This is my 2nd trip to Chicago, and it has renewed my love of it. I wanted a souvenir that spoke to…read moreme. I used to watch a lot of mafia/mobster movies and read books on them so of course I needed an Al Capone souvenir. They had a small rubber figurine of him in a shot glass and another larger bobblehead. Had the figurine not been glued into the shot glass or cheaper I might have gone that route due to size. But the bobblehead was voted in by the wife and dad so it came home with me and I am a fan. Now it can sit on our display shelf with our penguin figurine collection, and the birdies can be intimidated by -- "Big Al".

I only got a sweatshirt tbe first day I was there I came back right before I left Chicago to get souvenirs for friends and family. Both times staff informed me that all things were final sale and unable to be exchanged, which I appreciated because it allowed me to decide if what I was getting was worth it. The clothing items I got were true to size and the quality was good. The second time I was there had different staff but they were just as friendly as when I first went in. Everything was "expensive", but it was about the same price as any souvenir shop you'd go to anywhere. Overall great souvenir shop!

Neat gift shop, definitely one of the cleaner more organized ones in Chinatown. We did end up…read morepurchasing some very hard to find Hollow Knight figures (my son's favorite video game), so that was a nice surprise. Everything is laid out pretty neatly, there are some 'sale' items in the front as well. However, most of the items expect to pay a premium for - because they are branded merchandise. Checkout was pretty fast and the place was air conditioned, so it's always a regular stop when we are in walking through Chinatown. Worth stopping in!

During our trip to Chicago, my daughter and I went to Chinatown and found this cute shop in the block. However, as soon as we stepped in we received rude stares from the employees. Even after minding our own business, I looked over and watched 2 of the employees point and laugh at my daughter. The other customers who were asian and white didnt receive this treatment, yet I watched another black family get mocked as well. It is disgusting and disgraceful having to witness this for zero reason. Later on as well, my daughter informed me that nearly all the merchandise sold here is stolen art and nothing is official, which is insane as they were wanting nearly $14 for a pin that was created by someone on Esty originally. For a place thats supposed to bring in culture and diversity, it seems like all they wanted to bring was hate and bad juju. Don't come to this store, there were tons of other places throughout Chinatown that had the same exact items, for cheaper and a way more welcoming staff.

A very nice experience. I was impressed by their broad range of merchandise, everything from paper…read morelanterns to wood carvings to dolls. And they have a nice selection of Chinese dresses and shirts reasonably priced (even if the changing room is a little dodgy.) There were also some pretty kimono, which was awesome. There are just so many pretty things at good prices. The only thing is that, as a fair number of stores in Chinatown, it's a little cramped and somewhat difficult to get around. I couldn't even get to some of the clothing in the back since there was a ladder in the way. I'm willing to overlook that, though. The staff was really friendly and helpful, very fun to talk to. We had a little mix up because they charged us for items my brother had bought separately and they weren't really sure how to refund us but they were so nice about it and were clearly trying their best. Overall it's a nice experience, good little place to do some light knick knack shopping.

If you wanna look like you've been to China with a bunch of Chinese stuff made in China, this is the place. They do have things relating to Chicago, but a lot of the stuff is just Chinese stuff that'll sit around your house gathering dust. Think lots of little statues, vases, cups, bowls. I feel like a bull in a China shop in here- all the aisles and merchandise is so jammed close together, that every time I turn around, I feel like I'm going to break some fragile jade egg or some bamboo vase. They also sell Chinese clothing, which all seemed a bit small for my tastes. But it's pretty. It's a shop in a nice location- it's sort of in the souvenir district of Chinatown- there's a few cool other similar shops on the same street, right in front of the Chinese archway that leads you into Chinatown.
