First time customer, and would've been a great experience until I'd come home. I had come here because online there was an email deal for $22 bags. When I arrivef, the seller confirmed and said I could stack the deal and get two for the same price each. I wanted to spend the savings in other products so I shopped around. My wife ends up getting something for herself too and I make the purchase on one transaction to avoid extra fees so I didn't bat an eye on pricing at that time. When I got home I looked at the receipt and noticed that the $22 bag was had not been discounted, and was charged full price (save a generic daily discount they had going on). I didn't notice if there was a first time customer discount available either, but if there was it also wasn't applied. My experience otherwise was great, the options were very good and they had hard to find items. The atmosphere on the other shops on rest of the lot seemed very good too. I would've liked to come back. Unfortunately, having me pay nearly double the price than I intended to was very unpleasing. read more

I'm a pretty regular customer of this location, but had a notably less than pleasant experience on my most recent trip. For starters, there were almost no sativa flower options. It was 98% indica. One thing I usually like about this place is how laid back the employees are. It always feels like a relaxed, easy-going experience, but this time, the blonde lady at the register had extreme corporate manager vibes. Almost felt like she'd never smoked a joint in her life. Just completely performative, fake, customer service voice. Like a perfume counter salesperson. She was also really pushy on upselling, and I didn't like it one bit. The name on the receipt said Kimberly, but I couldn't say if that's definitely the person. read more

At first I was super happy with the prices for 1/2 oz indica, sativa and hybrids then I started trying different strains and they are all baby buds. When I asked for mature flower I was asked rudely do you have a hundred bucks? I've never know a shop to say or ask that. Tonight again I asked for buds that were not baby buds and they were $50 or over for eighths or 5 grams. All the 1/2 oz smelled like hay. Straight up the bud tender even agreed. Very disappointing. You guys were my favorite shop. Please try to stock normal size buds. Not everyone like immature flower. I did like your gram for $1 that was a cool addition to my order. read more

Nicolette made my visit to the Syndicate unforgettable. She was patient, knowledgeable, and carried a genuine belief in the plant that came through in every word. Her spirit and guidance turned what could have been a transaction into a truly meaningful experience. Thank you sincerely! read more

Was coming in and some old guy was staring at me. Say to him seen him a bunch of times, why are you staring like that? Lil guy freaks out about how hes the owner and im banned. Talk about napoleon syndrome. Been a patron for roughly 10 years, had i known they switched owners to these "thugs" id have stopped coming years ago. I would never knowingly fund scum. Dont worry "boss" i wont be back lol. Ps. Waited until later to edit this because they were deleting it. Owner tried to run up and fight me in the parking lot. His staf was "holding him back".. he waited until they were outside to get big n tough. Not a peep till he was right by the door then he started screaming so theyd come out. Dont go here. read more

The website states they accept delivery orders up until 8:30pm. Order was placed online at 8:19pm and I get a call that the drivers out and won't be back until after 10pm. This isn't the first time this has happened. Should state earlier hours to stop deliveries versus stating you can deliver and letting the customer order online and easy their time. read more

They have always had great customer service! My husband and I always enjoy our visit when picking up sleepy time goodies.

Ive been a loyal customer for 8yrs, spending about $250 a week during that time-NOT ANYMORE!!!!!. I went there the other day and apparently the bud tender forgot to put my $46 hash hole in the bag. I realized today. After I checked my whole house/car to make sure it wasn't my error, I called. And called and called. The third time someone picked up, I stated my issue and was put on hold for the manager. I remained on hold for 30 minutes, so I drove there- still on hold. Upon entry I'm told they thought the call dropped (which was perplexing to me as my phone was still showing me on hold-and if the call "dropped" it would have done so on both ends-I'm not stupid) he also said they were understaffed (worth noting that not ONE customer was in there at the time) This is an establishment with multiple locations, so quite frankly GET IT TOGETHER-your poor management is not my problem. They reviewed the tapes (at least that's what they said) and realized I was correct (yea cuz I'm an honest person and would never lie about bullshit like this ) But question-if the bud tender rings you up and takes your money and there's still a $46 item left on the side, why am I the one contacting you to tell u? Shouldn't you have called me to let me know? SHADY. Again, I'm not new to this place I've been coming here 8 yrs and spending a shit ton of money. So thanks for giving me my $46 hash hole that I paid for and an extra blunt for my aggravation, but this place SUCKS. It wasn't handled well AT ALLLLLLL. Not only are they at least $3-4 more per item than everyone else in town, don't get me started on the price difference on actual flower. They just lost a really good customer. My new spot is FRIDAZE on Ventura in Encino. Nice ppl. Cash only but significantly cheaper than RDC/THE SYNDICATE. They will appreciate my money more than RDC EVER did. BYE FELICIA. And worth noting that I have only ever posted glowing reviews about places. I never post a negative review but NOT TODAY. That's how disgusted I am. read more

Talk about customer service! I came in here last week for the first time and was amazed at how sweet everyone was. I got a gift for being a first time customer and they were super quick to answer all of my questions as well as offer great suggestions. Everything I was looking for was reasonably priced and even cheaper compared to other places in the area. For someone that doesn't go pick up weed myself very often, it was super comforting walking into here. Will definitely be recommending more people to come here! read more

They always have what I need Fully stocked plus the also have a full line of CBD Great service Highly recommed read more

Be cautious when considering their CBD section. As someone who has been sober for over 13 years, I have personally found pure CBD products with a THC content of 0.3% to be effective for improving sleep without causing any psychoactive effects. In the past, I have always purchased my CBD from a trusted shop in Santa Monica. However, since moving to the valley, I decided to explore this store. Last night, I visited this store and engaged in a conversation with one of the associates about their Lucy brand CBD joints. I made it clear that I was sober and specifically asked if the product contained only CBD and no psychoactive effects which she confirmed. The label on the back of said .3% thc as well. The front said hhcp which I wasn't familiar with but again trusted the sales associate and back of label. Only now after a horrific experience with it I googled and see it's a potent psychoactive cannabino. A cbd store should be prohibited from selling this. Without knowing this wasn't cbd normally Carried in a cbd store, I experienced immediate negative effects. I became light-headed, dizzy, nauseous, and paranoid. I also experienced shivering and uncontrollable heart palpitations. These symptoms were completely unlike any previous experiences I had with CBD. It is evident to me that these products should not be sold as CBD especially when someone makes a staff member aware they are sober. I contacted the manager of the store this morning to bring this issue to their attention and to prevent others from experiencing similar adverse effects, especially if they are sober and looking for a safe, non psychoactive alternative. The manager appeared concerned and promised to investigate the matter. However, I have not received a follow-up call. I am still feeling unwell as a result of consuming this, a cbd store should know better than to carry a psychoactive drug while telling people it isn't. read more

I hate to do this because this has been my longtime place but they're charging extra to use debit cards now which them not doing was the only thing that made up for their already high prices. Public Service Announcement ‼ If you plan to use your debit card, you will be charged an additional $2.99 from Syndicate and also will be charged a fee from your bank. Total amount will be at least $6 added to your product purchase. Their receipts provide no information on the $2.99 they charge, only the product cost. Also your card statement will say ATM withdrawal, not Syndicate, for the product cost and $2.99 fee. The more you know. read more

This place was so cool to come to. It's right around the block for me and I had no idea about this place until I looked it up on my GPS on my phone. When I walked in it was really awesome at first and the guy told me to push the red book and I did that and opened up into a big room...so yes, it is a speakeasy place Which is really nice cause I've always wanted to go in one. My eyes widen because of how cool this place looked. I felt like they pretty much had everything that I was interested in... and they had all my favourite types that I liked to try. I can't wait to come back. I was really happy with all the selections and the value of things as well. Mike was such a sweet person and helped me choose awesome stuff! Whenever you first come in there and buy a bunch of things you get a free T-shirt and a free joint as well so that's really nice. I highly recommend this place.!! I just wish there website was working. Also, I would like to browse the place on my own and not have someone right behind me every second. But it's whatever. I'll still come back. read more
