a BBQ cook off and vendors. Colusa is celebrating 250 years as everyone else is this year! Fun place to relax and have a beer or something stronger! Unfortunately I will be in Chico or Grass Valley.

What a huge and welcoming restaurant and bar in Maxwell! You can see the sign off of highway 5 and I went for it! I ordered the prime rib sandwich with garlic fries.
