I had the steak bites with chimichurri and nice garlic glazed bread. DELICIOUS! This is the first time I tried their fish and chips. The cod has a nice crunch on them and was cooked beautifully! Plus crunchy fries! They have a full bar with tvs along with inside and outdoor dining. Great food and menu! Love this place! Thanks Quentin for cooking everything so well! Ps. Dog friendly inside and outdoors!

This place is so cool. Right on the Sacramento River just (literally) a couple minutes outside of downtown Colusa and the vibe is rustic casual. They even have some nice patio and deck space that sits just off the river for nice water views and space for live music, which is always amazing. The service is usually lovely and attentive and the gals who serve there are accomodating and kind. Try the green bean fries - the sauce is bomb and these crowd-pleasers are always crispy and served hot! Burgers are delicious (try the Texas Toothpick burger), too! Nice selection of beer and cocktails too (straight tequila for me) - so yes, they have a FULL BAR! Great place to meet for lunch or after work with friends or even a great place for a family get-together, as they have something for everyone. GO: 5-stars! *****

Visited sunday..no receipt because I did not eat here…read more It's an older establishment with a very small "bar" seating and a few tables. Much smaller than the photos I have seen. I called on Friday to verify their hours since I was planning on coming in over the weekend. The lady said breakfast was served all day and lunch started at 12 noon. That ended up being incorrect as I was rudely corrected when I arrived. When I got there it was extremely loud in there with alot of golfers enjoying their cocktails. It's a small space and people were reaching over us to get a drink. Both the lady that I was trying to order food and the female manager both had attitudes and was a turnoff to be there. Without going into further details this is not a place I would come back to. Maybe just to golf and have a beer but that's it. It is probably satisfactory for the locals to play and hang out with their friends. Counters were not clean. Overall a MISS.

The hostess and waitress do not know how to smile, nor is it in their abilities to know how to make a salad and serve it in an appropriately sized bowl, don't put my salad on a dessert plate. Their ability to put to take an order for a plain hamburger is beyond their capacity. It will take an hour and even then, half raw. wtf? Most workers look completely out of it, and totally hating their jobs. The hate seems to pour into their food, not sure how this place will last. Anyone would be better off staying at home and eating a can of bad soup, then eating the sad plates they serve at this "restaurant".

The ribs melted in your mouth and the chicken tasted like it just came off the BBQ! Even their beans were very tasty! It was plenty of food to share plus leftovers! What a fun bar in Colusa!…read more My friend told me about this place because it's doggy friendly! It has a full bar and plenty of seating. Local vibe feel! What's confusing is there is an old faded sign above it ( I think it says Sportsman Club) but it is Jameson's on Fifth. Some of the locals mentioned they like it that way to detract visitors. Not sure if that's true. What I can say is they know how to make a stiff drink! Btw...this Fourth of July they will be having festivities including a BBQ cook off and vendors. Colusa is celebrating 250 years as everyone else is this year! Fun place to relax and have a beer or something stronger! Unfortunately I will be in Chico or Grass Valley.
