I am actually the worst person to write a review about this place. I would actually never go here.
Why? I don't eat meat. Or seafood. Or any animal by-product... which is what you call a vegan. I do this not to piss people off by my "fussiness", but because I don't want to hurt any animals.
My family, however, does not share the same sentiments and good intentions as I do. So when we eat out, most of the time they get the final verdict on where to eat...and they chose this during one of our family dinners.
I didn't feel like picking through a salad, so if I'm in a typical restaurant and the salad options don't seem appetizing to me, I head on over to the pasta page of their menu as chances are, there is something here for me... and there was!
I'm proud to report that I've had one of the best pesto dishes at THIS place. THIS. WHY. WHY THIS PLACE?!?! I don't even feel comfortable setting foot here without feeling queasy, but their pesto pasta is just so good (remember to hold the cheese if you are vegan, though). It even has pine nuts! Okay my enthusiasm makes me sound like a pine nuts virgin, but how often do you get good pesto pasta that has pine nuts? Not very often as these babies can get pretty pricey!
Anyway... so there you go fellow vegan/vegetarian. I wouldn't recommend this place ever, but if you're here and there's nothing you can do about it, there is GREAT pesto waiting for you. read more
