As a parent, I am extremely disturbed by what my 13-year-old daughter experienced during her visit…read moreto UFC Gym Reno. She attended one class with a friend who is a member. During that visit, one of the coaches, Javi, made comments that were completely inappropriate for an adult in a position of trust. He told my daughter she "fights like a ghetto Black girl," which is an unacceptable and offensive remark to make to any child. He then had my 13-year-old daughter call me on the phone. During that interaction, he asked her to show him my social media pictures and told her he wanted me to have his babies. I have never met this man in my life. When I gave him no attention, he reportedly told my daughter, "Tell her never mind. She looks like she's an attention-seeking mother." I cannot understand why an adult coach would involve a minor in a personal conversation about her mother or make comments like these to a child. Coaches are supposed to mentor, encourage, and create a safe environment not put children in the middle of inappropriate personal interactions. I sincerely hope UFC Gym Reno takes this complaint seriously and investigates what happened. Parents should be able to trust that their children are in a safe, respectful, and professional environment.

All the ladies are great instructors and it makes lifting more fun with the music. And it is also difficult and get for muscle endurance! They recently added Yoga which is a nice addition for a gym to not have to pay extra from the membership or go to a separate place to get Yoga classes.

He is very knowledgeable and has greatly helped me with my strength. I had a surgery (Left clavicle ORIF) and had not gained back all of my strength and happy to say I have and gone beyond that. I have continued to build strength and am working on that and some weight loss now. I have always been athletic but felt a decline nearing my 40s but having the personal training is making it so that isn't a negative anymore to my sports performance.

My trainer at Performance EDU (Collin LaPorte) has the experience and training to help me work on various parts of my body, focusing on different muscle groups each session. My best friend has been working out here for two years so this recommendation comes from her as well. Watching all the different fitness coaches here work with people who have varying degrees of endurance and goals reassures me that they all are capable at what they do. I instantly was hooked!!! It is so nice going to the gym every day not trying to come up with a workout plan of what area I want to work out for the day. Bryan always has a great game plan; he keeps track of what areas of your body you've already trained for the week and already has a full workout set up and ready to go when you get there. He has so much great advice not only on working out, but on nutrition as well. I will send him messages after the gym or on weekends and ask him if I could eat a certain food with my diet plan or drink a certain beverage and he responds right away and always has something positive to reply with like what I can replace it with instead. He gave me instruction on what to eat and how often, so that I didn't feel hungry all the time. Coach B is motivating, but he really doesn't have to be. His Body Sculpting program is SO EASY and gets such FAST results, that you'd have to be kind of an idiot to not be excited about it. I can open jars without the help of hot water for the first time in my life! LOL! Rather than working one-on-one like a standard personal trainer, he does coaching sessions, where several people might be working out all at the same time. I just started working out with Terri Barcarik five weeks ago and I already feel amazing…read more I hadn't done anything for a while and am really out of shape. Terri assessed where I needed to start and while it has been challenging and I do get sore, I am loving it. I never feel like I am going to get hurt or that she is going to ask me to do something I can't do. That doesn't mean that is easy. Terri really pushes me and challenges me and I look forward to working out with her each time. She also really watches my form and helps me adjust so that I don't get hurt and I get the most out of each movement. She also keeps the workouts fun and they constantly change.
