And reviewing others who have been fitted for drivers with other companies, still feel like the $1000 was on the high-side of everybody else. He fitted me into a shaft based not purely on swing speed but what gave me the most consistently good results. He even had me try the 0317 T heads that are not currently the newest product in order to determine what would truly be best for an iron fitting. There was no pressure on his part for me to purchase an iron set only recommendations based on the data from our session. I decided to purchase the 0311T gen 8 irons from 5 through PW. Kevin even determined that a shaft half an inch longer helped me to strike the ball more purely than standard length which is something that i felt intuitively worked for me through years of trial and error but now backed up with data from an iron fitting on track man. Again, the session was so educational and after years of playing this game and having a feeling through trying different shafts and iron heads of what SEEMS to work better it has now been validated through a proper iron fitting based on data.I even ended up with a shaft that I would not have chosen for myself, yet i hit most consistently in a particular weight, flex AND length. Kevin even dialed in the headweight by adding 7 gram weights on both toe and heel. On a final note, I was very surprised to learn that the additional weights put the swing weight at D6, which i would never have envisioned as the SW that would allow me to strike the ball most consistently which again was backed up by data showing the most consistent front to back dispersion as well as right to left. I would highly recommend a PXG iron fitting to learn WHAT combination works best for YOUR golf swing !

Scott was incredibly helpful providing feedback on my swing and why the golfball was performing the way that it was in relation to my swing. After hitting a bunch of balls, Scott then bent all my current irons to .5* upright as my irons (TM P770 2021) were all way off on lie angles. After making those necessary adjustments my ball flight was straighter and I was also back to hitting controlled draws! This was thanks to my fitter, pretty sure his name was Carl (sorry about the short term memory), who found a set that I hit consistently with my current swing. He also helped me greatly with my wedges. I even walked out with a putter with some more advice from my guy. The price of golf clubs is also gonna be "the price", no complaints there. I recently went in for a Long Game fitting with Doug Mcilvain, and it turned out to be one of the…read moremost valuable experiences I've had for my game. From the start, the fitter took time to understand my current setup, typical ball flight, and what I was hoping to improve. Instead of rushing into swinging clubs, we talked through my strengths, weaknesses, and playing habits. The fitting itself was very detailed. Using launch monitor data, we tested several different club heads and shaft combinations. I was able to see real numbers like ball speed, spin rate, and launch angle. Doug explained everything clearly and adjusted clubs throughout the session so we could dial in the best combination. I am excited to get the new clubs out on the course and play!

I fully expected that my equipment exceeded their grade for "average", they couldn't even be trusted to honor that. The turnaround was slow. The clubs sat at their location for over a week before they even looked at them. DO NOT sell them your used clubs. Be aware this is not an individual store I'm talking about, it's their corporate HQ. It has been a totally bad experience. I also had ordered a Cobra fairway wood from them, and it was supposed to have a Denali Black shaft, it came with a blue. So their staff botched to description of the club, or more likely sent me a different one. So basically both of my interactions with them have been bad. I have to use up my credit with them, and I'll never do business with them again.
