Played Slowdive on their radio. Very based. Worker was passionately helpful to customers. They have nearly all kinds of physical media a media collector/horror fan could ever ask for, like movie soundtrack cassettes and VHS. Some of which are sealed!

OK so I stumbled across this place on a stroll from Wicker Park to Logan Square and had to pop in. It's a charming spot that's got a museum mixed with a record/film label and lots of horror/terror related stuff but the best part for me was doing the tour! I had no idea what to expect, but it's a guided tour with some self-guided portions as well - it's not super extensive but has lots of really interesting and rare items on display. I saw my first geep and found fascinating history about people like Anton LaVey, David Huggins, Arthur Trout and of course John Wayne Gacy. Also after you finish the tour there's a secret arcade where you can play some horror themed games like Funhouse pinball and more!

Went in to waste time looking at weird antiques, did not expect to see original John Wayne Gacy paintings. Yeah they have records and some misc creepy antiques and taxidermy as well as horror merchandise but this place is much more than meets the eye. There is a mini oddities museum inside! For only $5! They have lots of connections I'm not even going to speculate how one gets into the field of "occult, sideshow, and serial killer collecting" but it's astounding. I particularly liked the part of the museum about freak shows and oddities, they have many taxidermied specimens including my favorite, the adorable 8 legged Victorian "geep". Lots of primary source photos and letters from freak show performers, artifacts from various secret societies, and a recreation of John Wayne Gacy's cell- complete with over a dozen of his original paintings. Really cool spot!

A truly unique and affordable option in Bucktown. If you are into Goth, Shoegaze, metal, and Jazz this place has you covered.

Other then those two things this place is great, and would come back again.

I was told I would receive a call the following day once it was tested. After receiving no update, I called the store myself and was told my offer was ready and to come in. After driving over 40 minutes, I was informed in person that you could not accept the console due to a fan issue--information that should have been communicated over the phone. Additionally, during a previous visit to sell a collection of Naruto Funko Pops and manga, I explicitly asked to complete the transaction that day to avoid another trip. Despite assurances, I was kept waiting until closing time, only to be given a rushed and surprisingly low offer. Clear communication and respect for customers' time are essential. I hope you will address these issues to improve your service going forward.
