It's a layered, multi-use space made up of small shops, boutiques, home décor, and curated goods that invite you to wander rather than rush. What makes it stand out, at least for me, is that it feels intentionally designed for the way people actually live and work now. As someone who is constantly looking for places where I can sit down with my laptop and get real work done while in transit, this checks a very specific box. Not just "can I sit here," but can I actually stay, focus, and be productive without feeling out of place. That's rare. They've gone a step further by building out proper workspaces and collaborating with Regus, which gives it a level of legitimacy beyond the typical café-with-WiFi setup. It feels like a place that understands the digital nomad mindset rather than just catering to it on the surface. Then there's the rooftop. Fully serviced, flexible, and surprisingly elevated for Palm Springs. This isn't a city known for vertical spaces, so being up there, looking out while still feeling connected to what's happening below, creates a perspective you don't really get elsewhere in town. It manages to feel both removed and right in the middle of everything at the same time. For Palm Springs, it's genuinely one of a kind.

*Risen Brian on Blue Planet*…read more What an incredible water store. Been to a handful of others but this is hands down the best in town. Water is not just water and Blue Plant has great fresh tasting h2o. The store is very clean & tidy which means everything when trusting someone's water source and maintenance. Brian is super helpful and friendly, and quite busy too because people come pouring in & out quicker than a flowing faucet. I've been recovering from surgery and can't lift anything over 10 lbs for another month :( 2 gallons of water weighs 17 lbs. Blue Planet provides carts on wheels to transport bottles to your car. But didn't want wifey to carry the load again. When Brian overhead us he quickly asked where our car is parked then asked us to pop open the trunk. He loaded up the car in less than a minute...then rushed right back inside to assist other customers. Talk about amazing customer service for a $2+ purchase. Their prices are standard: $0.50/gallon Reverse Osmosis $1.25/gallon Alkaline Brian offers full-service to everyone, which entails lightly rinsing out your bottle(s) and filling them up...then sealing the spout with elastic plastic so nothing spills out. They sell all types & sizes of non toxic plastic bottles and glass bottles too. I have two 1 gallon bottles & one 2 gallon bottle with a spout that I've purchased in the past elsewhere. But if & when more is needed, I'm giving Blue Planet more of my biz. Even though I don't live within a close proximity, I try to incorporate visits here when in the area, because their customer service is outstanding and it's one of the best water stores on Blue Planet earth.

It was a residence and no trucks were in sight. I wanted to contact them as they had installed an upscale water heater in the condo I had bought. The prior owner was the one who had them do the installation in July 2016. She left the paperwork with the unit. The water heater failed. I contacted the home protection plan I had. They came out and saw the problem. The electronic control unit failed due to it having been installed incorrectly. [The gas line comes in through the control unit but there apparently is supposed to be some type of filter installed from the line to where it goes into the control unit. The lack of this caused it to fail.] The warranty would not cover a replacement part due to its being installed incorrectly, voiding not only the terms of the home protection plan but also the manufacturer's 6 yr warranty. So, I had to foot the bill of a new control unit [almost $400] plus the necessary installation fee. As there was no way for me to contact PDM by phone and due to my skepticism due to the address being a residence, I cannot say anything at this point other than any person considering them, be aware of what happened to me.
